Terrible, overpriced product, it did work well until the software broke itself and after reinstalling Im having more issues.
I cannot recommend this product, and I definitely wouldnt recommend tobii for anything. bad support.

I have bought eye tracker 5
7 days ago and to this minute the order hasn’t been shipped yet
I tried calling the support via ticket or email
And both no answer no response nothing at all
Be careful this company not trustworthy
I confirm the post below, I returned the Eye Tracker 5 because it's not working well IMO and is painful for my eyes, it's been more than a month they received it, and still not refunded, or on the website they say they refund between 3 and 5 days after receiving.
I sent 4 mails and opened 1 new ticket, no answer. Totally ghosted.
I tried the product and couldn't get it to work correctly. That isnt the problem though as clearly many people love it. The problem is the return and customer support. I returned it on July 16th throiugh the proper returns process and I sent them the tracking details. When it arrived in Sweden it was held by customs (I sent on a tracked service using the correct HS code and value). I asked them to help get the item cleared as it is with Nordpost and I have never had a single reply from them. I sent 4 replies on the original email string, have opened 2 new tickets, have sent facebook messages and replied to posts asking for help and not once has anyone ever replied to me. 6 weeks later the return is still with Nordpost and I am opening a chargeback and sending all correspondence to my credit card company.
I dont understand why they have not replied to anything. They must get these returned all the time so if they contacted Nordpost they would be able to resolve any issue / questions straight away.
Tobii juger på produkt sidene sine så du skal tro at produktene er billigere enn de er.
Vedrørende fri frakt.
DHL (Du kan ikke velge leveringsfirma) tar over 200kr for "at de dekker importkostnadene".
I dette tilfelle så ble mine frakt avgifter for hva jeg bestilte (Et stykke metall) nesten like mye som selve produktet.
Totalt betalte jeg 60 Euro for varen (Et stykke metall uten elektronikk), og fraktkostnadene kom totalt på rundt 40 Euro.
Så totalt har jeg betalt 100 Euro for at et firma i Sverige skal sende meg et stykke metall som kostet rundt 5kr å produsere. Vilt.
Prøv TrackIR 5 i stedet, mye mer nøyaktig, og ingen skjulte kostnader.
The software and overall idea is good but the hardware is poorly made and does not last for a long time. Customer service is outsourced to China with very little understanding of the customer perspective..
I've sent them the package all the way to Sweden, at my own cost.
And more than a week waiting for the whole refund process to finish.
It would be nice if I didn't have to lose so much money (and time), for just refunding a product that wasn't even my fault it didn't work.
While the product is undoubtedly expensive, and I’m not entirely convinced it justifies the price, the performance itself is excellent. I primarily use it for Star Citizen and have previously experimented with head and eye tracking via a webcam, which was often cumbersome and unreliable. In contrast, once installed, this device operates seamlessly. It can be easily disabled with a single button for static activities like salvaging or mining and reactivated when needed for flight and combat.
What truly impressed me, however, was the delivery experience. I placed my order on Monday afternoon and received a DHL tracking number within an hour, noting that the shipment was coming from Sweden to the UK. Given potential customs delays, the company’s estimated delivery time of up to nine days seemed reasonable. To my surprise, the package arrived the very next day at 3 PM—an outstanding level of service!
If you like spending on pure dogsh*t,,, go for it ;)
Svarar ej på mejl eller telefonsamtal. Har väntat i flera månader och skickat flera mejl. Blev besvarad en gång endast när jag ringt upp närmre 10 gånger och ärendet löstes aldrig, inte heller blev jag kontaktad!!
I’m currently a nurse of someone who uses a Toby device. We had someone help us his name was Wade. He was so so patient and very helpful! I highly recommend him! He made everything so simple. I’m so happy that my client is able to use his device again. Thank you Wade!
My experience of receiving this (Tobii Eye Tracker 5) is a HUGE pleasure, It took them 3 days to get to my lan and as soon as I received it I had to try it out of course. It is super fine quality, nothing has been spared during their productions and it works 100% optimally, not so much as the only criticism of the product. It won't be the last time I shop from their website, on the contrary. Best Regards Benjamin
