Really disappointed

Really disappointed. I waited almost 2 months for my cap and they have sent the wrong size. Imagine sending it back for an exchange. I wouldn't get it until Christmas. I'm not going to bother. Oh well, lesson learnt with these guys

I had a great experience with Hatstore

I had a great experience with Hatstore, when my order didn't arrive they followed up and then resent my order. I found them to be a great company, helpful and friendly.
Will definitely order in the future

Stay away. Misleading website

As per all the other reviews do not use this website. They are based in Sweden and mislead you with there website name. I am waiting 3 months now for my order.
Stay far away!!!!

DON'T BUY FROM THEM. Cheating people by sitting in Sweden and having Australia website.. placed my order one month back and still no news on my order. I wish I had seen reviews posted other customers.

Ahhh...no, no you're not.
Don't use the name Australia if you're a Swedish company and imply that anyone would notice this in fine print right next to an Australia Post logo at checkout.

Avoid at all costs

Avoid at all costs. The company is based in Sweden despite branding itself as “Hatstore Australia”. When purchasing a hat for my son for christmas from Santa, the delivery estimate was 5-10 working days which suited me fine as I was organised and began ordering presents in late November. It is now the 15th of February and still no sign of the hat. Dealing with one very disappointing little boy in Christmas morning was pretty difficult and I was very frustrated that I made email correspondence conveying this. The response I got was that they had changed theirs delivery estimates to 30-45 business days. As if that was going to be any consolation to me. When I purchased the product it was stated 5-10 business days as this was not honoured I was entitled to a refund however this battle continued for many weeks and was only received this week as it was now also outside the estimated 45 business days !! Moral of the story read the fine print as hatstore australia does not necessarily mean it is an Australian company shipping from Australia. False advertising at its very best here.

I'm sorry to hear you're already waiting so long for delivery. In fact, all packages do eventually arrive in Australia, just often significantly delayed however sadly. The current delivery times and delays are mentioned again specifically at checkout. "Trackable shipping from Sweden - 30-45 business days, due to major delivery delays." We unfortunately were forced to wait the full 45 days as that's the ETA we've been told and because we have noticed packages still making it into Australia around the mentioned time frame, you did eventually receive the refund however which is the most important thing! :)

Very sorry for any inconvenience the delay has caused you and your son, if the order does show up eventually and it will, you are very welcome to hold onto it as we've also already told you over email to compensate you for the delay.

Poor communication, long delays, wrong product, dishonest

[UPDATE] In response to Hatstore Australia’s reply to my review, your staff did, in fact, lie to me when they stated “Unfortunately we do not have the blue one for that model therefore that is not possible that you have ordered it in blue.” I have this in writing and sent your representative the link on tour website to the very hat that was, at that time, clearly in stock. The fact it is now out of stock is irrelevant and highly misleading to my complaint. You have lied.

Furthermore, I did not receive an order confirmation, as I have mentioned on multiple occasions. I received no information after my payment went through. This is the issue that you seem unwilling to accept as a potential issue with your system. How am I to make a change if I don’t have the information to see that there was a mistake?

I stand by my original review, as follows:

I recently purchased 4 hats from Hatstore 'Australia'. After purchasing I didn't receive any information about my order and no tracking details. I checked in my Spam folders but there was nothing there. After almost 6 weeks waiting I had to contact them to find out what was happening. They were delivered a few days later which I understand because of COVID delays.

However, one of the hats was not what I ordered - I was provided with a grey hat when I ordered a blue hat (I hate grey). I contacted Hatstore to note the mistake and was told by a "Customer Hero" called Barbara that it was "impossible" that I could have ordered the blue hat because they didn't sell that hat in blue. I then went onto their website where the exact hat I wanted to purchase was for sale and sent them the link. Barbara's response was that it must have been a recently returned hat and that it was not what I ordered.

Barbara then told me to find my order details in my junk mail and I explained that I had checked multiple times and that there wasn't anything there. I asked them to find the original order and send it to me as they must have it on their system.

Instead of this, I was contacted by another "Customer Hero" called Isabelle re-stating that I was wrong and that they would give me a refund. I got the refund, but I'm stuck with a hat I don't like and pretty upset with the way I was treated. I understand people make mistakes, but don't lie!

I assure you, you have not been lied to. Unfortunately as both Isabelle and Barbara said, this was in fact the item you have ordered, and the one that has been dispatched. This is the same item that was also featured in your order confirmation. The order confirmation does not lie. As we did not hear from you before dispatch asking us to switch it out to the Blue one, we dispatched the original one that you have ordered. We wanted on good-will to send you the one you initially wanted (but not selected) but unfortunately it was sold out. Which is why we refunded you for the item instead which you should have received by now as well. We highly encourage you to check the order confirmation on a future order in the events of you accidentally ordering the incorrect one again, and to contact us before dispatch so we'd be able to switch it out. In regards to this particular order however we have sent you what you have ordered but would still like to apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you.

Hatstore legend…

The carrier pigeons chosen to deliver the hats went via Antarctica for the summer but Hatstore kept me in the loop. Will definitely use again.

Product is great if you’re prepared to wait

The product and customer service are 5 star. Great product. Friendly and prompt email communications. Unfortunately the shipping is not. Product scanned in Swiss customs a month after ordering. Didn’t arrive to Australia until seven and a half weeks after ordering. I understand delays but quoting 7-11 business days with a ‘few’ delays is not reflective of seven and half weeks.

ETA: 35-40 days was not quoted at the stage as indicated in Hatstore Australia’s reply. I have photographic evidence on being quoted 7-11 days after the order was submitted.

Caps replaced as promised.

Originally ordered 2 caps which went missing in transit, Hatstoreaustralia replaced them and resent them immediately and they arrived within a reasonable time span considering it was over the Christmas period.

Great Service when item didn't arrive

This is our second time ordering from Hatstore Australia.
Our first purchase was flawless. The second shipment got held up in Customs. Once we got correspondence from Aus Post that it hadn't been cleared, I contacted Hatstore who offered a refund or to send another hat.
They sent the new hat express and it arrived 4 business days later. Fantastic.
Once they identified the issue, it was fixed straight away.

Fantastic quality, great service

Fantastic quality products but even better customer service. A mistake was made on one of the orders we placed where an adult size hat was incorrectly shipped instead of a youth hat.

They immediately responded by organising a youth size hat to be shipped without any question.

Excellent customer service and fantastic products.
