Our trip to the Galápagos Islands on the Calypso cruise was wonderful. We enjoyed the islands and all the intimate surroundings with wildlife and marine life. The he hikes were enjoyable, but our favorite part was the snorkeling. Thankfully we were able to do this everyday. The staff on Calypso was all fantastic and our guide Luis was so kind and full of knowledge. Our boat, Calypso, was nice, but not as well maintained as the pictures show. Our decision to schedule this trip was based on other reviews which raved about the Galapagos islands and this tour. I will say I was very disappointed with the lack of communication prior to this trip. I spent many lunch hours calling for questions to be answered and nobody ever responded. I sent emails and never a response until I sent in my remaining payment, I received a thank you almost immediately. All in all, the trip was great and I love sending positive reviews, but I’m sorry to say, the Galapatours communication is lacking to say the least.
