Best customer service I've had in a long time. I was pleased with my table when it arrived, but unfortunately the top had been damaged in transit. I was worried, but a real person emailed me right back and I was quickly given several options for how to deal with the problem, all of which were very fair. I'm so used to getting the run-around from US companies, where every issue is an exhausting slog...this whole thing was refreshing.

Extremely happy for the quality of the item. The wood is high quality. The packaging and the way was delivered I can say is very high level.
I don’t give 5 stars because delivery was extremely exhausting. I’ve order the bed almost 5 month ago, and received last week. However I have to say customer service was promptly helping and answering to my query during the all time.
Very satisfied by the product.

The quality of our bed was just extraordinary and for at least 50% of the price of others brand !
The wood, the shapes, the design, the finish, everything was just perfect! Out bed was extremely well packed and protected and it was such a pleasure to mount it - Woodwork at its finest.

It's true, our order took a bit longer than expected. But maan... It was sooo worth it!

We're so happy with it that we're ordering again and we'll probably order more over time.

If you value quality and want something you're gonna keep for a looong time, this is the place!

Ordered shelves on 18 April 2025, received this week 2 Dec 25. After they delayed our order four times over the summer I told them to cancel, and here is the reply I got "Please allow us to check with the factory once more — often when we tell them that a client wishes to cancel, they are able to locate the delayed model." So you basically have to threaten to cancel for them to fulfill your order. Then on 21 September 25 we were informed that items had shipped, and they sent us a link to a cargo ship tracker, not a tracking number, etc. - a cargo ship tracker - it became a family joke to grab a glass of wine and see where our shelves were at - mid Pacific, Panama Canal, dodging a hurricane? The items finally landed in NY in early November and took another month to arrive at our house. All the instructions were in Chinese, not even an attempt to put them in English or give us a QR code to scan to get them in English. Yes and one item was completely damaged, not even going to try and return it. You have been warned if you buy from this company.

Product was received in perfect condition. Very well packaged. Good support via email with updates and heads up.

I ordered a TV stand and a tea/coffee cabinet, and wow — they exceeded expectations. Gorgeous design, solid wood, flawless condition, and they arrived like they were hand-delivered from a showroom. The delivery was smooth and professional, and the customer service? Absolutely stellar. They kept me updated every step of the way and handled my questions with care and precision. I would buy from them again.

Shipping experience has been very poor. I still have not received my order. I placed an order on August 5, 2025 and still have not received my order. It has been 10 weeks and no delivery. Very disappointed with the shipping service. The customer service is responsive and nice. However, the shipping times have made my experience very poor with Gvawood. I am hoping Gvawood will make things right with my order.

UPDATE:

When the order arrived, I noticed some scratches and chips on the nightstand. When I reached out to customer service, they offered a partial refund for the items. Although the shopping experience was not the best, customer service was excellent.

If you are prepared to wait the published time then you hopefully will be as happy as we are today. Superb quality little dressing table which we needed for an 85cm space. Arrived in perfect condition. Very well packed and then in its own crate. Solid leg fittings easily added. It looks super. Really pleased and a couple of lovely delivery guys doing a great job in the dark.

Ordered a walnut table. Did come in solid wood as advertised with big beefy M8 bolts to screw it together. Tracking was a bit dubious and it suddenly appeared at my house while at word.

I made two big purchases from this company. One arrived in great condition and with no hiccups, but the other was lost in transit for 8 months (despite their 5-6 week shipping guarantee) and then 1/3 parts was delivered to the wrong house. After a LOT of back and forth I had to make arrangements with that person to pick it up myself, and then when I got it, my item was missing instructions and parts to build it. I'm still in limbo right now fighting for a refund. The items are genuinely nice but the shipping times and customer service make me not recommend. You're better off buying cheaper somewhere else with customer service that actually cares

These arrived today after the long wait time, though the long wait time is as advertised.

I got 2 items, both which are great quality, and exactly as described on the website. The long wait is worth the quality, and design, for the cost.

