I purchased 3 pairs of glasses 2 were ok but one pair the coating misted over could not see through them . Contacted them twice but no reply from them will not buy from them again

Bought a pair from them in March 2024, frames broke after 4 months, asked for replacement or refund, denied both. Buyer beware - buy cheapish, paid £55, get cheap shoddy made glasses. I will be checking to see if they have broken any consumer laws.

I purchased several pair of glasses and a few of them were mailed to me as readers in designer frames. They said I ordered them that way. I don’t feel I did because I wear bifocals and several of the glasses were correct. They agreed to correct them for an additional fee that I paid. I became sick ( no fault of theirs. )
When I contacted them after recovering. I was told they couldn’t correct the glasses and they kept my money as well.

Horrible, seller claims to be in the U.S. but somehow has to ship from overseas. Website claimed 10 to 16 days for shipping, never received the item after a month, seller never provided a tracking number and declined to respond to my email until the Better Business Bureau got involved and contacted them. THEN, magically, seller was able to respond. Which is too late, already purchased elsewhere. Avoid at all cost unless you don't mind wasting time and money.

Added my prescription and purchased 3 pairs of glasses, what turned up was something that resembled looking through the bottom of a wine bottle, after significant back and forth via email I got fed up and had to remind these people of UK distance selling laws for them to agree to a return, (which was not free for faulty items I might ad) I do not recommend this company they are cheap for a reason and will try to gaslight the customer!

I have purchased various pairs of glasses from this company for many years. I would guess for over 15 years. I used to buy 2 pairs at a time, 1 each eyeglasses & sunglasses. The first 2 or 3 sets as above were excellent, good quality, reasonable lead-time & lasted for multiple years (3-4-5). I would reorder when my eyes got worse or I broke them. The last 2 or 3 years I decided to buy Transition glasses so I only needed 1 pair that are used for both eyeglasses & sunglasses. The 1st pair seemed to have the wrong prescription. I offered to send them back but Googles4U refused & just sent a new replacement pair. The replacements were fine. After a year or so I was having trouble seeing out of them, which seemed somewhat weird. I sent an email & also looked online to ask if the Transition glasses prescriptions fade or die after a certain amount of time. Googles4U, nor the internet, knew what I was talking about so I figured I must have just damaged them. I ordered another Transition pair on a Rush deal. They were fine but within a month or 2 the nose pad (covers) started falling off. I did not notice it was such a strange design. The nose pieces have slip-on covers. I was lucky to find these covers the first 2-4 times they fell off. I emailed Googles4U to see if I could buy an extra 6-8 of these covers. They are not available. In fact, the glasses are also no longer available on the site. Googles4U is making me another pair of Transition glasses to replace this defective designed pair. I am now a bit concerned with their quality so I decided to go back to my old way and order 2 pairs (eyeglasses & sunglasses) for back up. I went on the website to order and went to put in the code. I hit apply and the @#$%^&& pictures of .... whatever came up so I could 'pick' the light or bus or fire hydrant. These things are STUPID!!!!! I need glasses, I can not look at picture set after picture set after picture set hoping that eventually these picture sets actually stop so I will be 'blessed' to be able to purchase from your company. Instead, I closed the window and went to a competitor. FYI to any company that uses the things, they are worthless, hard to see and impossible for most older or poor vision people on a cell phone. You lose business because of this stuff. Anyway, as far as lead time goes, which some people complain about, I have never had a problem. Of course, I have a brain, so I actually order things before said things become an emergency, giving myself plenty of lead time.

In summary, the first 6 or so pairs of glasses I bought from Googles4U were excellent and I told many eyeglass wearers about this excellent company. They had good prices, good quality, good service & the product was durable. The last few years I have had issues with every pair of glasses I bought. The website is poor, the quality seems to be going downhill and I am not nearly as positive on the company as I had been. In fact, I asked on Chat if the company had different ownership because the company seem like a different business nowadays. On the positive side I will say that the company has very good Customer Service. Googles4U answers emails, usually next day or so and they have always stood behind their products. I just wish the quality was as good as it had been previously, when I never needed service because the product was good. I may try them again only because of the old days but I am losing interest in doing business with this company.

