Another memorable stay at Coppet Hall Lodge. The place was clean and comfortable and is so well located. We will be back again next year!

We’ve recently spent a week at White Cottage and had a lovely time. The property is finished to a high standard and we have already booked to stay there again next year. It’s also just a stone’s throw from Coppet Hall Beach. We are more than happy with White Cottage and with the excellent service provided by the staff at Hean Castle

This was not our first visit to Clicketts Heath and I must say once again we were not disappointed. Our experience throughout from booking, to staying in contact before our arrival through to our day of arrival and accommodation was nothing but excellent. Kim and the team are amazing and really do go that extra mile, I would happily recommend.

Amazing stay at white cottage ! All the personal touches make it a home from home. Spotlessly clean and a location to die for . Everything we needed in terms of walks, meals out , and enough privacy but within a stones throw of all amenities . Dogs loved it! We’ve booked for 2025 !

It is an absolute pleasure to be a regular customer of Hean Castle Estate. That said, it was our first stay in Coppet Hall Lodge. I have previously reported on the exceptional standards we value so much. This holiday was no different. Helen and Martin presented the cottage and grounds in an immaculately maintained and clean condition. The welcome pack would put a Fortnum Mason Christmas Hamper to shame and there is an almost unlimited supply of kindling and wood for the two log burners, supplied at no additional cost!!!
The property itself has three bedrooms and three bathrooms. Downstairs there is a modern kitchen, utility room, separate dining room and two reception / TV rooms. Even though there was only the two of us we found the downstairs arrangement perfect for our needs, allowing for separation when the desire to read / listen to music clashed with the desire to watch TV.
The Lodge is ideally located, a minutes walk from Coppet Hall Sands, which is dog friendly from Oct - April. (Outside of these dates access is limited to early mornings and evenings.)
The centre of Saundersfoot and all its amenities is a gentle 15 minute stroll and Wiseman's Bridge is a similar distance in the opposite direction. As a base to explore West Wales it is ideal.
Overall the Lodge is ideal for both couples and families alike. Furthermore, a dog friendly property of this high standard is an added bonus.
The Leisure Team at HCE deserve all the praise they get. Customer service does not come any better; whether you are dealing with the manager or the front line staff you get the same response, they put your needs first because they care.
In two weeks we found one negative issue, my wife had nowhere convenient to sit whilst drying her hair and using a mirror. A stool or small chair in one of the bedrooms would be a quick fix.

We had a wonderful stay at this exceptionally well appointed property. Secluded location with lovely views of the coastline and perfect grounds for our dog to run around in. Really well maintained and managed property. The welcome pack of local produce and essentials was a nice touch. We will return!

Great location, great cottage, perfectly kept. Despite the weather not being good in the week we were there, there’s still loads to do in the area - beach walks, country houses, theme parks, and lots of good restaurants.

A very restful week, well equipped clean and comfortable

The standard of the property was excellent and Michelle and Kim were truly welcoming. On hand if anything required but not intrusive.we have already re booked for later in the year..

Once again a lovely stay at White Cottage. Very comfortable cottage, lovely welcome hamper goodies and right by the beach what more could you ask for.

We count ourselves fortunate to have been able to book Coppet Hall Lodge for two weeks over Christmas and the New Year. This was our second visit to this exceptional cottage. As it had been two years ago, the house was immaculate. The furnishings and decoration tastefully chosen with careful attention to detail. The bathrooms and kitchen want for nothing and the latter provided everything for a full self catering family stay. (Even for six people at Christmas!)
Despite the very wet weather, the close proximity of the sea ensured the opportunity for daily swimming (our daughter in law!) and dog walking. For the more sedentary, the village is a five minute walk away. During a short respite in the weather, we took advantage of the firepit and melted marshmallows.
Coppet Hall Lodge is far and away the best cottage we have ever stayed in and many thanks must go to the team who maintain these very high standards both on a practical level and a personal one.
We look forward to our next visit to this exquisite lodge.

When we arrived on a cold wet autumn afternoon, a couple of lights were on, the radio was playing and a fantastic welcome pack was left in the kitchen for us. Helen wasn't far behind to welcome us in person either. All of which helped us settle in quickly and feel at home. Lovely decoration and one of the best equipped cottages we have stayed in. Fantastic quiet location yet so close to the sea and easy access to Saundersfoot amenities. This was our third stay at a Hean Castle Estate Holiday Cottage.

This was our first time staying at White Cottage and it most certainly did not disappoint. The cottage is truly luxurious, comfortable and immaculate. There is such attention to detail to ensure the comfort of guests. The cottage is very well equipped for all needs. A delightful welcome hamper was supplied with local products, fruit, flowers and even the dogs were spoilt with treats. The team really go out of their way to make you feel welcome, it was so nice to meet Kim, Helen and the grounds men who all took time to chat and clearly take pride in their work. The cottage and grounds are stunning and newly refurbished to a very high standard. The location of the cottage is perfect, just a few minutes walk on the flat to the beach and to Saundersfoot. Like many others we have booked to stay again next year after a thoroughly enjoyable stay. Thank you to the team for all you did to make our stay perfect. We were lucky to get a cancellation for our usual week away to Pembrokeshire for our 3rd stay in White Cottage and everything still at an exceptional standard. The welcome pack was so very well stocked and they literally have everything you need and more for a stay there, including the dogs needs too! Kim, Helen and grounds staff were the most friendly and helpful people. We look forward to booking again if we can get a week in the cottages busy diary!

This house was amazing in every way!!! Spotlessly clean very well equipped, very friendly and welcoming staff,excellent location!!!! Every attention to detail possible! We had a fantastic holiday and we will be returning.

White Cottage in Saundersfoot is absolutely first class, not only it's location, the quality within the cottage and externally. We have recommended it to numerous friends and family.
