Started a free trial of HyperHuman Creator ($280/year) on May 5, 2026. Trial ends May 12.
Tried to cancel the same day. The "Cancel subscription" button in the app opens a dialog titled "Subscription Successful" saying "We are currently processing your subscription information. This will not take more than 12 hours. Please try again later." It does not actually cancel anything. Repeated attempts show the same dialog.
The Stripe billing portal linked from the app has no cancellation option either — only payment method and billing info. This is unusual, since Stripe normally exposes a cancel button by default; it has to be deliberately disabled by the merchant.
I have screenshots of both. I see from other reviews here that this is a known pattern and that Deemos resolves it manually via email after several days. With only 7 days until auto-charge, that is not acceptable.
Sending an email to them now. Will update this review based on the response.
