Absolutely Inept and Incapable
This has to be the most incapable, inept group of financial advisors and funds management people. Their absolute inability to communicate in a timely manner, provide advisors and staff that know how to process requests, and ultimately manage anyone's funds astounds me. What started as a simple Traditional IRA rollover to this company, because it's the new funds management company that our employer chose, has been ongoing for over 2 months. The initial request was submitted at the end of January. They finally scheduled a meeting with the originating financial group, where both myself, and the representative from Edward Jones, waited for over 15 minutes while they were "working" on the request. When I finally said, "What are we waiting on?", the response was "Oh.. I thought you guys were doing something". She was completely unaware of a LOI or LOA for transfer of funds, completely dumbfounded when THE EDWARD JONES ADMINISTRATOR had to EXPLAIN TO HER HOW TO DO HER JOB, and then proceeded to never follow up. They finally got me over the forms, where I signed and returned within 30 minutes, and it's been stale since. I had to reach back out again, and ask them what the status was, and they COULDN'T EVEN RETRIEVE A DOCUMENT THAT WAS UPLOADED TO THEIR PORTAL UNDER THE SAME REQUEST! I have no other words for this company, other than I trust my children managing my futures and funds, more than I trust this group of people; and they're still in grade school.

Avoid this Company
I'm giving Human Interest 1 Star because it won't let me give Zero Stars. This company is highly predatory and NOT small business friendly. My fees went through the roof after a year. I complained and the lady I spoke to agreed the fee I was paying was insanely high for an individual 401k. She lowered it to $43 per month. Then my fees went through the roof again to $219. I paid thousands more in fees than my 401k was even worth. I sold my business and had to close my 401k and move it into an IRA. They charged me fees to close it that were nearly the value of my 401k. This company is so immoral and what they do to small businesses should be criminal.

I am a Teacher
I am a Teacher. They refuse to release my funds and close my account - even though I am no longer required to contribute to PERA! My company no longer contributes either but they are holding my funds, just being mean for no reason and they refuse to help - they just keep denying the requests over 10 times!! This should have been closed out 6 months ago. How are they allowed to be in business?!
