Check before you pay
This company cut down two and topped another two mature conifer trees at my elderly father’s property in the w/c 14 th July. I visited on the following weekend and discovered that not all the tree debris had been removed and there had been a poor attempt to hide the remaining branches on the fence line.
What was more disturbing was that one of the topped trees had been left in a dangerous condition with a large cut but hanging branch left suspended.
I got in touch via one of the mobile phone numbers shown on the website and although the job was acknowledged, it was stated that an employee had had a serious accident at work and that they would remedy the situation when they could.
Ten days later, the dangerous hanging branch is now down but no sign of any debris removal, I redial the same mobile phone number, to which I initially get no acknowledgement of the works carried out or an update on the injured employee. The penny then dropped that they had been “found out” and I was told in no uncertain words to go away.
The moral of this sad event:
If you ever intend to use this company,
DO NOT PAY UNTIL YOU ARE SATISFIED THEY HAVE COMPLETED THE JOB.
