I wouldn't even give them a 1 star if I could.
I highly recommend to stay away from this firm, they're not interested im your case especially Matthew Purves.
Every time you ring hes never available you leave a message he doesn't respond, you send him emails saying you need to speak to him urgently still doesn't respond.
At the hearing he doesn't turn up and sends someone else who doesn't know the case so you spend more time explaining. The police had a phone that contained messages to help the defence, the police emailed the solicitor for it to be collected and of course the solicitor didn't pass that information on and because I couldn't defend myself correctly on a false allegation charge i was given a 5 years restraining order but if my so called solicitor did the job he was paid to do i wouldn't have getting that R.O.
Then when I got the phone back I went into see Purves to make an application to get the R.O discharged and he then made the remark that I should wait at least another year, and that he will have to 'Dip My Pocket' for payment to apply to discharge the R.O but it was due to him and his clown why I got the R.O in the first place.
So if you are looking for a great solicitor go to Pearson Caulfield in newcastle town centre and stay well away from Hay & Clowns.
