I just wanted to take a moment to share how grateful I am for everything Hillshire Media has done for me. They’ve helped me publish two books, The Book of Questions: Extraordinary Thoughts for the First 100 Years of Cyberspace and A Brief History of Sin, and honestly, I couldn’t have asked for a better team to work with.

With A Brief History of Sin, they didn’t just print and publish it, they also took care of distribution all over the U.S., and even had copies delivered right to my door, along with a few lovely gifts. It really felt personal. The print quality was excellent, and now that I’ve started receiving royalties, it’s clear their process works.

They also helped design both book covers, built my author website, and handled the entire audiobook production for both titles. Every detail was handled with care and attention, and I always felt like I was in good hands. They’re not just professionals, they actually care.

Huge thanks to my amazing team: Aron Mathew, Jennifer, Mia, and of course Mr. Patrick Morgan. I honestly think of them as my “dream team” because that’s what they’ve been from the beginning, kind, supportive, and truly great at what they do.

I liked the fact that they created my dream book cover design, just the way I wanted. With that I attracted a lot of attention!

Very bad experience.

I paid $3500 for 7 podcast videos and spent 1+ year, they only made two videos and refused to deliver the rest because the hostess is no longer working for them. If so, they should refund me the rest of the $2500, right? Instead, they refuse to refund and insist that I should pay them $1500 more, so they can get another hostess to work with me.

Also, I was pushed to buy their three month social media marketing service. Their report says that they published eight articles on preeminent media, but you can never find them from google. Their excuse is that those articles have to be kept paying to maintain. Never heard such preeminent media😄
They also said that they paid $600 on Facebook to run ads for my book, but there is zero evidence this happened.

If it's not 100% fraud, it's at least 70-80% fraud.

Please be very careful!

Title: Service delivered but disappointing – my experience with Hill Shire Media

I hired Hill Shire Media for the design of my book cover, attracted by their promises of professionalism and attention to detail. While the team was polite and met the deadlines, the final product did not meet my expectations and did not justify the cost of the service.

Though I appreciated their courteous communication, there was no flexibility when I expressed that the design wasn’t suitable and that I would not be using it. I requested a partial refund, but they refused, citing their "service delivered = no refund" policy. This was despite my clear dissatisfaction and the fact that the design would not be used.

As a result, I had to create a new cover myself for the Amazon KDP launch, which required additional time and effort.

I’m sharing this review to warn other independent authors: if you decide to work with Hill Shire Media, make sure you have everything in writing and be aware that they do not offer a satisfaction guarantee. Polite communication is not enough if the client ends up unsatisfied with the final product.

Scam… avoid. Hillshire lead me on for months trying to sell me more and more packages. They say they’re American, but nothing is further from the truth. Even the names are fake. They never put out a book that could be read… just a really poorly made copy of what I sent them. The pages were printed on some cheap photo copy paper that blurs all the text. Unreadable. The entire experience went on for more months while they kept kicking the can. Finally I had enough of the lies and deceit and charged back my invoice….. do not believe th money back guarantee…. It’s a lie just like this flux company with their fake American names when they are clearly working from India or in that region. AVOID!

You can trust the grammar, diction, and work accuracy! I also feel that the charges are quite on a high side and that l fear may drive away potential customers as the latter look for moderate prices.
