Great option for watches at Hartmanns, good range, covering a variety of styles and brands. I ordered a watch at 50% off during their January sale and it arrived the next day without issue. Super efficient service and ordering off the Hartmanns website was simple,safe and easy to follow. Would highly recommend

Old Battery in Watch
I spent €800 on a watch for my husband and was extremely disappointed to learn that the battery had to be replaced upon opening it. I ordered it from the website for delivery to Dublin from Galway. We have since learned that it will have to be sent off for 2 weeks to have a specialist device replace the battery due to the materials used to make the watch as well as pay a fee for the service. Its a real shame because otherwise the service would have been great. Fast delivery, beautiful packaging and presentation, etc.

I'm really sorry to read this review. And of course sorry for any upset caused. This watch only arrived in stock to us from Hamilton on 15th of December last year so the battery should not have been depleted. I can only guess that it was sitting in the Hamilton factory for some time before delivery.
Either way the watch should have been checked thoroughly before sending to you and this was entirely our mistake. Had we checked the watch correctly we would have had our watchmaker change the battery before sending to you. Similarly, if you had contacted us upon receipt of the watch we could have arranged the return and replacement rather than you going to the expense of replacing the battery elsewhere.
I am really sorry for the trouble and will happily reimburse you for the cost of the battery and offer you a discount on your next purchase if you would like to make direct contact.
