Dear Natalie,

I am sorry to hear that you lost your security deposit but unfortunately you have been misled somewhere, the caterer could not provide us with an inventory of items brought to our venue neither did they check the items when collecting them. There is no evidence of either the cups and saucers ever being in the building in the first place nor that they went missing, it was just the caterers word. We still however continued to try and cooperate yet after much searching including of all staff members nothing was located and the decision was made that we cannot take liability for something when no fault of own can be proven. I am sorry you feel accusations have been made by us but the same has occurred to us with no evidence. The caterer is responsible for their own equipment and no steps were taken to make sure proper records were kept and the finger cannot be pointed at our staff when basic steps were not taken by the caterer themselves. I am more than willing to support you further with the caterer in order to receive your security deposit.

The departure of our wedding organiser again is misleading and was an organisation decision and we now have a different member of staff coordinating our weddings.
