Buy in person not online
Great shop and products BUT I would only ever buy in person and not online again. Having admired their beautiful plants for ages on Insta, I finally ordered some at the end of last year, only to be a bit disappointed. My snake plant has no markings on it at all and the dragon scale, although in the advertised sized pot, was small with only 5 leaves (the photo on the website was a better established plant with 10 leaves, some large). If you buy in person though then you’ll know exactly what you’re getting!

Regarding the Snake Plant, it seems we sent you the wrong version. Please send us a picture via email or IG and we’ll send you out the correct one. Regarding the Dragon Scale, all I can do is apologise. It would seem that you received the last of the batch, aka the runt of the litter, and was therefore a little smaller than the one pictured. We can refund you a few pounds to make up for this, if that works for you?

Delivery issues and poor communication..
I ordered two large and two small poinsettia for Christmas presents. Unfortunately there was a problem with the delivery, which meant instead of receiving my plants 24hrs after despatch (Wednesday) they arrived on Sunday and the box was in a state. These things happen, but I am giving 2 stars as I've had no response from Gravel Pit from either of the emails I sent. I emailed Gravel Pit and DHL both before the plants were eventually delivered and then again with photos after they were delivered and had no response either time. The two larger plants were broken and all of the leaves fell off and one of the small ones did the same. The other small one survived, but was a different variety to what I had ordered.

Hi Amanda, all I can say is sorry for everything that’s happened to you. As you mentioned the order was shipped on Wednesday and should have arrived to you the following day. Being in transit that long will have caused the plants to wither. Poinsettia hate cold conditions and dark environments! This is obviously a DHL issue, so we have contacted them and expect a reply and refund shortly.
We apologise for not replying to you. The influx of orders during the holiday period meant we were inundated with emails and we obviously missed your email. Our apologies again. We will refund you full amount you spent on plants and postage and hope you have a fantastic 2022.
