I was on the hunt for a new computer desk a few years ago and struggled to find a solid wenge worktop that would match my existing furniture and offer the right dimensions. Most standard worktops lacked the depth I needed for my monitors and keyboard. Fortunately, I discovered Friska, which offered custom-sized options. While the worktop was a significant investment, its perfect fit and solid build were exactly what I was looking for. After four years of daily use, it has held up beautifully.

I ordered my Stockholm Dual Motor Standing Friska Desk in February 2019 and it has been a daily driver for me since then with almost no issue.

The build quality is fantastic, the desk still looks brand new even though I have used it almost every single day for both work and gaming.

It definitely got a lot of use when my work role went remote during COVID! What's more is that the customer service is exceptional. When I first purchased my Friska Desk I had an issue with the right leg stuttering/not responding to the controls.

I had an engineer out within a day to support. I also had an issue later in 2022 when one of the cables connecting to the power unit was faulty. Again I was supported over email from customer service immediately and send a replacement power cable ASAP.

Overall I couldn't be happy with the order, my wife and I use it almost every day and we're super impressed by the quality, value for money and customer service. 100% recommend for anyone who wants a proper quality working from home / study desk!

Great Desk, love the arm but they have missed half of my order and unfortunately it was not delivered, as they forgot to give my address to the second delivery company (they claimed it is my fault, as I was not home) - still waiting for this.

The arm had to be replaced, which they send of immediately.

They are very friendly though.

I've loved my desk since it first arrived and the support I've had from the team at Friska has been first class! Even several years later, they're always very helpful whenever I have a question or need help, which is just as valuable as the product itself!

Bought my Friska Desk (Malmo single motor) during the first lockdown in 2020 and have used it daily ever since - it was easy to assemble and is rock solid at all heights. Better than this, the customer service is second to none - both at the time of ordering, then a couple of months later when I finally got around to installing some of the parts and couldn't work it out - but also now 4 years later when the mechanism developed a fault and they had sent out replacement parts within hours. Fantastic company!

I originally ordered samples for my desktop which arrived very quickly. It was a while before I was able to order the desk but I was not hassled. Unfortunately the first desktop arrived damaged but this was remedied immediately and the replacement arrived a couple of days later. Excellent customer service and support throughout. The desk is good quality and perfect for my requirements.

i unexpectedly found this cable tray. not knowing they even existed. I was quiet surprised to see it fits most desks so decided to try one myself ...oh boy am i glad i did almost 70 cables tucked away in a tray at the rear undersde of desk (mixer) channelling cables either left or right as reqd no more "Cable curtain" visible more footspace, much tidier lookiing......... go on buy one and feel the joy i did

I bought a Friska desk about 3 years ago and I am still very happy with it!
It still works as it should and there is no wear and tear visible anywhere.
Customer Service continues to be excellent!

Everything from Merle helping me find the perfect legs to support my custom desk. I ordered the Stockholm heavy duty 160KG legs along with short feet and smaller cross bar.

Build quality is excellent, the after care support is great. It just works.

My only wish is that the iphone app for Bluetooth had apple shortcut support.

The desk looks great, was pretty easy to put together, and functions very well. It has needed to be reset once or twice but the customer service team was incredibly responsive, which I would not expect for this sort of product. It's expensive, but a very good piece of kit.

I ordered from Friska after reading lots of reviews. I was amazed by the personal service following up my order by E-mail and phone. It arrived the next day beautifully packaged. Quite a long time to build it but everything is solidly good quality and fits together as it should. Pre-drilled desk top aligned with base perfectly. The desk is rock solid at all working heights even on carpet.

Love the products. The desk is a revelation for working from home. Plus a big shout out for their customer service. One of the USB charging points stopped working and they sent me a replacement straight out.

I bought the Malmo height adjustable standing desk bundle and I love it. The quality is excellent and it was pretty easy to assemble. The customer service is excellent, nothing is too much trouble. 10/10 would highly recommend.

Friska - Stockholm Sit/Stand Desk

Product - is truly excellent. The worktop is a nice finish with zero movement when extended (with 2 monitors + 2 laptops + other bits) which is key. It looks so good with the minimal design legs - definitely recommend their cable management system - it is adjustable width and fits into the frame system easily.

Assembly - Very manageable - I did it myself in 1-2hours. Only needed help with worktop and then final flip over. Instructions are very clear - parts have been made well - everything fits, screw threads are clean and straight. Desk comes in parts on pallet which is well protected. Small issue with missing screws - which company sent out straight away (I couldn't wait over the weekend, so went ahead and used substitute screws from local hardware store).

