I had my solar system and battery installed by halo renewables and I am very happy with it. I spent about a month gathering quotes from several companies who all recommend different equipment. Halo quoted for 15kwh ecoflow powerocean battery 6kw inverter and 16 solar panels fitted to 2 separate elevations. The quote was very competitive and cheaper than most of my quotes. The panels fitted are aiko brand which are in my opinion a good choice. The ecoflow battery had a 15 year warranty which was a big deciding factor for me, also the batteries are heated and have fire suppression built in. On day of install, considering the layout, I decided that I would like an extra panel to complete the look. The installers Bradley and Tomas fitted the extra rails to accommodate the extra panel, 2 days later they returned to fit the extra panel. The install was quick and efficient and very neat and tidy ( I am an electrician myself, so I can positively say that the install is as it should be). Bradley put in alot of effort to ensure I had minimal cable surface mounted to the external of my house which I was very impressed with as he definitely did not take the easy route.
I did have an issue a few days after install where the RCD tripped out. I contacted the company owner and he was very quick in his reply and organising a return visit to replace the RCD, due to this I can also say that I am very happy with the after sales service so far. The electrician has also personally followed up with me to make sure all is still ok.

The ecoflow app is very good and very user friendly compared to other app I have seen/used. I also have 8 tigo optimizers on 1 string of the system that are all working well.

All of my certification and relevant documents was sent to me by email within a few days after install so I was able to apply for SEG quickly.

Overall I would recommend halo renewables to anyone looking for a future install.

I was referrred by a friend to Matthew from Halo Renewables for a quote for a solar panel, battery and inverter system. The quote was the most value and competitive offer out there. I was worried about the installation wiring due to being a mid terrace. The cabling was superbly done with it being taken underneath the floor to make a superb finish. The workmanship was excellent and the guys were neat and tidy with their work and explaining how everything worked. I've already recommended them to my network.

I highly recommend Halo Renewables for your solar and battery installations. They were very professional, helpful, knowledgeable and above all they did exactly what they promised, without any issues and made sure after they had finished the job all was left tidy and in good order.

The scaffolding went up a couple of days before the install date.

On the day of install I couldnt beleive how quick it took Halo to complete the job, they started just after 8am, installed 15 panels (with all the fittings etc) with a 10Kw battery and 6Kw inverter, and the system was fully working by 1pm. Two days later the scaffolding was removed.

The system has now been running for over three weeks, and its been working without any issues, the only issue has been caused by clouds ⛅️ bring on the summer ☀️

Halo Renewables also provided me with the best quote! After my experience i just dont know how they can do it cheaper as their service was absolutely first class. Some of the other quotes i received from bigger national companies were 3k more expensive and were for either less panels or a smaller battery! 🤔

After placing an order with Octopus that unfortunately turned out to be a bit more complicated than expected (Octopus installer requested that the fuse isolator needs to be installed by an external electrician as Octopus installers aren't able to install one and apparently UK law requires one!)
I called Halo Renewables and after a short chat with Matthew I placed an order for a Hypervolt 3 Home Pro.
Great value, fast installation and a very polite customer service from everyone.

The only thing that could be improved a little is Matthew's communications as I needed to message him a few times to get any updates about the timeline of the installation.

Overall a happy customer and Halo Renewables come highly recommended!

Excellent service and very very competitive price. I just had my installation done. Within 10 days installation took place. The director Mathew is very calm and great person. Very responsive to the Facebook messenger. Member of his team are very great too.

Just got around to writing the review. Had my 16 solar panels and 15kw Ecoflow batteries installed 28/10/24. From start the finish it has been a smooth ride. Halo was recommended to me by a friend. Matt was alway available on the other line even when he was on holiday in Dubai. Tommy was helpful and had my certificates turn around within a week. I had 10 quotes including the big boys and my local council run scheme and Halo and another installer came out head to head and it was difficult choosing between them however halo won through with offering Ecoflow batteries over GivEnergy batteries. The scaffolding went up over the weekend and the ground team Brad & Tomasz arrived Monday morning at 9am and had all the work done by 6pm. The guys were very professional and knowledgeable they even helped clean my gutters and assisted me putting gutter guards on after they had completed the installation. The only gripe I would have is that they didn’t clean up completely and I found nails and wiring for weeks afterwards and having a dog this wasn’t ideal however I would still recommend Halo and will use them again as I plan to have additional batteries installed in the future. A very trustworthy and professional company and deliver what they promise and no hard sales. The scaffolding team were great and took it down within a week of the work completing.

Tomasz and Bradley were excellent from start to finish, leaving the place cleaner than they arrived and also making real care to make the system aesthetically pleasing and neat. Very impressed with the workmanship and quality so far. Scaffolding due to come down the day after install!

Today I had a second GiveEnergy battery installed to a system previously performed by E. On, the installation was neat but there were issues with the manufacturer software that delayed completion of the commissioning process.

James and Kenzie remained on site liaising with the manufacturer until the software issues were remotely resolved and the calibration process was underway.

James and Kenzie were friendly and professional and kept me fully informed as to exactly what was going on.

On my journey to find the best solar setup and installer for my home, I randomly had a call and a guest on a Saturday afternoon. That was my first interaction with Halo, and the guest was Elizabeth. By that time I already had 10 quotations, from all big energy companies and some local installers too. So I was not very eager, but by the end of our chat I was convinced to give them a chance. Kudos to Elizabeth, she made me feel that she was not trying to sell a specific product rather she was trying to provide pros and cons of many different setups (from different panels, inverters to optimisers), in addition to her being a passionate solar energy user. Oh, did I say Elizabeth came over by driving 2 hrs from Peterborough?

She started the desire in me to learn, understand and choose the best setup for my home. After a couple of back and forth with Elizabeth and Matthew (should say how prompt they were in responding!), I found the most suitable setup which none other installers even suggested. Additionally they sweetened that with a super good deal too!!

So my small home was waiting for the 17 Aiko panels optimised by Tigo optimizers integrated with a 15kwh Ecoflow battery and inverter (6kwh). It was not a long wait either, in 3 weeks time Tomasz was in front of my door at 8:00 to start putting the panels on my roof. And Brad came over a little later and started working on the installation of electrical bits. By 14:30, they were all done, should say how impressive, thorough, professional and cordial they were during the whole process. By the time they left, my panels were up and running and even my battery was 35% charged. It's 3 days now, and I am virtually off the grid until now. Did I forget to say that I am ready to export to Octopus flux already as Halo made my transition completely hassle free by doing all the paperwork in the background?

I really would like to thank Matthew, Elizabeth, Tomasz, Brad and others in Halo for such an excellent experience. We definitely need Halo to grow bigger if we want the UK to go BIG on the solar path. So, if you are starting your journey on the solar path, don't forget to say 'Hello to Halo'!

Very happy with the installation of my panels and batteries. The installation team were polite, friendly, and answered all my questions. All clean and tidy afterwards with Brad showing me how to install the operational apps and how to use them. All done on the day arriving at 8.30 exactly as I had been told. Documentation received by email the following day.

Great advice and information before installation and installation was very smooth. The guys were very clean, courteous and efficient, could not have done better. A very good price too! Thank you soo much - a positive experience from start to finish!
