Homehold and their solicitors LLS are super brilliant. From start to finish they were excellent. There was a reduction in fees due to my neighbour also joining up to extend his lease at the same time. The process was fairly quick - about 10 months. Homehold managed to secure a reduction in the premium payable to extend the lease, so I was delighted with that. All in all an excellent experience. The land registry took about a year to send through final papers due to backlogs but had I been selling my flat within that time Homehold would have got this expedited for me. The cost was payable in three stages as each part of the process was progressed. It was an upfront very reasonable cost with no hidden extras. I found Homehold whilst researching the process and reading an article on the Money Savings Expert website. Having read the reviews on here I decided to bite the bullet and go with them. So pleased I did. Nothing but praise for this company. Thank you to the owner and all the employees at Homehold and LLS for their professionalism, knowledge, helpfulness and patience with my queries. Fantastic bunch:)

We heard of Homehold through Martin Lewis/the money saving website so trusted they were legit. Homehold were excellent. Having them handle all aspects of the lease extension and automatically update us, even to confirm there was no current update, was so helpful. It meant we didn’t have to liaise between different parties and they did all the chasing. They always offered very helpful and sensible advice. The lease extension was completed with no problem.

The service provided was seamless in my opinion. At no point had I any cause for concern that my leasehold was not being managed competently, or within a timely manner, even when the other side was failing to meet its obligations in responsibility. They take care of everything. Extending my lease has been something I have been anxious about for a couple of years as knew the time was approaching. Didn't really know how to do it.
They made clear from start what the stages of the process are. The costs for their part of the process was clear from the start. I didn't have to worry about additional payments if there was a little bit more negotiation to be done with the other side.
