Avoid Passport Now and HitchSwitch at all costs. I paid over $100 through HitchSwitch for one of their packages, which included passport photo services through Passport Now, and the entire experience has been a complete nightmare.
I placed my order on April 12 and never received any confirmation email, update, or communication whatsoever. I gave it time, assuming they were processing it, but by April 27 I had to reach out to customer service myself asking where my order was. Nobody ever responded to me, but suddenly my order status changed to “shipped” and a tracking number appeared.
Except it was never actually shipped. All they did was create a USPS shipping label and never hand the package over to USPS. USPS has been “awaiting item” since April 27.
I reached out AGAIN on May 13 and still have not received a single response from anyone. No acknowledgment, no explanation, nothing. I also contacted HitchSwitch directly about the issue and received no response from them either.
At this point, both companies are responsible. This clearly is not the first complaint they’ve received about this issue, yet they continue partnering together and taking people’s money while providing nonexistent customer service. You cannot get ahold of anyone, nobody responds, and there is zero accountability.
It honestly feels like a scam. Save yourself the frustration and do not use Passport Now OR HitchSwitch.
