We like to have a bit of fun with our Sunday newsletters and do things a little differently. This week's email was a tongue-in-cheek series of fictional 'complaints' about our meals, intended to bring a bit of fun to everyone's inbox.
We weren't asking anyone to leave a review. The link simply took customers to their usual account page, as our Sunday emails always do, so they can easily make changes to their meals for the week ahead.

The food is genuinely tasty and prepared by local chefs rather than a big central factory. Good portions too. For example ths week i enjoyed the chicken tikka masala , rice and veg which had just the right amount of spice and was 5 minutes in the micro. And a beef and chorizo dish with patatas bravas and broccoli. Pretty healthy i would say and plenty of meat. (Veg dishes also). Delivery is brilliant in great packaging and, as has been said in other reviews, customer service unbeatable. Thoroughly recommended. Pete Hants

The quality of food from HomeCooks is a couple of levels above other companies I have tried. You can taste it, you can feel it in the texture and once you do you'll almost feel angry about the other places you tried first!

Tried the chargrilled chicken schwarma, absolutely delicious with plenty of chicken in the meal. The slaw was a lovely tasty addition. I have now ordered more so cant wait to eat them. Love the sustainable packaging too.
