They want me to apply? No they don't
Probably an ageism thing, but this site now seems next to useless.
Reactivated after a long absence. Did get a defence company asking to progress, but that was it. Managed to get a job through another platform.
Really don't like the ambiguous messages that imply a company wants you to apply, when it's really come from Hackajob's system.
Applied anyway... and rejected.

On hackajob there are two distinct scenarios: companies reaching out directly to invite you to interview, and us matching you based on your skills and suggesting you apply.
We recognise those can feel the same, which is actually why we’ve just launched a new candidate experience: your matches are now presented up front for you to browse and apply to at your own discretion, while any direct ‘request’ is guaranteed to have come from a company.
We hope you’ll give it a go when you’re next looking but for now all the best with the new role.

I apply for a position in jobright, they send me to you, and you immediately, inform me that I don't meet the qualifications. In addition, you send me to my dashboard, and apparently there are no positions that fits my profile:(

No jobs for me
It sounds like a good concept but realistically I just get sent around 1 job a month, and it’s always completely inappropriate for me - over 2 hours commute and low pay. Quite a bit of effort to set up the profile and no opportunities from it after 5 months. If you don’t immediately log on to decline one of the jobs you’ve been sent, then they text, call and email you non stop until you do.

I can't find an account in your name in order to investigate the specifics, but I'm sorry to hear we haven't lived up to expectations.
With regards to the salary element, this shouldn't be possible, you're matched based on the salary expectation you set on platform, it's not possible to be matched to roles paying less than the level you set.
With the 2 hour commute this is definitely feedback we're working on, we calculate things based on distance currently and we recognise particularly within a big city this can lead to some fairly sizeable commute times, it's something we're looking into improving at present.
With regard to notifications, you can manage these within your account settings.
