We got this put in in parkland place…
We got this put in in parkland place balintore nearly 2 weeks ago on the promise that we will get 500 speed which is a dose of grap we can't even get 1 device connected to it and it's not passing 10 speed and everything you phone they say it's fixed or looking into it then they say it's working perfectly maybe at their end but definitely and they had the cheek to take money out of the bank 5 days after getting this put in that we can't even use and all the idiots need to do is come back out and go to the green box at the back of my house and get the right wire but sadly nobody or shall I say is the silly woman that doesn't listen will listen to what we are trying to tell them and get an engineer out to the green box out the back I'm just wanting to tell them to stick their Internet so if I was you if your getting it get them to stay there till you get every device connected to it because it's bad when you can't even get 1 device connected to it

My broadband fibre was installed today. Darren and Ritchie were excellent at installing and wasted no time getting the job done. Ritchie explained everything in very easy to understand language and assisted in setting up a couple of devices to ensure I knew what to do. Once again great job, well done.

What can I say but a great efficient…
What can I say but a great efficient install. Richie and Darren installed from outside to inside with no mess and in good time. Once up and running everything worked perfect and Richie explained everything clearly and easy to understand so all our devices are now connected fuss free. Perfect guys.. Thank you.

Really poor and inconsistent communication
Really poor and inconsistent communication from staff over the weekend in response to a complete loss. Staff appeared to not know or be able to give details on procedures. Consistently told that someone would call back in x hours but they never did.
Contacted HB on Monday and to be fair they did send an engineer straight out who fixed the problem, however was told that complaints department would call back within 48 hours, it's now Thursday and guess what, nobody has called me back!
Update- shortly after submitting this review, I had a phone call and what felt like a genuine apology from Matt. He also stated that learning opportunities have been identified and he has put a small credit on my account. Upgraded to 3 stars.

John and Chris came to fit my broadband today.First class in every way.Explained the whole process and you would never know they were here as the garden is exactly as it was before they arrived.The lads are a credit to Highland Broadband.

It couldn't have gone better
It couldn't have gone better. A great team of guys, Lewis, Nicky, and Kenroy worked on the installation and in the rain to make sure we had the system running.
No fuss, very neat job and they did the vacuuming. Checked the main areas for WiFi connection, updated our devices and the best bit, they were happy and talkative, explained what would happen before it happened.

my wifi was working normally with ee…
my wifi was working normally with ee wifi and then they bloody put new cables and made everyone wifi worse so they want to make more money absolutely horrible and when i did get highland broadband they made my wifi worse as i couldnt connect and i paid for 500 mbps but im only getting 49 mbps absolutely bullshit

Nikki and Matt did an amazing amazing job. My father is 92 and still loves to do his research on his computer, watch TV and spend hours on the phone. The Highland Broadband team knew exactly what programme to put us onto, how our house configuration worked, and helped save us £12.50 a month!!

Threatening email
I was happy with my installation all being done on time and was told when I agreed to the contract that installation was done free of charge. I had to reply to BDUK to confirm that it was done satisfactory which I did the next day. I had further emails after that from BDUK so assumed I had not done it correctly so filled it in and submitted again. This happened 4 times in total. The thing that really bothered me was the threat email from Highland broadband that my service would be suspended if I did not do it. When I called to find out what the threat was for, I was told that they could see that I had in fact sent it and they were sorry. I shouldn’t have to do anything or be threatened for not doing something when I was told if was free! Threaten me again and you can suspend the service if you want. Plenty of providers out there that would be happy to take my business. Shocking treatment of a new customer.
