Been a great firm. Took some time to get all the accesses sorted out but these guys have honestly been a breath of fresh air.

honestly don’t know where to begin with how disappointing my experience has been with this accountant.

I first requested onboarding back in December, clearly explaining that the actual onboarding should begin in January as I had given notice to my previous accountant. Instead, nothing meaningful happened until the beginning of February — and even then, the only thing they seemed capable of doing was setting up a direct debit and taking their monthly fee.

Since then, they have continued to collect payments while delivering virtually no service whatsoever.

Communication has been an absolute nightmare. I have had to call over 20 times just to get through, often without success. Emails go unanswered, and there is no sense of urgency or professionalism.

To this day, I have still not received access to the bookkeeping app, which is a basic and essential part of the service I signed up for. No onboarding support, no setup, no guidance — nothing.

What I have received instead is stress, wasted time, and months of being completely ignored while they continue to charge me.

This level of service is unacceptable. I will now be proceeding with a small claims court action to recover my money and seek compensation for the months lost due to their inaction.

Avoid at all costs if you value your time, your business, and your peace of mind.

I recently moved my ltd company over to Helpbox. I liked the informative videos on YT and after that I spoke to them on to check out what they offered.

Although my previous accountant was very good I had to my cost cutting measures. I have so far received excellent service. Once things settle down after the transition I should make important savings whilst maintaining a professional level of service

I cancelled my company's contract (T3ABC Global Ltd) after deciding to handle my own accounting and regulatory filings. Despite clearly communicating this, I continued to receive repeated requests for authentication codes and prompts to allow filings on my behalf, which became frustrating.
There also appeared to be a lack of clarity around the underlying service agreement and terms. That said, once I formally escalated the matter, the team handled the cancellation professionally and ultimately waived the remaining term.
Overall, my experience was mixed — good resolution at the end, but avoidable issues along the way.

Helpbox Accountants Rob Allan and David Thorn have been an absolute lifesaver while I’ve been juggling two businesses. He’s incredibly knowledgeable, always quick to respond, and genuinely goes the extra mile to make everything easier to manage. Sivu was absolutely wonderful! Not only punctuality to the introductory meeting, but also kept it within the specified time frame, ending on the exact minute.

Despite having many requests from myself, Sivu has managed to answer and aid with each one in a timely manner, simplifying the requirements and actions throughout the process.

After an initial chat with Harvey, I’ve just had my onboarding call with Sivu and it genuinely exceeded expectations. She explained everything clearly — from the handover process to how HelpBox will get my accounts prepared before the end‑of‑May deadline. She even arranged a call with one of the accountants next week to go through my questions, plus a follow‑up. A brilliant start to working together and I’m feeling very positive about the switch.
