No issues with the quality of the soundproofing that has been installed hence why given two stars. However, absence of any communication before the job, they didn’t come to survey or request photos so claimed they didn’t know they needed to remove the original ceiling. Clear to see if they had visited as window frames are so high to ceiling. The team who did the job disappeared for hours for lunch. They refused to take responsibility for cleaning the rubbish from their own work leaving me with additional hassle and cost. Ruined some custom made blinds and refused to reduce cost to compensate for this.

Terrible and incompetent company. Back in May, I’ve spoke with them to address my impact noise issues with my bedroom wall and after days of going back and forth with them, they just started the whole discussion from scratch while ignoring the whole original thread like it never happened. After I asked them to re-read the original discussion, they completely ignored my emails.
Few days ago (December) I’ve received an someone else’s assessment from this same company and completely unrelated to my original issue.
How can anyone use a company with such a bad tracking system and if they just ignore customers in the middle of the job description?

We had a wall in our offices that backed onto another company and you could hear every conversation. Hush Soundproofing gave us a quote we accepted they came back the next week lagged the wall and put soundproofing up. They returned to plaster and painted the wall. They did an excellent job and left the office clean and tidy.

Guys really good, sadly to say noise from above only slightly improved, lot off money spent ( £13,000) not worth it. Date was 2023 Feb

"We live in a semi detached house where the walls are wafer thin to say the least so we regularly hear our neighbours. Unfortunately our elderly passed away and the thought of new neighbours was concerning us. I reached out to Stephen to get a quote and he was very responsive and answered all my questions so I proceeded. The guys that completed the work were friendly and worked efficiently. The nature of the work is naturally messy but they covered everything up and there was minimal cleaning for me. The room is now ready for us to paint. We have tested and it does appear to be a marked improvement and we will know for sure once the new neighbours move in. I plan to get the downstairs done at some point."

Fantastic results on soundproofing our bedroom. We had the floor and party wall in our master bedroom soundproofed using their independent wall system, and the reduction in sound is almost total. The plug points and coving were restored and the wall was replastered ready for decorating. They put down dust sheets and were careful to hoover up after. We only had to do a modest cleanup after they had cleared out.
Despite some delays due to a vehicle breakdown, the crew completed the job in time. They put in some extra hours to make up, and were polite and clean throughout the process. I talked with the manager throughout the process and he was very pleasant.
We're planning to have some more spaces in our home fitted with the same solution, and we're more than happy to use Hush again for this.
As someone who is sensitive to neighbour noise, I couldn't be happier. Highly recommended.

After months of interrupted sleep and several unsuccessful DIY soundproofing attempts, I realised that effective soundproofing is best left to professionals. I contacted Stephen at Hush Soundproofing who was extremely helpful in assessing the problem and suggesting the best solutions. He and his team are clearly knowledgeable and experienced soundproofing experts and I'm delighted with the dramatic reduction in noise that they have achieved. Highly recommended.

The team made an appointment and then was able to come a week earlier which was fantastic. The team are Professional, Great, superb aswell as exceptional workmanship, and nothing is too much trouble for them. A team of genuine experts, i would always choose them again and again, If you ever want soundproofing you need hush!

Bad experience. No communications whatsoever, took 3 days longer than planned, but company didn't deem necessary to let me know they were running late and instead left my flat in complete chaos (with empty coffee cups, loose blades, timber, boards and piles of dusts) for three days before returning, Had to repeatedly email them to know when they would be back.
Also cracked my wooden floor and refused to take any responsibility for it.
Be aware that "ready for decoration" actually means the ceiling will need replastering, which they charge an extra 500£ for. None of this was clarified at first.
Wished I had paid a little bit more for a better job.

I don't like leaving negative reviews but unfortunately the service was shockingly chaotic, frustrating and unprofessional.
I kept being promised that people would be arriving on specific days only for nobody to turn up with no contact & various reasons given later such as family death, a car accident & flooding. I had to unload the job materials from the delivery driver myself as they didn’t show up.
Eventually when they did arrive they were very nice but ran out of time so I had to wait days for a plasterer. The work itself was not the worst but there were issues that spoiled it such as using damaged boards then repairing them with filler, putting silicone sealant where plaster was due to go over & putting the skirting board on top of the carpet so the board is higher where it meets the other ones & can never get my carpet out again without damaging it.
The plasterer was very skilled & could have done a great job but there were a few problems especially lower down, the wall.

Excellent job provided by Steve and team. They were professional, always here when they said they were going to be, clean, tidy and completed a brilliant job. Wouldn’t hesitate in recommending and if ever I needed the same or similar job doing, they’d be the first and only company I’d use.
