We had a home visit. From Annie & Graham from Romford branch They made us feel at ease & made a few suggestions as to what chair would be right for myself & my husband .They knew their jobs regarding sizes etc .so pleased we called them look forward to our new chairs .

Craig and Danny let us know when they would arrive, checked where the chair would be placed before bringing it in. Fitted legs and set chair in place. They were pleasant and friendly throughout.
Our visit to the showroom on 1st May in Stockport was very good and staff there were very helpful.

Martin and Jack delivered our stressless chair and footstool today. They were on time, friendly and efficient. The chair is great. Beautifully made and si comfortable. Hope our sofa is ready soon as we will be fighting over this chair.

Ian and Paul arrived promptly with my bed, worked efficiently and qickly to put it together, test it and instruct me on use of controls.
Also the ladies at Wellingborough showroom when looking at the beds were very knowledgeable and helpful.

My Wife and I purchased two riser/recliner chairs from Merry Hill branch of HSL. The staff at the showroom were welcoming and helpful. we were offered coffee and were shown a number of chairs and advised to try them to see what size size we needed. We chose the sizes and fabric after much useful advice. Delivery date was agreed and chairs delivered on time by Lee and Gary, ( Both cheerful polite and helpful) who assembled them and made sure all was safe and we
knew how to operate them. During our purchase we were made aware of all possible options. At no point were we pressured into buying. I fully recommend HSL

Friendly, helpful staff, good range of furniture to choose from. After a quick phone call to check if the chair I was interested in was in their showroom, I visited the Hedge End store. Maria was lovely from the start, she was very helpful and suggested trying other chairs to the one I was interested in before going back to the one I went in to see. I sat for a considerable length of time with cappuccino and biscuits looking at fabric samples. This gave me plenty of time to relax and see if this was the right chair for me. At no time was I rushed or pressured into anything. This is my second purchase from HSL and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. Thankyou again Maria for your friendly help and advice.

Just had my riser recliner armchair delivered and it works a treat. The salesperson Kayley at the Rayleigh Branch was helpful and made sure that I received the chair that I needed. The Delivery specialists who installed it James & Louie where helpful and on realising that I had ordered casters with the chair and it would not work, where I was putting it, they stayed to change the casters for feet. That is going above and beyond. Overall, I have had a positive experience with HSL. Yes, I could have a chair cheaper from another company, but I would not have received the same quality, service, and colour I wanted.

Simon at Plympton HSL chairs was very helpful and informative. He fitted the chair to my elderly mothers needs. Every thing was explained.

I have had a very nice experience with Annette and Johnny plus one other colleague who came to my home from HSL in Milton Keynes. Following a phone call to make contact an appointment was soon arranged. I suffer from osteoarthritis in my back and Annette was excellent in her knowledge, information and care for my needs. There was no pressure to buy but I very much liked what I saw and look forward to the extreme comfort in the recliner I have chosen. The friendliness from Annette was a joy and the two gentlemen did not make any moan as they had to carry the samples up one flight of stairs to my flat .. on a very hot day. I am very grateful to them all and especially Annette, she is a real credit to the Company. Thank you all.

We visited the Truro branch where we were looked after by Helen. Our experience was excellent. No pressure to buy, a relaxed environment. Very professional.

As HsL customers for years, my wife and I recently made a repeat visit to the Exeter Store several months after water damaged the building and carpeting. Nothing has been done to re-carpet the now bare concrete floor leaving an appearance of a tatty warehouse. More importantly MANY CUSTOMERS ARE ELDERLY and THEIR SAFETY IS AT RISK as chairs can now move when trying them. My wife has a long term ankle problem and was certainly nervous when in the store.
I would add that the Store Manager Alison was a credit to HsL with her diplomacy, help and knowledge. We will return - hopefully to a refurbished Store very soon.

The whole experience of getting help to choose the correct bed , and extras was expertly discussed by the 2 gentleman that came today , both extremely polite and helpful the were brilliant, thank you so much , a very happy customer I am ,
