Hen weekend party
Using gohen was a massive help for me with my maid of honour duty. Everything is in one place, you can choose many different activities to do for your weekend. We chose cocktail making, school sports day and a meal at the cosy club, all of which were amazing. Everyone had so much fun being a party of 14. Stephanie was very helpful, responded to any questions that I had and was able to change the day and timing of one of the events to accommodate us. Using the app was helpful, all the hens were able to pay individually through the app and able to make instalments easily. A very good weekend had by all and would highly recommend to use gohen to book your hen or stag party.

Great service!
The company provided many activity options to choose from at a great price. They were extremely helpful with all the queries we had and sorted everything within a fast time frame. Would recommend to anyone organising a large group event abroad.

Ellie was a great planner, she made our weekend brilliant from start to finish. Nothing was too much trouble and she answered any queries we had. Couldn't of planned it better from cocktail making to mini golf, our bride to be was over the moon with the whole weekend

Rip off for what you receive (no logistical awareness and poor venue choices)
The Hen house itself was wonderful and lovely (Bristol country) but the package we paid for in general was a total rip off.
We had a Bottomless brunch, Dance Class, and 'bottle' + club entry package included. We were excited but they didnt let the MOH/Bride choose any venues, we were just told where we were going with no chance to feedback on this.
And basically they sent us to a really really divey pub for the bottomless brunch, like no atmosphere, hardly anyone there, no music. And the servers were not at all prepared to have 20 women and did not know how to make cocktails. It was really odd.
As for the dance class they booked us on, they did not allow any transport time in our itinerary, so our brunch was 1-3pm with the Dance class at 3pm. The instructor didn't allow us to be late for this. So Groupia/GoHen didnt bother checking that it was a 20-30min cab ride into town. Poor logistical management entirely.
Then the 'bottle and club' package was at a random Revolutions in Bristol, very generic, not at all appropriate for a nice Hen do and not at all what we wanted so we skipped it entirely.
Also just to say we received no money back even though it was entirely their fault that they A. Booked us onto a brunch that was absolute shambles and B. Booked us onto a Dance class that did not allow ANY time for us to transit there.

Had we been made aware at the time, we would have welcomed the opportunity to work toward a resolution for your group.
We see that a feedback form was sent to your lead organiser and followed up on multiple times, but we did not receive a response. Unfortunately, without timely feedback, we were unable to address any concerns at the time.
Regarding the venue choices, these are based on availability at the time of booking. However, all inclusions and details are outlined in the quotes and booking confirmations before finalising the event. If specific venue requests are made, we always do our best to accommodate them. After reviewing our correspondence with your lead organiser, Kelly, we found that minimal questions were asked, and no specific requirements were communicated to us. Based on this, we proceeded under the understanding that your group was satisfied with the quote and its inclusions.
We're also sorry to hear that your brunch experience did not meet expectations. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention, and we will be revisiting the venue to ensure it meets our standards.
Regarding the dance class venue, we can see that upon receiving the venue confirmation, your Event Manager reached out to Kelly to offer an alternative time of 15:30 to better accommodate travel. The intention was to check that this change wouldn’t impact any external bookings you had made. Unfortunately, we did not receive a response. Since then, we have implemented additional training to ensure that necessary adjustments are proactively made when appropriate, and we appreciate your feedback on this matter.
Once again, thank you for sharing your thoughts and we’re truly sorry that your experience did not fully meet expectations on this occasion.

Go hen was brilliant, so organized helped me massively, brilliant customer service and quick repossess, Natalie was brilliant and helped a lot, if your planning a hen or a party I would definitely recommend. Made the whole process so easy and fun. Took away the stress.

Easy Experience
Stephanie was our go to through gohen. She always replied promptly to any questions I had. It made a normally stressful experience so much easier. I would definitely recommend booking through go hen.

