Amazing experience!
Danny had an amazing wealth of knowledge and really had the children engaged.
Everything was clear, organised and well planned! Archery was amazing and most importantly, the children had massive smiles on their faces!
Cannot wait to see what the greek workshop will be like!

We have enjoyed another superb WWII day led by Gareth. The resources he brings really do allow the children to explore so many areas on learning and the fact that they can be hands on with each artefact makes such a difference. The class thoroughly enjoyed being ARWs during the outside activity and the first aid session was also a big hit. Gareth’s manner with the children, however, was what made the day. His knowledge is incredible, but the way he shares this with children is engaging, more than appropriate for their age, and inclusive of prior and anticipated learning. A simply brilliant day!

For the past few years we have had a different actor come and visit and so typically we are unfortunately comparing. The resources were great and the archery was enjoyed the most, however, the person who visited this time lacked enthusiasm and less humour. We always enjoy the day and will continue to book.

Tori led our workshop and we couldn't have asked for a more enthusiastic, organised and knowledgeable leader. Everything was explained so clearly and all of the activities planned were engaging, interesting and accessible for all children and really enhanced their learning of the Stone Age. We hope to have this workshop again next year. Thank you!

Hannah was great delivering our Great Fire of London workshop to year 2. She was very professional, arrived on time and had plenty of time to set up before the children came in. Hannah had great resources and very knowledgeable. She played the part well and dressed up for the day. Her resources were aimed at the correct level for the children and we all had a great day with her. Thankyou Hannah.

Rob was fantastic! Really informative, was in character throughout the day and the children thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Highly recommend.

A fully immersive Stone Age workshop for 90 children. Lots of fun and lots of learning -archery was definitely a highlight! Thanks Historic Workshops!

The leader, Kate, was friendly, positive and knowledgeable. She dealt with the caring needs and behaviour of the children well. The variety of activities were engaging and taught the children a lot. Even by break time the children were saying it was the best Friday ever!

A great day. We did the ancient Egypt workshop which was delivered by Gareth it was fantastic the children really enjoyed themselves. The different mix of activities kept the children engaged all day. They really enjoyed being scribes and writing on papyrus paper. Will definitely book again.

Romans workshop with Rob for KS1 (Year 2).
The company has been brilliant throughout the whole booking process. We were provided with all relevant documentation prior (risk assessments/schedule etc.)
Rob was engaging and communicated excellently with the children. He had fantastic subject knowledge and we could tell he was really passionate about history. The resources were brilliant and age appropriate. It was fully inclusive of all pupils. We definitely hope to book with Historic Workshops again. Thank you

We've used Historic Workshops for over 2 years now and are never disappointed. The amazing workshop providers arrive early, with boxes and boxes of engaging activities and artifacts and keep the the children captivated all day. We hope to use them for years to come.

A brilliant day for all of the kids. The kids thoroughly enjoyed all of the Anglo-Saxon artifacts and were engaged throughout the day.

The children had an absolutely brilliant day, our presenter was enthusiastic and got everyone involved. The resources were fantastic and overall it was an amazing experience.

Our instructor Tori was great and the children really enjoyed the day. Thank you!

We have now booked Historic Workshops for 4 years in a row and we will happily book again in the future. The process is very easy. The artifacts are great quality and the day is well organised . The children love it! Rob is brilliant, he engages the children all day and has great command of the classroom. Thanks again

The children thoroughly enjoyed every WWII activity - from the artefact investigation to first aid to the water activity. Gareth was so knowledgeable and it was wonderful to see him imparting all his wisdom in such a child friendly manner. We will definitely be inviting Gareth back to our school! Thank you again for an engaging and fun-filled day!

Gareth ran the workshop and was very knowledgeable and the children responded well to his teaching. He was inclusive and fun and kept to the schedule well. He supported the teachers well. Highly recommend. We will be booking next year.

The children and adults at Fynamore had a fantastic day with King Henry VIII (of Rochford)!! The day was packed with a wide range of engaging activities across both the morning and afternoon sessions, keeping everyone interested throughout. Every activity was inclusive meeting the needs of our children, making sure everyone could take part. The archery session was a particular highlight and was thoroughly enjoyed by the children. It was a memorable and enriching day for all those involved. Thank you!

Great day! Jess, our Roman historian, was very knowledgeable and was brilliant with the children. The Roman soldier part of the day was really fun, brought our classroom learning to life. I will recommend the company to other members of staff.

Quick responses to email queries. Detailed resources and risk assessments. Great delivery by Bethany, aka Elizabeth 1st!