Customer service - this is where Friska really stand out. It has taken a few months for me to finalise the design of my desk, and I have been in email and phone contact with Merle in customer services. She has answered all my questions quickly and clearly. And once desk was ordered (my worktop is custom 1.9m x 0.75m) stayed in contact to ensure every detail was correct, and to inform of lead times, delivery times, specifics around delivery. Top drawer customer service.

Friska vs competitors - I have spent a year + looking at sit/stand desks. There are a few other companies that come close (premium desks with customisable options) - but I went with Friska as I believed its product/customer service/10 year warranty made them the best option. And I am very very happy with the outcome.

great products but very expensive. i brought the Extra Heavy Duty Stockholm frame.i have to say its a great desk but the controller needs to be the Kubbe model as standard to compliment the desk and the price point.

its not all about the money! i can understand its a premium desk but need to update the parts which come with the desk and throw in some extras. other wise people on a budget cant afford it OR if they can afford the desk the add ons make it so expensive.

I received Aktiv riser desk at the end of December. It’s been brilliant. It moves quietly and has fixed height programmable settings. The quality is great and it comes in a range of sizes.
I needed a smaller width desk and this range provides one.
Also came with Standing Mat, which is a must whilst working.
Ordering and delivery were hassle free and I was kept informed through.

I left a review of the "Visby Single Gas Assisted Monitor Arm", which has since been deleted.

This arm is listed on the website at £119, but on other websites it sells for £65. It is actually the "AVA21DS" (allcam). They changed the name on their website so they could mark it up a ridiculous amount!

This "rebranding" is dubious business practice in the first place, but to then delete my review is clearly bad. Their best-selling desk (the "Stockholm" - which, by the way, is actually the Swedstyle Frame Aero 2.0 Flex 660), has something like 100 5 star reviews and 1 4 star review (which is only not 5 stars because of the delivery). They're probably deleting any bad reviews of that too!

This is one of the first reviews I have ever written, just so that others can know about Friska too. I found this brand as I was looking for a standing desk, and the primary reason I decided to go with Friska was the great reviews. So, well, I can confirm that my experience has been exactly as spectacular as the reviews suggest, if not better. Mike helped me choose the right desk and the right specifications, including giving his suggestions on colour choices. He is a super hands-on manager with great product knowledge and that made my life just so much easier during the process – something you can’t really get from other brands at all. Not surprised Friska already won awards, and they will continue winning with this superb customer service for sure. One of the most pleasant experiences I have ever had.

I've had my purchase around a month now, so feel like that's long enough to give it a solid first impression.

I purchased the Stockholm desk frame to attach to a desktop I already had, and honestly the whole process was pretty painless. The instructions were clear, everything was provided (short of a screwdriver/drill) and while putting it together, and then orienting it once built, I noted it was remarkably sturdy. At no point did I feel like the frame was ever going to separate from the desktop, nor did I think the legs would fold into each other (which was a concern when I realised I wanted to shift the desktop back on the legs, and so unscrewed everything).

Overall I think assembly of the legs probably took about 20-30 minutes, and fitting the desktop took about 10, so it's not a massive undertaking but the results are excellent.

Mine came with some cable management gear, such as a cradle that sits under the desk which is incredibly useful, and far better than what I was expecting - it's very 'stealthy' and allows for quick access to itself just by unhooking some pop-out holds so you can rearrange whatever cables you've got running through it, or add more power extensions without needing to remove the entire thing.

As for the actual desk, once built with everything on it (computer, monitor arms + monitors) it just does not wobble. I have to physically grab it and shake to make it move, which you'd expect of any desk. This is the same at sitting height and at standing height, which was one of my main concerns, so I'm very happy to find that it feels so anchored.

The mechanism used to lift is surprisingly quiet for something shifting this much weight, and does it quickly. It's got a smart sensor so if it detects some resistance it will stop and won't let you raise it higher until you've lowered it again - which as it turns out is very needed because it seems like it's very easy to get swept up in the fact you can move a desk up and not notice things getting pushed into the underside of a shelf.

I also highly recommend their cable management bundle, especially if it's included as a special offer, as the cable runner is excellent - much larger than I was expecting but that ended up being to my benefit, and given it's at the back of the desk anyway it's not a problem.

I also got the smart memory switch which does exactly what it says on the tin, and is definitely more convenient than having to remember!

Overall, I couldn't recommend it enough. I waited a month before reviewing as I wanted to get a proper feel for it, and after this time I can safely say it is an incredibly well engineered/manufactured desk, and was well worth the money.
