Order was delivered on time

Order was delivered on time. Have not checked all the nuts. Quality looks good. Without testing nuts, I couldn’t make tick it five star at the moment. This is first ever time to deal with Ginco. I hope to continue buying products from them if the quality of the products and services are good in future as well. Thank you

I am a regular customer.

I am a regular customer.
Before this incident i had complained about the quality and packaging but Ginco didnt bother.
This time again the packets were all opened and half empty when I opened the parcel and my dry fruits were all over the box.
Complained to DPD as well.

I ordered 10kg of almonds

I ordered 10kg of almonds, they arrived today and straight away I weighed the product. Not 10kg as advertised but 9.3kg. I know that’s not a massive difference but it’s the orinciple of the matter. Disappointing.

Thanks for your business and review.
All our scales are calibrated and home weighing scales are not able to weigh bags of 10kg accurately. Intact we are so confident that if you can prove that the weight is actually less even by 10 grams we will refund you in full and you can keep the goods as well.
Now thats principle.

Our order was sent to an old address…

Our order was sent to an old address due to an issue with their payment system. The company acknowledged the system problem, but was unapologetic and refused to offer a refund or replacement. Admittedly, if I had checked the detail on their order acknowledgement email I would have spotted the error, so I would have accepted a compromise solution but they just ignored my emails.

I would like to clarify that there is nothing wrong with our payment system. We use Shopify, and all delivery details are entered directly by the customer. We do not have any control over that. The order was received on the 9th and delivered on the 10th to the address that was provided when the order was placed. We did receive an email to change the address on the 10th, but it was too late as the goods were already delivered.

Really impressed

Excellent quality of rococo beans and nuts. I was truly impressed. I had an issue and the customer service was prompt and helped resolving the issue. Will definitely recommend them and I look forward to buying more products from them.

Always great to do business with Ginco. The quality of their products was especially what drew me to becoming a regular customer. I used to be with Grapetree for years, but quality became an issue.
Slick ordering and processing has been second to none.

Serious Hygiene Issue – Stale and Insect-Infested Nuts

This was one of the worst food purchases I have made.
The walnuts and almonds smelled stale, and multiple pieces were infested with insects. Selling food in this condition is unacceptable and unsafe.
This shows a serious lack of hygiene and quality control.
I will not be buying from this store again.

Bad quality of cashews

Hello,
I ordered broken cashews abd whole cashews. On your website you promised that they are fresh stock
But the cashews i got to deliver was very bad quality. They are looking like very inferior quality.The cashews colour is in brownish and size also very small.
I trust your site and ordered first time and spent 75 pounds. Iam very much disappointed. I ordered 10 kgs if Quinoa, but that one also 250 gm less in weight.

The cashews you bought are small pieces which clearly mentions average quality and suitable for cooking, you cannot expect us to send you top quality without paying for the correct goods.
And you cannot use a home scale to weigh 10kg bag which is dangling in air and expect it to show correct weight.
All our weighing scales are calibrated and we often pul a bit extra.
Why have you not provided any evidence to us prior to writing this review.

Fantastic company, great service, great prices.

I've ordered several times now because there is nowhere better to buy nuts from, they are so fresh and of great quality. Their prices are great too. I had a problem with Royal Mail delivery once, the Ginco team dealt with it with good grace and reimbursed me for a damaged item immediately. It's hard to recommend this company enough!!

Highly Recommended

I have purchased from Ginco in the past and found their products to be top quality. They delivered swiftly and with no fuss. I bought psyllium husk this time and the same is true. I would highly recommend this company for people looking for premium quality wholefood products.

I ordered £67 worth of different types…

I ordered £67 worth of different types of nuts from this company. The delivery was prompt; the cashews and Almonds were good quality; we opened the walnut pack today and they were very bad quality with bad smell and taste. Wrote to the company and was told that our return policy is 14 days. Tried to get some sense into the chap saying that we ordered quite a lot of nuts and we can only tell you the quality once we have opened the pack. We cannot open the packs as they are sealed just to check the quality as the assumption was that they will all be good. I would have accepted at least 50% discount for the walnut on my next round of purchase but the company refused to engage after this saying they are unwilling to offer any credit note. I will NOT be buying from this company again or if I do I will be checking the quality of the goods straightaway. I have noticed down below their comment to another reviewer saying that they do no accept opened package - but didn't explain how is one supposed to check for the quality. I encourage to ring your credit card company in such instances and open a dispute which could result in the credit card company issuing refund.
