Caravan Insurance
Spoke to a very courteous young man named Liam who talked me through the whole process - he made it all so very easy to complete. I received a confirmation email very shortly afterwards. The whole process was very quick, smooth and hassle free. Very competitive prices too.

Great service and price
Great service and price. Happy Place offered a significantly lower price than the renewal price quoted by their 'parent' company. And for the same level of cover. It certainly put me in a happy place!!

Be aware.
I was pleased with the transaction until I was made aware,after purchase,that my caravan had to be CRIS registered.
The £65.00 fee for this cancelled any saving in changing from previous insurers,LV.

Hi Harry, as outlined in our policy booklet, caravans manufactured after 1992 must be registered with the Central Registration and Identification Scheme (CRiS) and the identification number must be provided to us.
For the vast majority of our customers, their caravans are already CRiS registered either by the manufacturer or dealer. Unfortunately the cost to register a non-UK caravan such as yours is quite high but we don’t set the price for that.
The benefit of CRiS registration is that it could help to recover your caravan in the event of theft and it will also be viewed favourably if and when you come to sell your caravan. As an insurer we need a CRiS number to handle a claim.
We would expect most specialist caravan insurers to request a CRiS number at the start of a new policy.

Competitive Caravan Insurance Premium.
Early receipt of renewal notice and documentation online, and two follow-up telephone messages. Easy and efficient renewal. Expected LOWER premium than previous year given probable reduction in use of caravans during pandemic and assumed fewer claims for losses as a result. Premium quoted still as good as alternatives on comparison sites.
