Just another way for a company to get email and phone number from you. YOU SHOULD STATE UP FRONT THAT ITS NOT ONLINE QUOTES before you ask for my contact.

This is an appalling service. It generated no suitable or relevant solutions merely generated now upwards of 50 calls
from unsolicited services and scams. I found my own move provider through big yellow storage who were able to recommend a local company that were fabulous. I will be putting this review on public websites to warn people from using your site. They claim to only share your data with the companies listed - this is not true! I only had 2 companies listed but yet received over 50 calls from totally irrelevant or unsuitable companies. I had specified a date that was only 3 days from the time I registered clearly stating it had to be that date - I am still getting multiple calls a day 2 weeks later despite emailing getamover to cancel/remove my details. Getamover customer service hasn’t responded to my emails or my multiple requests to remove my data and confirm who they have shared it with - shockingly bad.. would avoid at all costs whether your a provider or a customer as the matching is hugely flawed on both sides - upward of 50 contacts which don’t in any way meet my needs so a waste of everyone’s time and money.

Post Get a Mover response:
To repeat I have already contacted your customer service on the email you quote multiple times requesting my details to be removed and no response. Calls still coming.

To be clear the job I posted was for 3 days time ONLY so why if you were doing your job would I still be getting calls when that window closed weeks ago.

I am not overwhelmed I simply do not wish what is now over 100 unsolicited calls due to your dishonesty. You claim to have only shared with 2 providers which is clearly nonsense. Total lack of integrity and transparency. Your response is consistent with this attitude.

I signed up with this company to see how it worked, but it didn’t seem right to me, so I left after a short time.

About two weeks later, I received a £53 sign-up bonus voucher, which I redeemed. That’s when the problems started.

I never generated any leads, despite the company claiming that I did. Two weeks later, I received an invoice alleging that I had made numerous leads, even though I never clicked on anything or used the platform in that way.

A supervisor then called me and was extremely rude and arrogant. They removed me from the platform but still claimed I had generated these leads. In my opinion, these claims are completely unfounded, and no evidence has ever been provided to support them.

Overall, I had a very disappointing experience and would not recommend this company.

Getamover is awesome. They helped me get the company that handled my removals and they did it with ease!

I had never used this site before, but when moving decided to check out local removal firms and came across this site. I did use Gilbert & Holle who came through the site and was very satisfied with their service which was excellent.

However, it did suggest another firm who never contacted me and when checking them out they were located a long way from my home so would probably never have wanted to quote.

Good communication. On time. Great value. Dedicated team.

Real Removals and Installations Ltd
Avoid at all costs!
I booked this company for a removal back in March, with the move being arranged in early July. The details of the move were quickly exchanged, everything was agreed and I paid the deposit.
After the end of March, no communication was initiated by Real Removals.
I messaged mid-May, asking if everything was booked and on track and was told it would all be sorted the following week and I would be updated.
Except I received nothing from Real Removals the following week, or the week after.
I contacted the company again at the beginning of June but the mobile number was no longer available.
After searching on the internet, I managed to find another mobile number and called (no answer), then messaged.
I finally got a message back confirming that I would be sent the details "shortly".
I am still waiting for any further communication: my last few calls and messages are being ignored and the move is now in less than a month!
This company seems to be operating a scam (they still have my deposit but seem to have no intention of doing the work as they refuse any communication).
I am aware previous reviews are good (that is why I had chosen Real Removals originally) but they date from months ago and it seems the company has gone down hill and is no longer providing a trustworthy service.
Last time I checked, a recent review had been added, stating Real Removals' service as "shocking". I would go further as service is non-existent in my experience. Beware, this company is run by scammers.

A very good way to find a reliable moving company

Put me through to an amazing company that far exceeded any expectations.

AnyVan was recommended to me, I choose them and they were very good and did a great job.

My original removal firm was unable to do the move on the date required and so we had to quickly find another company. Getamover provided a selection of companies all able to do the move on the required day. Quick response with a good selection of removal firms.
