This is the absolute worst company
This is the absolute worst company. Their customer service is SLOW AND AWFUL. They only want to provide an email for support and getting a human to talk to is almost impossible. I opened a card for my daughter and added my husband as an administrator so we could link his private bank account and we were never able to successfully link his account because I was the one who opened the card. Even though under FAQ’s it states that administrators can link an account. We were not able to get it resolved prior to our daughter traveling internationally. So she had no card for her trip, which was the reason we got the card to begin with.

He’s failing this is absolutely unacceptable. This is supposed to be easy for the kids to have fun while they’re traveling and this is an absolutely horrible experience.

Absolutely terrible. The card does not work even after activation, and the "customer service" is very lousy! I would give this crappy app zero stars if I were able to.

There’s always something. I get kicked out of the account. Money won’t transfer. My kids can’t get into their account. After several months of trying out this app I’m done.
Don’t trust Till if you are on an EF…
Don’t trust Till if you are on an EF Tour. Do not trust that their customer service “team” will be helpful when something malfunctions with their card and your child is thousands of miles away in Europe with no money for food or water!! Till is recommended for people who booked an EF tour. My worst nightmare came true on a Friday morning. My son’s card was getting an error when trying to buy water. There is no phone number for these jokers!!!!! THIS IS THE BIGGEST RED FLAG OF ALL. You have to email them and they won’t answer if it’s a weekend. It they do bother to answer it will take three hours to get a very unhelpful reply. Then I would immediately reply that their solution didn’t work and could they escalate my issue to someone higher up. There wasn’t anyone else.
TILL IS AWFUL
Imagine your child being on a school trip in a foreign country and their credit card not working. Only to call the bank who has the card and says, "Whoopsie, service not guaranteed." That is exactly whatvis happening. DO NO USE TILL. There are so many other options and 8n hindsight, paying international fees is better than dealing with this!
No customer service
No customer service, repeatedly loose connection with my bank, or are unable to connect to bank to transfer funds. Push customer to join "premium" for a fee. This is a fraudulent app in my opinion.
waste of time
Lousy company, very hard to navigate their crappy app. Their "debit card processor" will not accept my debit card (never had an issue otherwise) and so I am left without a way to add money to a card. Our son leaves for a trip tomorrow and we have no way to give him funds. Complete waste of time and effort!
Something has changed recently
I got this card originally for my son who was traveling abroad under the direction of the tour that he was traveling with. I really liked the chore feature so I got cards for my other four kids. It was working fine up until two months ago and no I can’t load it and if I transfer money to a card it disappears and I have to use chat to talk to someone took three days for them to find the money and put it on the correct card. Just tried to load the cards again and nope failed transaction. My friend used acorn and never has an issue I am getting those cards. Great concept sad it never works
Customer Service is non-existent
Customer Service is non-existent. You can't reach them by phone and get a generic respect when you send an email. I have had trouble with deposits failing on their end and the automatic reload feature never works. It says it will take 1 business day to do a manual transfer, but takes 2-4 days instead. And the fault is always on their end. Think twice before you get this card!!
Till is awesome!!
I am brand new to Till but it has already exceeded my expectations with a quick no hassle account setup process and absolutely amazing customer service. If you have a question and contact them directly, they pretty much answer your question immediately and make you feel taken care of. I would highly recommend Till to anyone who wants to get their child used to the habits of earning, saving, and spending!
NEVER USE TILL
So i’m 17 years old and I had been using green light for a little while and I can’t remember why exactly we switched over to Till but we did and I was very happy with it at first. the app was relatively easy to use and the card was pretty but on a random Tuesday I had gotten a notification that $23 had been spent at target…I did not go to target…I was at cheer practice. So, I had texted my mom to confirm that she hadn’t used my card for something and she had told me that she thought I did and was confused as to why there was a purchase made. Not even 20 minutes later, another purchase had been made for around the same amount. at this point my card was now completely empty. so as a precaution i quickly locked my card. my mom had tried to contact costumer service that night but it turns out they don’t have a contact number…hmmm quite suspicious. so, at this point we had emailed Till and asked for some sort of refund and investigation. a couple days later another transaction had been made for $50 but my card had been locked so it declined. the next day, yet another transaction had been made with my card. it’s been about two weeks now and still nothing from Till. so i’m broke and don’t have a debit card. i still have no idea who got access to my card and how because my card is here with me and i did not give my information out to anyone. therefore, i will never be using Till again. do not use it unless u want complete strangers taking your money with no answers as to how and why.

Worst place to try to invest into. I had accounts setup for my kids, had funds into their account. And out of the blue Till Financial decide to close all my kids accounts without sending me any notice.
Till card - consider other options
We got a Till card for our son's school trip abroad. Before getting this card, there are a few things you should know:
1. You have to deposit money into your parent account before the money can be transferred to your child's account. This isn't instant and can take 3+ days especially if you initiate the transfer on a weekend (why this takes so long when everything is electronic is a mystery to me). Once you get the money in your account it takes another day to transfer to your child's account.
2. Customer service is via an email account with Till. They don't respond quickly. You can find a phone number to call online, but no one answers and you have to leave a message. They are not quick in returning calls.
3. My personal opinion - this is a start-up company, not a legit banking institution, so there really is no customer service and the product and user experience is very clunky.
I would look for other products.

I recently had a very frustrating experience with TILL FINANCIAL starting from their app and unhelpful customer service , overall it was very bad experience I don’t recommend it at all.

Absolute garbage company. My kids both had a card for about a week. We put $ in and were lining up chores and allowances and out of nowhere they closed the account. We emailed to ask why and they literally said "we cant tell you, but it's closed for good" almost like they were mocking us. If I had more $ in there than i did I would be livid.

My son just got money into his account and then the suspended my whole account. He had 100.54 deposited and no sooner than I checked it . Hell whipped my account. I can’t even do anything. So I called and I told them messing with my kids money is a big NO NO. They better some how get my sons money sent to me or they will be looking at a lawsuit against them. Here in Mississippi if it’s 100$ and more it’s a felony and I promise if he doesn’t have his money today off that account they will have f””king problems…..