Go Hen and in particular, Luke have been brilliant. Luke found us a perfect apartment and a list of activities that covered all our needs. We were very fussy as we have a variety of different ages coming on the hen (and a couple of pregnant girls too!). He was quick to reply every time I messaged or called. Got everything set up and arranged and then we had not one, not two but three drop outs. In the same day, he managed to keep all plans the same, with no extra cost. Panic and stress free. Highly recommend!

GoHen’s Third Party is Misleading
What baffles me is the third-party deposit system. If you’ve paid a protection fee to protect your deposit should you need to cancel an event, why is this not honoured?
GoHen was not a good experience for our group. Although it was by no fault, that one of the activity suppliers closed in Manchester, the alternatives offered were rather disappointing. To say we were offered karaoke or dance classes for the equivalent of the rollerblading and cocktailing was just poor - and did not fit value for money for what we were initially quoted.
It was only after pushing for other alternatives, we were then half-heartedly sold the promise that we could potentially have Bingo Lingo.
Whilst the company did manage to secure this activity and reduced the cost to £188 from our initial £204 quoted price, I’m finding the deposit policy just a little baffling.
I have paid for a protection fee - and was told that this is not looked after by Groupia but instead a third party who have their own T&Cs. I have been redirected to a third party (Refundable) which has no contact details nor does the website itself look legitimate, and does not provide me the option to refund my deposit. This is the part where I feel misled by Groupia as if I’ve paid to have my deposit protected - and this is unable to be fulfilled - why would I pay for a protection fee in the first place? I was sold on the premises that their service is fully transparent and your money is protected. I’d understand if I’d not paid for a deposit protection fee or cancelled after the event deadline but this event was cancelled a month before the payment deadline.
I’m going to be taking this complaint forward as I just don’t think this is right. I don’t like that it feels I have been almost pushed aside.

We understand it’s frustrating when a supplier closes unexpectedly and that it can significantly impact plans. While we always strive to provide alternatives that match the value and enjoyment of the original activities, we recognise that preferences and expectations vary from group to group.
Regarding Bingo Lingo, this venue was in the process of opening a Manchester location, so the delay was simply due to awaiting confirmation of their opening dates. Once this was confirmed, we were happy to include Bingo Lingo in your package complimentary as a gesture to address your disappointment and we reduced your package price accordingly.
We also explored other options for you, including offering to switch destinations to one that had a roller disco available. However, we understand you chose to proceed with cancellation instead.
In terms of the payment protection policy, we’re sorry for any confusion or frustration this caused. The protection is managed by a third-party provider, The Protect Group, and is designed to cover clients in the event they are unable to attend due to unforeseen circumstances. We do our best to make this process clear at the time of purchase by sharing the company name, an overview of the coverage, and a link to their terms and conditions for full details. For your convenience, the terms can be accessed here: https://www.refundable.me/groupia/
The Protect Group operates an online portal where claims can be submitted using your reference number and a reason for cancellation. Claims are typically reviewed within 24 hours. Your Event Manager has already emailed you with detailed instructions for the claims process. If you encounter any difficulties or need further guidance, please don’t hesitate to contact us at 01225 474 200, and we’ll gladly assist you.
Once again, we’re very sorry for your disappointment and the challenges you experienced. We truly appreciate your understanding that supplier closures are beyond our control, and we hope we have addressed any remaining concerns to your satisfaction. Groupia was a great way to book the hen…
Groupia was a great way to book the hen party, easy enough for us to all look after our own payments without the headache of chasing everyone, plenty of emails and texts advising of dates for payments and a full itinerary set for the hen weekend. Natalie was so nice and very helpful too.

Their team was wonderful to work with, and their ideas were fresh and exciting. They helped us select a beautiful venue that fit our budget, and the decor they provided was absolutely stunning. Every detail was thoughtfully planned, from the food to the entertainment. On the day of the event, their team was on-site to handle everything, which made the experience so much more enjoyable for us. We received so many compliments from our guests! Everything about the process was easy, any questions I had Ellie was available to answer which also made the stress of planning the hen do a lot less.
