​Avoid Hiley at all costs. They took my money, delivered a completely defective product that does not work, and refuse to fix the situation in a timely manner. Support reps Chen and Luci have shown zero sense of urgency, constantly stalling instead of providing a working unit or a refund. Save yourself the headache and buy from a company that actually stands behind its products.

I bought a Hiley Tiger 10 v5 in September. Ive put a total of 173 miles on it, so still pretty new. A couple weeks ago while on the way home it made a loud humming noise and lost all power to the back wheel ( I was only using the back because the roads were wet and there is way too much torque in the front wheel for it to be safe on wet streets) it flashed 20H error and that was it, the back wheel no longer engages the display is on like normal. If I turn on the front wheel just the front works. I emailed the company since they have no phone number. They asked me to send a picture of my proof of purchase and a video of what it was doing. well as far as the video I sent one showing pushing the throttle and nothing happening. they said they couldnt open it, and want me to upload to google or something. I dont work with computers so this is asking too much. I work 2 jobs and they want me to keep screwing around. They said the error is the controller. but they need a video. A VIDEO OF IT DOING NOTHING?!?!?!?! their customer service is sending emails in the middle of the night, they will not supply a number so I can talk to someone. They said when/if they send the part I have to pay shipping for a defective part.. This company is garbage I hope they do not expect me or any person I know to ever purchase a scooter from this company again. less than 200 miles and an electronic part failed. Poor quality for the price. I bough this when it was still $2k, That is a huge portion of my income as a service worker. Do not buy from these people customer service is non-existent and obviously its built poorly. I can only deal with this on weekends and they are not available for reply so if Im able to get this settled its going to take weeks.