I bought a Black Walnut, SandalWood Sliding Door Wardrobe, and had it shipped to me in Canada.
The wardrobe is really nice looking, although I don't think it is actually black walnut wood from the U.S., as their website claims. And, the quality is much lower than I had hoped. The sliding door hardware is cheap, and after 6 months of ownership, the wood is warping so significantly that it is really difficult to slide the doors open and closed.
I received the wardrobe with one incorrect panel, which belonged to another configuration, and made it impossible to install the hanger bar. When I contacted customer service they were very responsive and shipped a replacement piece. Unfortunately, the replacement piece was also incorrect (again, belonging to a taller configuration). Customer service was very apologetic and helpful, and ended up refunding me $300USD for the trouble.
All-in-all, it's a mixed review. I'm happily surprised by the good customer service, but I remain disappointed by the quality of the product.

I wanted to say that this is a good company and worth using if you can wait a bit. The furniture we bought was two solid wood nightstands. They weren't cheap and I was a little nervous because I was taking a chance, based only on pictures. I also wasn't happy when I found out that they had to actually be completed in China then shipped to Spain - a process of three months or so. Eventually the furniture did arrive and it's exactly what I'd hoped it would be. The quality is good and the design is even better. We needed a special size of nightstand (narrow but deep) that had some character and beauty. This was it. I'm very happy. I'll add a photo now. PS: I also found the customer support to be good - responsive and professional. They kept me updated on the status of things and quickly answered my questions. Chris Jensen

If you're willing to wait over 15 weeks and deal with your bank to dispute charges just to get them to ship your order, this company may be suitable for you. Additionally, when you wish to cancel your order, you might need to request it multiple times before they provide the option to cancel, after which communication may cease if you opt for cancellation rather than accepting a discount. I would never recommend ordering from their company. they pride themselves on 30-day returns but can barely respond once you make a decision in that regard.

I actually thought GVA wood was a scam because I couldn’t get an update on the shipping of my solid wood table through customer service. They deferred me to a tracking portal which was full of typos and stayed stuck at the point of the table being deported from China. I read the purchase page for the table I bought in more detail and saw that the advert claimed the wood was from 3 different places, first North America, then a description described it as ‘European’ wood, then finally I found out it is manufactured in China. After being patient and waiting for lunar new year to pass, my table arrived about 5 weeks later than originally promised. It was delivered to me in the UK by DPD. But the tracking portal fromgva wood didn’t mention anything about DPD. The table is very high quality and easy to put together. So overall I’m glad I bought it but the customer journey along the way is pretty patchy. I strongly suggest GvA wood makes their tracking service way more accurate and improves the English on the websites. It just reads like a scam and the information on their products doesn’t seem accurate or genuine. Thank god the final product was actually ok!

So happy with tv cabinet quality of product is second to none the shipping was 12 weeks to the uk. Tracking and communication was spot on

I ordered a shoe cabinet with GVA. It arrived completely dented and warped. The drawers don’t fit into the structure anymore and the one that does won’t close. So disappointed. I have contacted the company, but have not received any response, yet.

The website did look questionable, you can tell there are fake “international” reviews but after checking their Instagram account you can see they have a physical store too so I took a gamble.
Like a previous reviewer the lead time was about 100 days from order to delivery. Bear in mind it’s being made to order and sent from China so this is standard. There were no additional costs. Got constant updates of when it left the factory and then a UPS tracking once it was closer to the UK. I emailed at one point as I hadn’t heard anything but they came back straight away as there’s been delays at port.
Looked in UK originally and the same quality was 3X the price. Definitely worth the wait.

Excellent quality furniture, and not a scam as mentioned in other reviews. I was hesitant and deliberated on trusting the company for a few weeks. As someone else mentioned here on Trustpilot, they do feature many reviews from customers claiming to be from various countries around the world that all seem to feature photos with Chinese outlets and architecture. I'm not really sure why, as it wouldn't bother me to see reviews mostly from China for a Chinese company. Anyway, I ordered a large walnut bed frame and two walnut bedside tables to the UK and they're fab. Just as nice as the photos and really solid. It took 131 days to arrive at my door from placing the order, so be aware of that; the order has to be fabricated and then travel on a container ship around most of the world. Mine turned up in wooden-framed boxes for protection that I had to pry apart with a crowbar. The instructions are in Chinese but there are diagrams and the assembly was pretty simple. All in all, amazing furniture at a really good price.
