Spent a long time reviewing different gym flooring and eventually settled on Sprung which I'm glad I did. I bought the 20mm flooring which installed very easily after watching the how to video and they cut very easily with a stanley blade. Although the tiles aren't exactly square, if you install them how they say in a brick pattern then it compresses them all together brilliantly. The only issue I had was that I asked for a phone call an hour before delivery so I could get home which Bacton Transport said they would do but didn't. This was on the hottest day of the year so they delivered them on the driveway and nobody was at home and the rubber was starting to heat up considerably but luckily moved them just in time before any damage was done.

Very happy with my 30mm flooring for my "deadlift zone". Arrived really quickly and dropped off right outside my garage door as a bonus. Now looking forward to upping my deadlift game to match!

Outstanding quality gym mats. Took a while to put down but entirely worth the effort and money.

Delivery times were ok, but once product arrived there was a noticable discrpencey between the tile sizes,
as much as 10mm, this made it particulary time consuming laying to achieve a sharp finish

This was an easy process from start to finish including the delivery who phoned and booked a convenient day in advance.
The product looks great and although not fitted yet I can already see it’s going to look really smart and professional.

I cannot recommend Gym Flooring enough. We initially ordered flooring for a play room as we wanted extra strong protection on our floor and wanted to prevent damaging it. We loved it so much as it was really easy to install and the whole ordering process was made simple.

We then followed it by ordering some thick flooring for our gym, we have several machines in there such as a cycling machine, treadmill, cross trainer aswell as some weights and a boxing punch bag. I do not need to worry about damaging my flooring even with all this equipment as it provides protection and a bounce. Even with the weight lifting it just makes it easy. I also have a yoga mat on the floor too, again super comfortable and it doesn't affect my poor knees either as it is soft.

Honestly they deserve more then 5*! I would not hesitate to recommend them

Unfortunately, my experience with Sprung Gym Flooring was frustrating and disappointing from a customer service and transparency standpoint.

I placed an international order and paid in full, including shipping, with no mention during checkout or over the phone of any additional duties or clearance fees. Only after the goods were en route was I notified by a third-party freight company that I owed €147.18 in surprise customs charges — charges that were not disclosed at any point in the purchase process. This lack of transparency is not only poor practice but contravenes both UK and EU consumer rights regulations, which require all charges to be clearly communicated prior to purchase.

Compounding the issue, I had already contacted the company in advance to request cancellation of the order due to a bereavement and the need to leave the country. Despite this, the goods were shipped anyway — against my express instructions. My request for a refund due to both personal circumstances and the misrepresentation of costs was initially ignored.

To their credit, a representative eventually stepped in to cover the customs charges as a goodwill gesture, but by that point, the experience had already become unnecessarily stressful, especially during a difficult personal time.

In short:
• Unexpected customs fees were not disclosed at checkout.
• My cancellation request was ignored, and the order was shipped regardless.
• Communication was inconsistent, and initial accountability was lacking.

I would not recommend this company for international customers until they improve their pricing transparency and respect cancellation requests in a timely and professional manner.
