Very Disappointing Experience with Furni

Our experience with Furni has been extremely disappointing from start to finish.
The sofa we ordered arrived in a color that was supposed to match the one shown on the website, but in reality it looked completely different. The photo showed a beige color, while the actual sofa was much more grey. On top of that, the seating comfort was not what we expected, and to make matters worse, the couch was delivered incomplete, missing screws and pillows.
The situation became even worse when we tried to contact customer service. Communication was very difficult, as the (Polish?) staff spoke and wrote very poor English, which made resolving the issue unnecessarily complicated.
We eventually decided to return the sofa and requested a refund. Even that process was difficult and slow. Although we were promised a refund after returning the item, we are still waiting and have not received our money. We paid €180 for shipping the sofa back. It is very frustrating that Furni does not keep the promises they make to their customers.
Overall, this has been a very frustrating and exhausting experience. I would not recommend ordering from Furni.

We would like to give a full overview of this case to our customers so allow us to reply.

Your sofa was delivered in the same colour you ordered. We do offer free samples to make sure you receive the colour that is needed so we have not done anything wrong here. Sofa comfort - this obviously depends on customer needs and merlot is our bestseller which is what you ordered. We offered a return when you informed us about and you decided to return the sofa.

Yes the order was delivered incomplete as some pillows/screws were missing but this was quickly resolved and delivered within 2 business days. We also apologised and offered further discounts/offers to make up for this issue.

We are very dissappointed with your incomplete overview of the situation. We informed you that we will seek the cheapest return for you and it took 2 weeks to find the right return solution which you accepted. Refund has been processed and you received your funds.

Unfortunately your review is missing key pieces of information so we had no choice but to reply and give everyone a balanced view of this case.

In the end we delivered the sofa you ordered and we accepted a return as promised on our site. Refund has ben processed also so we kept every promise that is visible on our site.

As 50+ other 5/5 reviews clearly show, this case is an extremely unique case which in the end was closed with a successful return and refund to customer.

Very disappointed with this company!!!!!!
First no delivery in to city centre, no communication, they refuse to return my payment for sofa they didn't deliver and try to change me additional 330€ for no delivery.

After weeks of fighting and waiting, I received sofa in already used version, with half of assembled mechanism still on, with the wrong site position, black colour is for them light silver and without complet fixing mechanism.
After they they lied, claiming that they did everything and more...at the end they blame me for everything that went wrong. Very rude personal, I can honestly say they were nasty.
I will need to take them to the EU court for customer rights and protection, not receiving the goods in new condition and as described.

Never buy from them, it's just waist of money and time.

We would like to give our side to the story to give our amazing customers a view from both sides.

First of all, we never sold / delivered a used sofa. All of our products are manufactured when an order is placed so we do not hold any stock of new/used sofas so this is technically not possible.

Secondly the delivery issue took place as you did not notify us at all that the delivery cannot be made into the city center after certain hour of the day. The driver could not have known and we only found out after the fact. As the delivery could not be made the sofa returned to our factory and after we agreed a 2nd delivery attempt we successfully delivered the sofa.

Thirdly, the order was delivered so we are not sure where your accusations are coming. We did not try to charge you 330 EUR for no delivery not we did not refuse to return any payments.

We also made multiple attempts at making this experience as good as possible given delivery issues which you refused to accept.

We have hundreds of happy customers and not a single one ever made such accusations. To any of our future customers who may have any doubts feel free to reach out to us as we will be more than happy to provide screenshots and proof that accusations made here are absolutely baseless.

Canapé Merlot une merveille

Je recommande ce site pour la qualité de ces produits. Mon canapé Merlot est juste magnifique, l'assise est dense, le tissu respire la qualité et la couleur est parfaite. Le bémol pour la livraison, le livreur nous a prévenus le jour même pour une livraison le soir, ça aurait été mieux d'être prévenus à l'avance.

