I love the gem joy jewelry and experience! I bought a necklace for my grandchild several years ago and recently a bracelet for myself. Even years ago, it was made clear in the company’s description that an app was needed to enjoy this jewelry. One needs a smartphone to download an app. Even the online demonstrations show using a smartphone to view the displays, so I am at a loss to understand the low-star reviews that this as a problem. The company was also extremely timely in answering questions that I had initially.

Love these! I’ve purchased several now for myself and others as gifts. I had one issue where the product I ordered was incorrect when received. I contacted customer service, they rectified the situation immediately, promptly sending me the correct item. I even got to keep the incorrect item.
I do have a suggestion. I would love to see an owl! My favorite is the hummingbird. Whenever I wear it, I always have someone comment on what a lovely piece it is and they are so surprised when I open the app and show them just how special it is. Keep up the good work!

Bracelet broke refused to replace very poor quality. Waste of money

Ordered a gem Joy bracelet, 1 hour later I received an email saying the order was canceled upon my request (and I never canceled it) however money was deducted from my bank, then I received another email stating my card came up fraudulent which it wasn't I proceeded to use another card and the same thing happened even with a different account of mine they proceeded to take the money and stated they would send a refund that I still haven't received. Usually if a card is marked fraudulent the purchase wii be DECLINED and the funds never come out of your account, that wasn't the case with both of my experiences apparently the money was taken out of my account and then they canceled the order. Still waiting on both of my refunds. Be careful with this company never heard of such a transaction that's something marked fraudulent but they canceled it upon my request!! Yet still took the funds.

I give a 4 for the quality, but I wish I could give a 2 on the rest. While I love the concept I'm quite disappointed to learn you have to keep app open and on jewelry to work. I had hoped once activated it would LITERALLY be seen on the jewelry. But it doesn't work that way And I just bought a 2nd big deal sadly.

I am thrilled with such a magical experience. So are some of our special needs students. It is a great positive motivational tool. The bracelet arrived safely and was worth the wait. What a brilliant concept. And now, I get to be in the Gem Keepers club!

I use my gemjoy to cheer myself up. When I feel down, I like to watch the dragon. I am looking forward to scaring my work colleague with the spider, it's so cool when it jumps. It brightens my day.

I have purchased several GemJoy items - a couple for me, a few as gifts. They are unique, pretty, and magical. People notice and comment when I’m wearing them, and then they are so surprised when they see what they can do.

The app and updates are free and fun.

Things to work on: The watchband bracelet is easy to put on, but loosens throughout the day and needs adjusting. I fear losing it. The chain-like bracelet is pretty and holds, but it is really difficult to tighten & loosen. Communication takes time, which is difficult when you need questions/concerns addressed within the return window.

Love the look of the gem/crystal. I don't use the Gem Joy as much as I might because I have a hard time working both the gem & my phone at the same time. Does anyone have any suggestions??

Everything exactly as described. Nice packaging and prompt service too. I ordered one for my daughter, who absolutely loved it. Later on, I bought one for myself. I love that there’s no substitution fee and they keep adding new and engaging experiences. The only slight downside with my mesh bracelet is that the magnetic clasp slips as I move around during the day and I fear that I might lose it. Other than that, I love everything about it.

Fun, magical experience! I love that you can call forth a fairy, unicorn, butterfly, dragon and more all from your bracelet and phone. It brings fantasy to life. Also, as they add new creatures and experiences, it is included in your app, no extra charge or fee! It’s fun and simplistic.

I got a necklace from gemjoy and my grand kids lived it! They each had to have one so I got 4 more can’t Sat no to grand kids!!

I purchased a Gem Joy adjusta ble bracelet for my mom for mothers day about two years ago. I loved it so much that I bought the same bracelet of a different color for myself.
I love everything about it except the bracelet design. I will get there shortly. I love the many different animals real and fantasy. The color, the sounds are very detailed and vivid. The zen mode is my favorite not just for t'd buy the he many different touch interactions it involves but I play it for the music too. I could go on but I don't want to share all of the surprises too. And this is where I stop on the good parts of it and go into what I don't like.
I had trouble at the start with the type of bracelet that I bought both for the both of us. The 1st one I had broke due to the stiffness of the bracelet's design. I reached out to the creator and they replaced it without a problem. But sadly, the 2nd one did the same thing. I promise I am not rough with my jewlry especially as something at uniquely wonderful as this. didn't say anything the 2nd time becuase I would have felt it sounded "fishy" so I had a friend make it into it's own unique necklace.
Onto my mom's bracelet. Sadly she cannot wear hers. The tension on her bracelet was too strong to have any give for adjusting it to open and close ( the same troubles I had) that she plays with it before sleeping to relax with.
So a huge suggestion, get the magnetic bracelet instead. It will save a hassle. Who knows perhaps it was a fluke that we had so much trouble with ours. But I admit I wish I had purchased the other design.
I was thinking of giving it 4 stars rather than 5 but, the joy and wonder it gives out weighs the rest.

Robin J. I have 2 now it was easy to work with the company. The first one I bought the color wasn't what I expected and I was able to exchange it. I love showing them off. The looks of kids and adults is so cool. They appreciate the simplicity of the gem joy.

I love my gym, joy, bracelet, and desk topper, it brings a lot of joy and smiles to everyone as well as I use it for children who get lost to keep them entertained and calm. And when my mother was alive, we had lots of fun playing with it and taking different pictures and it made her very happy.

This item Is presented through false advertising and maybe bait and switch. Absolutely nowhere in the ad does it show that you have to use an app to view the image. The imsge just appears to float on the jewlery in the ads. I also blame myself for not reviewing this item more before buying it. So I am out $80.

I knew you had to download an app and look at your bracelet through your phone but just had to get one

I just wish they did a affiliate programme so I can help sell these global cause I would advertise mine and how it works everywhere on social media/ tik tok to boost your sales , i have given you 5 stars , something i have never seen before and totally blown away - well happy

I agree with the other disgruntled customers.
It's is a scam with a clever marketing tool
if you have no smart phone it is totally useless.
The images don't come from the phone they show on the screen of the phone.
If you hold it at the wrong angle you get lots of pretty little stars.
If you don't put it your wrist or hold it you get zilch.
