Everything was very easy from the first phonecall to make enquiries about gallbladder removal. Everyone was really helpful and about 2.5 weeks after my first call surgery was done. Best decision I made regarding gallbladder removal.

From when I first rang healthier weight I was fully supported by the team. Helena was lovely she gave me all the information I needed to make the decision. Sam and Angela was fully supportive about the pre-op diet and rang me to see how it was going. The priory hospital from when I had my pre-op to the day I had surgery all staff were lovely and put me at ease. Professor Singhal was so nice and made regular visits to check up on his patients. A few days after surgery he rang to see how things were going. Also the team from healthier weight have checked up on me. If I’ve had any questions I’ve emailed Yasmin who is the lead bariatric nurse and she’s got back to me straight away or has rang me. I have no regrets with having the surgery and definitely no regrets with going with healthier weight.

I contacted Healthier Weight as I required a Gall Bladder removal operation. Due to a upcoming holiday I only had a short window to get the operation done. Helena was a great help with this and despite some waits for scan results a date was found and operation all went well. From the first phonecall Helena and others in the team have been great explaining the process and going out of their way to accommodate what I needed. I couldn't recommend Healthier Weight more.

I had bariatric surgery 5 weeks ago. I can honestly say that I could not have gone through with this procedure without Healthier Weight. They organised everything for me. From the initial consultation with the surgeon, to organising tests and was thorough with the medical history. They were so supportive and would answer any questions 24/7. They have a team of nurses and dietitians who support you right through from before the surgery and after. They give you a package to help you on your journey which includes digital scales, dietary plate, journal and pen plus extras. There's also an app, which is very helpful. You can track weight, bmi, make appointments and follow recipes if you so wish. I can't thank Healthier Weight enough. 5 stars.

From start to finish my experience with Healthier Weight and in particular the staff that I encountered at Spire Parkway Solihull has been amazing! I consulted with Arabella mainly over my booking and paperwork, and in the lead up to my pre-op I spoke with her fairly regularly to ensure everything was in check with my paperwork and understanding of the process ahead. I had cholecystectomy surgery with Mr Wiggins and his amazing team, and I was so looked after and reassured from every aspect. I have health anxiety and I felt in good hands the whole time. I had my pre-op with Kerry, she’s super funny and so down to earth, I didn’t need to worry - I felt listened to!
On the day I was checked in to an immaculate room, and nothing was too much trouble. I didn’t have too much time to procrastinate before a nurse came in and explained everything and shortly followed by Mr Wiggins himself. I signed the form and everything was super quick from there! I spoke to the lovely anaesthetist who noted my allergies and concerns, and addressed them very individually- keeping my mind at ease. I was walked down to the theatre by a lovely nurse and was handed over to the theatre team who I had a laugh with before drifting calmly to sleep. When I woke up I was being monitored and spoken to very calmly, and I didn’t once feel uncomfortable. Upon arriving back in my room I was checked thoroughly through my stay and offered pain relief, drinks and food, and again reassured by both the nursing team and the catering staff too. I will again emphasise - nothing was too much trouble! Absolutely first class treatment and cannot thank them all enough! 💜

Absolutely terrible. No support. Left in limbo have been told contradicting things. You are left in limbo especially if you had any procedures before the old HW went into liquidation. VERY EAGER TO TAKE YOUR MONEY. PLEASE BEWARE

Healthier Weight made my experience stress free , I had revision bariatric surgery. From the 1st contact to present. I can contact them any time for any question and theg always return my call with advise. The Priory hospital was great 5 star, staff were very helpful and friendly, they couldn't do enough for you.

I had to make an official complaint as the company cancelled my ESG procedure 5 days prior. I prepared physically by being in a liver reduction diet and mentally. I have a history of mental health issues and due to this (and despite what their response will say), their psychologist deemed me not suitable for surgery (even though my own psychiatrist sent a letter of support). The CEO has responded to my complaint basically saying the decision to cancel wasn't based on the psychologist report but it was based on my pre-op assessment, the surgeons opinion and the MDT opinions. This is another lie as the surgeon wasn't aware it was cancelled when I spoke to his secretary. The surgery also was proceeding up until the psychologist report so to say it was down to all the assessments is a lie. To cancel someones surgery 5 days prior is clinically incompetent especially as I have been researching & preparing for this for 7 months. Their response to this will obviously say they followed all guidelines and didn't do anything wrong blah blah blah but this company is uncaring, incompetent and are liars. DO NOT trust them with your money, especially if you have a history of mental health. They used mine against me even though 90% of my history happened 30 years ago. They have done more damage to me mentally after this than anything! Safe to say I am now booked in for an ESG with another company who acknowledges my mental health as a small part of who I am, not entirely who I am. Good Luck to all that give this company any money :-)

I cannot speak highly enough of the Healthier Weight team. Since having my gastric band procedure in 2018, the transformation in my health, confidence, and overall quality of life has been remarkable.
From my very first consultation through to my ongoing aftercare, the team has always been professional, supportive, and genuinely caring. I’m now 4 weeks post gallbladder removal and every day is just getting better and better! I’d been in daily pain with my gallbladder for 18+ months triggered by rapid weight loss and then pregnancy. I still had a high BMI (45) after birth but when I tried to lose weight, the gallbladder attacks ramped up to the point of putting me in A&E. My GP was desperately sending me to every hospital in our area to get it removed but each one rejected me saying I had to lose weight first. They didn’t care that it landed me in A&E, they didn’t care about the risks leaving it would have.