Fantastic service

Fantastic service! You can safely order from Furni. Great communication throughout the entire process. I ordered a sofa and asked for it in a different color than the available options — this was no problem at all and even without any extra charge. Truly amazing service. The delivery team drove all the way from Poland to Denmark and even helped carry it inside. I have absolutely nothing negative to say ☺️

Big Bold and Beautiful

I am so happy for my Merlot sofa , it's Big Bold and Beautiful, and the very large pillows I bought with just makes it even more luxurious, it invites you to relaxation and well yes you guess 😊
I can only recommend it.

Perfect sofa and great quality

The sofa is so awesome. Perfect quality and it was delivered extremely fast. It is cozy and fits perfectly into my living room. Going to buy another Furni pouf now. 10/10 recommend!

Purchase Scam

Scam. I never received my order after waiting a whole month. I didn’t receive so much as an update as to where my order was. I was forced to contact my bank in order to get my money back.

Hi Tiana, thank you for your review. We cannot accept scam accusations as the order was shipped from our side 2x times but it was returned to us by uk customs. We then cancelled the ordered and refunded you the full amount. We never received any replies to our emails. Overall we shipped hundreds of sofas to customers across Europe and nobody ever called us a scam company so we cannot accept this. We apologise for the situation we wanted to fix it. Unfortunately without any contact we cannot do it so we proactively refunded the money after which you still opened a chargeback with your bank. Please reply to our communication so we can take it offline. We would also like to let every other customer / potential customer know that this is the only review of this type and never had any kind of issues like this one.

Very very happy

We were in doubt to order a sofa we had never seen or tested before but it looked very comfortable with the nice green fabric on the website. Once the sofa arrived we were very happy with the colour, seating & delivery. I would recommend this sofa to everyone!

Nice people, great product

The MERLOT sofa i ordered sits and looks amazing. It was a little difficult to communicate by email at first, but when i added them on Whatsapp it all went smooth. The people are really nice and helpful. I’ll recommend them.

Definitely recommend it!

We were unsure about buying a sofa online like this, without seeing it, but we were very pleased when it arrived! I can say you can buy without fear! We loved the model, the color, and it seems to be of great quality! (We hope it lasts as well, but we're already very happy). Just for your information, we thought the sofa came with metal pieces for connecting the sides between the modules, something that didn't come (it came only to connect the back to the sit), but for now it seems like it can be used without any problems and they don't come apart. Very good costumer service experience as well!

5-star sofa, 1-star customer service

Edit: The team apologized and told me that my experience is an exception. They gifted me 2 extra pillows due to my experience. I am updating my review here not to mislead anyone who is thinking about buying this couch. So far, everyone who sat on it asked where I got it from.

Very comfy sofa. But delivery was a painful.

They tried to deliver the sofa twice, without letting me know in advance.

All communications via whatsapp (whenever they feel like responding). I had to ask them so many times if they know the delivery date. Every time, they said they don't know, because the delivery is done by a company they work with.

In the end, I received the sofa, after 2 months of effort. I didn't know they are not bringing it upstairs, however the driver was nice enough to help me, we carried 7 boxes of sofa up together.

Overall, it is a very comfy couch, but keep in mind that you need nerves of steel to deal with the customer service.

We would like to apologise for the delivery experience. It is important to point out that this issue has taken place due to the fact that we were ready to deliver the sofa ahead of schedule which in most cases is appreciated by customers. The first delivery attempt was made 2,5 weeks after you placed your order. The final delivery was made 2 months after placing your order due to the fact that a) we tried to deliver too early, b) you were away from home for a certain time during which time we had to move the sofa back to our warehouse in Poland to store it c) our factory was closed down for annual summer break at the beginning of August. We would like to stress out that this is not a normal experience and 99% of our orders are delivered on time without any issues.

WhatsApp is the most favourable form of communication as there is no risk of messages ending up in SPAM so it is the safest and fastest way to communicate hence why we mainly use that form of communication.

Will buy again!

I’m VERY happy with the product. The quality is amazing and the seating is nice and soft. Assembly was advised to do with 2 people, but can be done by one.

At first I thought the metal brackets were used ones, but upon contacting support they clarified that it is because they assemble the sofa as the last part of quality assessment.

I ordered a sofa corner from the company furni, the sofa is amazing, very good quality and good work. The fabric is very good and soft. I highly recommend the company furni.
