Gutters are important, but human life is not.
My name is Jack (my middle name), and you can also find me mentioned in other reviews. I worked at this company as a crew lead installing and cleaning gutters with my team. I am sharing this strictly based on my personal experience and what I directly witnessed so others can make informed decisions. From my experience, this company presents itself as a professional and established business, but what I saw while working there was very different. I had serious and ongoing concerns about how jobs were actually being performed, including the quality of materials, the equipment being used, and the overall standards of work. In my opinion, the level of pricing charged to customers did not match the quality and reliability of the materials and workmanship being provided. Another major issue was how work was rushed. There was constant pressure to complete jobs as quickly as possible, which, in my experience, negatively affected the quality of the work being delivered. It often felt like the focus was not on providing a proper and reliable service, but simply on completing the job and collecting payment from the customer. In addition, when problems occurred or customer complaints came in, I observed situations where workers’ pay was affected, which created even more pressure and concern among the crew. One of the most serious issues was safety. During gutter installation and cleaning, basic safety precautions were often not followed. I raised these concerns multiple times, but they were consistently ignored or dismissed. I personally witnessed a coworker fall from a ladder and suffer an arm injury. From what I observed, the situation was not handled with the level of care or responsibility that would normally be expected after a workplace accident. Incidents like this are serious and should never be treated lightly. Situations like this can create real risks not only for workers, but also for homeowners where installation or cleaning is being performed. When proper safety measures are not taken, it can affect everyone involved in the project. This is something people should carefully think about. The work environment itself was also extremely challenging. There were ongoing issues with communication and the general treatment of workers, which created constant pressure and an uncomfortable atmosphere on a daily basis. Over time, this became a major reason why I no longer wanted to be part of the company. When I decided to leave, the situation escalated further. I experienced what I felt were highly inappropriate and concerning comments regarding my personal information, which made the process of leaving very stressful and uncomfortable. After I left, I did not receive my final paycheck, which added to my concerns regarding how employees are treated and compensated. Overall, based on everything I personally experienced and witnessed, I strongly recommend that anyone considering working with or hiring this company take the time to carefully evaluate their safety practices, professionalism, work quality, and payment reliability. These are serious concerns that should not be overlooked or underestimated.

Sam and Bill did a fantastic job. Not only do I have new gutters that look great, but they left the work space much cleaner than they found it. Great work at a good price. You can’t ask for more than that!

They did a great job on my gutters that had not been cleaned in some time. They were very thorough and manually cleaned areas that did not blow out. I had several clogged downspouts that they made sure were cleaned out. I highly recommend them.

This is a good company
Gutters Matter cleaned the gutters of my very old home. I have no idea when they were last cleaned. I was so happy with the results. They took before and after pictures and during the cleaning process I saw how much accumulated leaves and dirt were blown out. Marvin made a point of showing me a downspout extender that wasn’t working. I knew there was a problem but I appreciated him pointing it out as well.