My glasses were so bad that specsavers examined them and said they were not to the specification of my provided prescription, one lens had a hollow in it and no prism, upon complaint i got no help and it became clear they are not english company, stay away

Shocking aftercare. Sent me the frames and the lenses were fine. Shortly after receipt the nose piece fell off and then the part of the arm that covered the ear fell off! I have used these beo9fre and they were very good but they may have changed hands, or farmed off a lot of their business to a third world country and the standards are shocking. They emailed offering to replace the product, nothing turned up and not responding to emails. Avoid like the plague!!!

They claim to be a UK company but production is in Thailand, ordered glasses 10 days ago and they have told me I will not get my order for a minimum of 2 more weeks.
The shipping policy does state this if you look before ordering but this is a long time to wait for prescription glasses. Website is clunky but works OK. They bombard you with marketing emails too.

My chosen glasses were exactly as pictured and described. Price was amazing over 60% cheaper than all the high street opticians. The process was simple and straight forward. Online I provided my prescription and chose my extras and they made my glasses and posted them to me within a week. Geat service and super fast delivery. 10/10.

Stay away from. Ordered the 4th. Supposedly mailed the 9th. Now the 27th and still don’t have. Other places as cheap and better!!

1st two pairs of glasses where great then the next two where terrible.
The 3rd pair came with the wrong prescription, it was filled in exactly the same as the previous two orders. I was advised that it was my error and had to pay again to get them sent out again with the correct prescription. When the replacement pair arrived they where fine but 6 weeks later i put them on in the car where they had been kept for night time driving.
The lenses where now distorted in some way and the glasses couldn't be used at all. When I contacted support I was given the run around for several emails to be finally told a month later that the warranty for the glasses was only for 15 days (lol) and I would have to pay for them for the third time.
A very bad customer service expertise and will not use them again

Wouldn't even give them one star. Cheap looking frames, slow to deliver. When I enquired about my order was told they were on their way from Thailand...what...I thought I was dealing with a UK company as they give themselves a UK address, never again.

I bought 3 pairs of glasses and was initially pleased with them. However, within a few weeks they all started to fracture and crack around the nose bridge area through just normal wear. I complained to Googles4U and they were not interested at all. Their attitude is 'we have a 15-day warranty' and after that it's tough. So if you want a cheap pair of glasses for a month, go ahead, otherwise go elsewhere. Very disappointed as initially I thought they were a good company, if a little slow to deliver (2 weeks).

My wait for my glasses has been too long. I was needing to get used to glasses before next eye Dr appt. They were sent all over the Northwest, never went to my post office. Their mail carrier is questionable. Customer service still hasn't called me back after 24 hrs. Called on Thursday. Now it's the weekend....still waiting.

Have dealt with them twice and the have been very good both times. I'd accidently given them the wrong prescription (missed off the minus on the prescription) and they replaced the glasses free of charge. Specs cost about the 6th of the price of some other places, I'll continue to use them again and again. Excellent!!

I have been using these guys for a long time.Lately I have had a prescription sunglasses because I have eye problems from Diabetes. I stood on 2 pairs by accident in the last week but that's because I am clumsy. What can anybody expect from glasses for £6.95 and then have the UV tint and the choice of sunglass Colour. yes some of them are just plastic but my orders recently are metal frames and they have modern shapes and they look cool.I have never had a problem with wrong orders
or delays. I can't fault them.

The glassses they provide are very good value for money and if do have issues are quick to sort things out

Ordered glasses from this company paid extra for anti scratch coating had them a day and noticed a mark on the lens, contacted Googles4u to complain, and sent a photo of the mark,that was a week ago no reply, avoid these people, think I’ll stick to Specsavers
