Glory box is a scam in Hong Kong, keeps taking money out of my account Barclays are useless not blocking them

You think you’re buying something but instead “subscribe” to having large amounts taken forever after. It doesn’t matter if you cancel this hidden subscription straight afterwards.
BARCLAYCARD do NOT CONSIDER THIS FRAUD and even cancelling and reissuing card will not stop it. Blocking does not prevent money coming out. They advise you to contact the scammer and ask them to stop taking payments as the only way out!!!
The only way to stop money being withdrawn is to switch credit card companies altogether.
BTW B’card does not allow customer complaints, only an internal procedure at their discretion…
I just found all this out after 4 full months of wrong advice from B’card, so GET SCAMMED AND BE STUCK FOREVER AFTER, you are warned.

Total scam company - bought shoes on instagram which arrived but since then a ‘subscription’ of £49.99 has been taken from my account, which I certainly didn’t sign up for ! My bank is processing a reversal now. Don’t touch this company !

SCAM!!! I saw a children’s toy advertised for £6.99 but as soon as I checked out I saw an email saying I’ve signed up for this service subscription. I ordered 2 of them and when I ordered the 2nd one it signed me up to a different website (I didn’t realise until after)

Ordered an item from them on February 3rd for $29.95. Two weeks later a further $77.09 was deducted from my bank account. Same story as the other reviewers, they told me it was the subscription I signed up for by not responding to an email they sent me. They never sent such an email and could never produce it when I requested it. I cancelled my ‘subscription’ but didn’t trust them so blocked my card and ordered a new one. On top of this criminal unauthorised access to my personal funds, they never supplied the product. A $100 lesson for me. This ‘company’ is a total sham. I’ve tried to leave a review on their website but they’ve blocked negative reviews (which is why I never saw your stories before committing my hard earned money).

Total scam. Advertise dresses in AUS$, don’t deliver the product, withdraw in USD which almost doubles the price for Australians. Somehow they then withdrew a further USD49.99 as a membership for gaming/IT products without consent. Total scam. DO NOT deal with this scam. They advertise on Facebook!!!!!!!!

I have emailed them twice in 14 days however they decline to respond. After taking 6.99 for goods Ie,lap top table, they took a further 24.99 from account 2 days later.I believe this to be a recurring subsciption.24.99 has been credited back to account after raising dispute with bank about transaction.The goods have not been
recieved. 17 days. After careful research the Company labites is linked to other companies Gloryboxed.com madethings.com. Gloryboxed.com is based in Cyprus telephone number 0115 is based in Nottingham and routed through Ireland.
Trust pilot gives reviews of this scam others have experienced. They use labites to front fraudulant transactions. Good honest working people are scammed unknowingly in to a recurring monthly subscription. A lot of hassle trying to get refund or cancel subcription and the goods do not arrive either. SCAMMERS BEWARE. How many people experience this scam at £30 a hit they are duping many vunerable people. Scum of the earth

SCAM. This company lure you in to buy an 'item' when you think you are ordering you are really signing up to a subscription, they then debit your bank account multiple times, fraudulently claiming this is for a 'subscription' for electronic goods. Scam operators! Frausters! BEWARE OF THIS SCAM!

Scammed into subscribing after ordering a mirror from a website on Facebook called Labite.com . Received no confirmation email from labite.com only an email from gloryboxed.com thanking me for subscribing . I then checked my bank and the £6.99 i thought I was buying a mirror with was in fact used to buy this subscription fraudulently. Contacted gloryboxed and they refused to refund me but would cancel my subscription. Absolute scam of a company

I was tricked into signing h up for a regular subscription when I attempted d to make an online purchase.

The company now say they have cancelled my account.

I have cancelled the membership, they still deduct the money from my bank account, without any email to mention it, when I checked the bank account and found this problem, they replied said "This is a system-generated promotional offer and you are one of the lucky customers to avail of the service for a discounted price. We understand your discontentment with the transaction and apologise for any inconvenience, but please know that we don’t want you to miss this opportunity to avail this discounted price of our membership."
Definitely is a fraudulent website.
