A very special thank-you goes to Barbara Upah, our Marriage Officiant. From the very beginning, Barbara was professional, compassionate, knowledgeable, and incredibly supportive. She provided a consultation and carefully walked us through the entire process so that Brian, Patience, and our family understood exactly what needed to be done.
She made what could have been a stressful process feel simple, organized, and comfortable. Barbara assisted us with the marriage licensing process, explained each step clearly, and was always available to answer our questions. Whether it was during the day or at night, by text or by phone, she was responsive, patient, and reassuring.
The ceremony itself was absolutely beautiful. Brian and Patience were able to share this special moment with family and friends, including loved ones joining from different locations. Having both families present to witness their union made the occasion even more meaningful.
We especially appreciated the care Barbara took to make sure Brian and Patience felt comfortable and that everything went smoothly. Her expertise, kindness, and attention to detail allowed everyone to focus on what truly mattered—the love and commitment being celebrated.

We attended a friend’s wedding recently. A really lovely, intimate wedding ceremony held in a Spanish villa. Everything ran smoothly and the bride and groom had a stress free and fabulous day to remember. Something a bit different and so easy to organise. I would definitely recommend Freedom Marriages.