Finally I decided I had to go private. Within minutes of meeting Mr Mehta I felt reassured. He carefully explained the risks with the procedure and how they related to my specific circumstances. I was booked in for a couple weeks afterwards at Spire Leeds.

Surgery day was smooth with very minimal waiting around. The team were fantastic and really put me at ease. When I came round at first I thought they hadn’t done it because the pain felt like the daily gallbladder ache I’ve had for all that time. I wanted to spring out of bed immediately! I was up and walking within a couple hours and on my way home that afternoon. And the recovery? I was at the cinema less than 48 hours later.

Mr Mehta and Healthier Weight saw me instead of just the number on the scale. I’ve got my life back! And now that I’m recovered I can even go back to losing weight again without pain. Best money I’ve ever spent!

I had a gastric band in 2022 and lost zero weight, I've had numerous fills and defiling and even though I'm now down to 2ml in my band, i can't eat meat or bread. I'm always bringing up clear slime, its vile. I hate eating as i don't know what I'm going to choke on next! Having a gastric band has just made me miserable. £7000 wasted! Its just vile. And after your aftercare is finished, which to be honest, the aftercare wasn't great. Your on your own!

From start to finish I have had a fantastic experience with Healthier Weight. From the Consultant and nursing staff on the ward to the nurses who provided aftercare.

From start to finish the service has been exceptional. Professor Singhal is class leading and the backroom staff/nurse are excellent.

My treatment was carried out at the excellent Fitzrovia hospital. If you are awaiting to have your Gallbladder removed on the NHS, don't, use these guys. Worth every penny

We chose Healthy Weight for my husband’s gallbladder surgery due to the long NHS waiting times, and I can honestly say the experience has been exceptional from start to finish. We spoke with Arabella, who was friendly, professional, and answered all of our questions with ease.

All the paperwork was sent promptly via email, and everything was clearly explained in detail. The surgeon also called for a pre-operative consultation, during which they explained the procedure thoroughly and addressed all of our questions.

8 months ago I made a decision that would change my life forever.
I thought about having a gastric bypass for 12 months, doing research after research. Nearly opted for going abroad. Then I found Healthier Weight. Right from the off, with the initial enquiry with Vicky, I knew this was the company for me. Rishi Singhal was the surgeon I chose, because he's one of the best in his field. When completely replumbing ones insides, you want the best, right?
Had my consult with the prof, and thereafter picked a date and hospital to suit me.
Checked in to the Priory in Birmingham and before I knew it the surgery was over. Was looked after extremely well by everyone there.
I am now almost 5 months post op, and have lost 69% of my excess body weight. My blood pressure is now normal and I'm not on meds anymore. I no longer have reflux and am off those meds too. But the biggest thing for me is the back pain relief. So much less pressure on my arthritic spine, bulging discs and spinal stenosis. This was the whole reason for surgery in the first place.
I can honestly say, it has been life changing for me.
Hopefully I will live a longer, healthier one.
I had a call only today from an email query I sent yesterday, and Yasmin was super helpful. You don't have to wait for HW to call, they are there on the end of the phone/email whenever you need help or advice.
I would 100% recommend Healthier Weight.

I had a gastric band fitted in 2013. It was not great, I had three adjustments with fluid in and out of the port. I lost no weight at all. All it did was make me put my fingers down my throat as food was not able to go down easily and it just got stuck halfway down. I had to switch to very soft and liquid food to function. Turns out the band had slipped/ twisted/ moved! It was removed by the NHS as I couldn’t go on with it like that. Tests and scan showed it was positioned badly. Think twice before opting for this procedure.

Healthier Weight completed a surgical procedure for me on behalf of the NHS. The procedure was completed successfully far earlier than the NHS would have been able to. I was able to select a date with certainty of who would be carrying out the procedure, when and how.

I was able to talk to the surgeon and received good advice and reassurance and the call really built confidence.

Treatment was good, surgeon and anesthetist were excellent. Spire Parkway Hospital was excellent.

I'm still less than 2-weeks post op but everything seems to be progressing well.

I had a gastric bypass in 2013 with Healthier Weight and while the surgery went well, I don’t think I was advised properly about the potential after effects and cost of the vitamins afterwards I was just told ‘you’ll have to take vitamins for the rest of your life’. Now I’m not in a position to pay for it all, as originally I thought I’d just be buying a few cheap vitamins from
Boots, but you are looking at £40 a month. In addition I didn’t lose the weight I wanted to, because I ended up drinking wine every night and practically became a functioning alcoholic - apparently this is very common but something you’re not told about prior to the surgery. I’d say think twice before permanently screwing up your insides.

I had my surgery with Mr Madhok 2 weeks ago (gastric sleeve). He was absolutely amazing so are the healthier weight team. Laura M is who I booked with and no question went unanswered. So was so patient, kind & put me at ease. Have no regrets choosing this company for my major surgery and would highly recommend.
