Oustanding Customer Service

On December 19, 2024, my daughter got in a car accident at 3:30 p.m. in Watertown, Massachusetts. I contacted my agent Lori E McManus, Personal Lines Account, Manager, Brown & Brown Insurance Services, Inc., 980 Washington Street, Suite 325 Dedham, MA 02026 she got on a call with my daughter, took the facts, had a claim set up by 4:00 p.m. and by Friday, December 20, 2024 the car was booked at a Hanover Insurance approved autobody company and I had a reservation for rental car. Outstanding response and dilligence by Lori E McManus and further follow-up this week, and I am very pleased with having Hanover Insurance as my automobile insurance carrier.

Thank you for helping us so quickly

The claims adjuster helped us so quickly and efficiently, it was almost unreal. We were also lucky to find a great roofing company, so everything was handled smoothly and swiftly. I give Hanover 10+ stars for helping me with my claim.

Customer Service is Alive & Well

This company is always there to answer my questions or to inform me of any updates or changes. I’m really glad that I switched from Oklahome Farm Bureau (after 20 years) to Hanover. I’m very pleased with my agent and his staff! Thank you for hiring such competent people!

After 8 years with Hanover

After 8 years with Hanover, I was cancelled because I didn't pay the monthl bill on tine (a few days late). I realize this was my fault but I do travel a lot and I can get confused between the paperwork you send me and the electronic texts you send me. If you had suggested that I move over to auto payment, I would have done so gladly. I was unaware that option existed and had no idea I would be cancelled for late payment.

Furthermore, Hanover cited me for having a speeding ticket. Actually, I was sited for driving an unregistered vehicle. However this vehicle was the company car - not mire. Apparently our accounting dept. had missed the payment but it was taken care of that next day.

I will miss Hanover as I (up to now) found you a good and responsive company. Good Luck to you.

This company is awful

This company is awful. My premium went from $70 a month to $370 a month with no notice so naturally I canceled the policy. My mortgage company paid them for an entire year of coverage $4440. What I was told is Hanover insurance would send me a check minus one month of coverage to pay back the mortgage company. What I got instead was $1050. Now I am liable for $3350 for absolutely nothing. Avoid this company. Just awful.

I'm a 20+ year happy, Hanover customer

I'm a 20+ year Hanover customer, and I'd rate Han with a !0 (ten rating) cause I ve only files ONE accident claim with you guys and you paid it right away, and didnt raise my rates! In fact that was the only accident I ever
in my whole life (I'm 79 going on 80).
Most experience, dated appx 12/12/2024, I talked to ASHLEY xxxx over the phone to straighten out an administratrive error.She was terrific! She went the extra mile to correct the error in record time. She is a good listener and obviously cares about Han customers, especially me, asked me many relevant questions. So I believe she should get a RAISE rai$$e for that!
No, she did not ask me to get her one!!(I had a story related to he claim that I wanted to tell her, and she listened to it all.This is typically not the response of many customer service people, but I appreciated the attention she gave me. Sometimes I get super frustrated over a small form error that could turn into a bigger deal, if it werent for a sensitive cust service person like Ashley who knew about the problem, and knew how to Calm Me Down very quickly!So, let's hear it for her.I'm glad you included this survey so I could followup on my phone commitmant to tell you you about how her service meant to me.
