Simple process
STRESSFUL
I have recently used Kanda for the first time and complained to them regarding my purchase.
Id stated from the start and throughout that I suffered from physical and neurological chronic illnesses.
My complaint to Kanda about the company id purchased from was as follows -
Very Poor experience with the receptionist. The same information is continually repeated which were helping the communities in offering high standards.
Installers turned up 45 mins , parked in front of my drive, had to tell them to move as my car was parked on the drive and directly above was where the windows were being replaced. No dust sheets, feet coverings used. Carpets a mess vinyl kitchen & bathroom floors left in a mess & that was after i had to remind them to clean up. Rubbish included plastic blue squares, dust, bits. And a sharp blade left on floor. Roll of sticky back foam. The sweeping brush used outside hardly had any bristles. Overpowering smell of glue used, which should have been forewarned but was not. Sealant on my brickwork on the outside of my property has been left in a wiggly line, this is the same on my varnished windowsill inside my property. Not enough keys left as promised. High priority pane of glass in the bathroom, cant see out but can see in. I went through a finance company. I highlighted the issues when i was asked to sign off the payment with the finance company, management from the St Helen's branch very promptly replied reaching out to see if they could help. Spoke with the manager who was warm kind thoughtful patient and gave me time to explain, he said that he would give me further discount his word was his bond and that he would not like for his mother to be treated like this. Thy told me that Installers pick up the equipment for each job from the warehouse dust sheets should of been on the van, why were they not provided, why didn't they check and when arriving at a residential property, someones home why would they proceed if they didnt have the correct equipment? I never got a response from that that i was told i would get and that I asked for. He said that it was good to get negative and positive feedback and talk through it with the customer as it helps him learn and his business growth, he asked me to send photographs. He quickly regained my confidence, i was very pleased with his customer service. I received a response from sending my photos with the same manager via email. The manager couldn't see the problem and if i did not want any light coming in then i should of had a piece of pvc installed, id get another key and he would arrange to have the sealant cleaned up. Sometime later i spoke with the same manager, they had later thought that the pain of glass maybe in the wrong way round, which i was going to mention also. They said that no more discount could be given on the rest of the windows. I said that i wanted to tell my experience from start to finish, i stopped to take a breath & I was continually interrupted by a more irate overpowering me with his increasing tone, I was told that i interrupted them 4 times, when one person stops talking it is normal for another person to speak , that what normal people do. I told him that i was not a normal person. They replied I'm a business man not a carer. I began to cry, i told them that this is my life. They said that they didn't know what to do, i said im your customer and he should apply reasonable adjustments when speaking to someone with a disability. He also said that they don't receive payment for two weeks, yet the finance company said that was untrue. Anyway this was months ago i didn't hear back from them. It is now the responsibility of the finance company to sort out in the mean time i have to pay them.....More living has been paid. The stress for me continues.

Spoke with Kanda customer service agent was excellent, She said We did not allow abuse of our customers, the two weeks block on payment to the company I had bought from was untrue and saying that was a breach of contract, she asked for this managers name I said that i would get back to her. She was on holiday when i replied. i spoke to someone else who said that he would get back to me in two hours, this did not happen. 23rd oct - I Rang again days later I was told by another agent that a lot had happened and that the previous agent would email me back at my request, that email came through at 21.15 pm. Email stated that he would call me 24th oct with dates for the company to come to my home address and rectify mistakes. Nothing mentioned about breach of contract issue or abuse. Again no contact. 06th November Rang Kanda phone lines busy so I used chat box asking the complaints manager (by Name to call me back) NO response. 13th November 20.23 i an email to say that my ticket has been closed, thanks for interacting, helping our customers is important

I would be cautious about using the company. It’s only a broker that sells finance products for third parties. Always, get a loan from a Bank or Building Society.Recieved an answer from Kanda and was asking to address the service, generally speaking there is no service. Difficult to get on the phone, the automated response is ‘ we are very busy or there is no one to take your call’, then continues to say ‘we will call you back’ No request leave a message or phone number for the call back. They never do. So, service is very poor. I also do not understand that at the ‘Soft Application’ when rejected, they immediately offer you a possible loan of 11.9% and in the same breath, they claim the bank is not offering that any longer and tell you maybe able to apply for a loan at 14.9%.so from what is a interest free loan, it shoot’s up from 0% to 14.9%. I would not recommend this service. Go to the bank or building society!!

Great service. I was a little dubious about using Kanda as I had never heard of them before, however I had no need to worry. The service was so easy to use and we had arranged our finances in minutes. We would definitely use again
