I ordered from them recently for the first time and couldn't fathom how people enjoy the food. It (I tried the cashew ma and greens and later the tofu cabonara and lost my appetite) tastes so plain – where is the seasoning?
I felt like I was on a low sodium diet or something. Only positive was their garlic bread, but thats incredibly hard to mess up. They did have small amounts of butter on their garlic bread and the cuts into the bread were small, but other than that, it was ok.

I understand that they are trying to be healthy, however, Planty is healthy and they dont lack flavour either.

I reached out to them for a refund and they refused to refund me. Only gave me credits to buy more of their tasteless food...

We've been with grubby almost a year now, and it has been an absolute revelation for us. I think the biggest stumbling block to eating plant based is knowing what to cook and this solves that problem. Also the customer service is top.

What a fantastic 5* company.that I can definitely recommend. Gorgeous recipes which are very easy to follow with lots of different ideas. You then keep all the recipe cards with the beautifully presented book. It’s fun, exciting and great for children learning how to cook healthy vegan food. Also packed neatly in an eco friendly paper bag. And lastly a big big thank you to LILY who really helped me with my difficult order she especially went the extra mile.

As a vegan, travelling a lot for work, trying to decide what to cook each night is a chore - but I love cooking! Grubby takes care of the decisions and everything we’ve had so far has been quick to make and ridiculously good!! My husband has a wheat allergy, and it’s great that we can just exclude wheat, instead of him having to choose a fully gluten free option.

Wide range of vegan recipes that are nutritionally balanced without you having to do your homework; mostly easy to cook and reliably delivered. They are also generally delicious! Our only complaint is that occasionally the recipe cards are missing. Although you can find them online I like to have a hard copy in front of me.

We have been receiving Grubby recipe boxes for several months now and are very pleased with everything we have had so far.
The opportunity to try a wide range of vegan recipes without the effort of having to acquire the ingredients is well worth the cost.
A couple of issues we have had have been dealt with rapidly and professionally.

Just hit 20 boxes from Grubby. I’ve been so pleased with the recipes. They’re so easy to follow and have really extended my cooking abilities. Their food always tastes good and is easily adaptable (for example if you don’t like things too spicy). Delivery is always reliable and left in a safe place. When I’ve needed to contact customer service, they were very helpful and understood what I needed immediately.

The food at Grubby really is so tasty and portion size and variety of choice are very good. There is however a constant issue with items being missing from our box. Although when reported, the appropriate refunds are promptly processed, we order Grubby for convenience. It’s so frustrating to start cooking, only to realise we need to pop to the shops yet again. This is frustrating and disappointing and is not improving sadly.

i have been using grubby now for a while and am so pleased to have found a company that actually are as good if not better than they say they are. very well packaged, good instructions and most of all very high quality ingredients. always using new healthy products in their meals. really good choices and always something new to have every week. im sticking with you grubby.....thank you

Amazing customer service. If I had any issues with my box, such as a vegetable getting damaged during delivery, they gave me a refund and sent me another box. I also took a break from deliveries for a few weeks because I wanted to make some recipes from my cookbooks. But when I emailed to ask for a copy of an old grubby recipe( no longer on the website) they still took the time to find the recipe I wanted and send me the pdf! So lovely x

I love Grubby and I'm not even vegan! I signed up to increase my veggie intake and the recipes are so healthy and varied, portion sizes are great and the quality of the ingredients is to a really high standard. Subscription is so flexible too so I just skip weeks when I need to.
I stopped using Grubby for a short while when I was diagnosed with Coeliac disease but Grubby has a setting where you can select allergens/gluten free requirements so I'm back on it now! 🙌

Great quality and portion size. We are not vegan, but absolutely love the recipes and we haven't found one yet that we have not enjoyed.

I live alone and (before Grubby) I found choosing recipes, shopping for ingredients, prep and loooong recipes exhausting!
With Grubby I get 3 recipes per week and divide them into 6 meals, leaving me one night a week for a takeaway or meal out with friends. I feel healthier and happier as Grubby does all the hard work so I don’t have to!

Delicious meals and a wide selection of recipes to choose from. Easy to manage ordering in the app and deliveries are good with regular updates. Highly recommend!

Relatively new to Grubby and the first week had an issue with some of the fresh produce which had frozen in transit . I had a very quick response and had £10 added to my account for future purchases. Subsequently not had further issues and been delighted with the freshness, taste, portion size and variety of choice. Would definitely recommend and also would add that the company are very keen to receive feedback and improve the service which is highly recommendable and appreciated.

Nice choice of vegan meals . Usually very tasty I've had some not so keen on but that's down to personal taste. Lovely recipe cards with easy to follow instructions. Usually quite quick to make.

The meals are delicious. Some issues with the freshness of the ingredients but customer services are really good and get things sorted quickly.

The range of recipes is brilliant, the price point and choice are spot on. I’ve never bought into a recipe box for so long without getting bored! They’re just great.

Great variety of recipes and so much tastier than expected. Not all in the house are vegan but they are always happy if it’s a ‘grubby’ for dinner. Really helpful service for the rare time there is any issue too. I feel well looked after and well fed!
