Match should just cease to exist. Upfront, registration is a challenge in terms of really just not asking enough of the right questions. Like eH, you have to go a long way into the site to get prici... Mehr ansehen

Beware of This Site
I joined Match with high hopes but was disappointed at every stage of my time on the site. I paid over $400 for a year of service with elevated access. Over three months, I had access for only a quarter of the time because Match falsely blocked (twice) me after I reported (twice) scams on the site - which they agreed were improper accounts.
Their Customer Care team failed to read my emails accurately and instead replied with AI generated automated responses and once sent me a reply directed to another member. They also refuse to provide any evidence of what they consider my inappropriate action.
The Resolutions team - which the online message states to contact - was also unresponsive
They then charged me roughly $75 for a service I never requested and could never use because I was blocked.
Match may not be responsible for the high number of scammers on the site, but it does not take customer concerns seriously. It also does not provide any means to speak with a representative and unilaterally refuses to allow a customer to appeal once the “Care Team” makes its decision. All of this without providing ANY evidence of my wrongdoing - because it does not exist.
In short, I had $500 taken from a “service” that does not require evidence on their part and denies me any concept of due process.
A.I. just want to give you a heads up!
’m not a smoker, drinker, drugs, Im not a partier and I don’t go to bars to meet people. So I’ve used online dating since I was very young, even when it wasn’t online, it was just in the News Paper back then. So recently I decided to try match.com after spending just 1 month on eharmony where I met my wife who past of breast cancer. That was over 18 years ago. eHarmony had changed and was full of scammers and fake profiles. I’ve found the same is true with match.com. Fake Hearts being given out. Fake People. Fake Profiles. I honestly think people aren’t connecting out there and in order for the dating sites to survive they have to create or allow other people to create, hundreds of fake profiles so they can bluster their numbers. Red Flags: People who want to immediately take you off the platform and get you personal phone number but won’t give you theirs. People who have one picture up and no info on their profile. People who have no sense of humor and talk like computers. A.I. is now being used the carry on Conversation, whether it’s a real person behind it or not, who knows any anymore these days. People who never seem to answer your questions they just have questions for you, mostly about your information and your phone number. Women who look like models & porn stars. I’ve been told by an inside source that these sites/ businesses, actually have people working for them as fake singles and when they see there’s little to no activity on someone’s profile, they contact them to keep them interested in dedicated to the Site with no intention of carrying through on anything. I’ve had people I’ve talked to for Several days, everything seemed fine according to them on their end and then they simply disappear. Did you know, you can Tell an Advanced A.I. system, one sentence and that A.I. system can write a full book from just that one sentence. So Yes. Digital Catfishing. I am now working on the ground. Meeting people face to face. Joining Groups because Corporate Dating sites are about the bottomline….Profit over People.
Scammers
Awful! I've tried cancelling my subscription and it won't let me. I've cancelled through my bank and instructed them not to allow any more payments to come off. Utter scammers! Makes me sick, never again! I'll happily go to court to expose them.

Extremely disappointed in this experience. This was my first time to try a dating site and 24 hours in I determined it was a waste of money. Fake people contacting me and wasting my time. Most likely they were trying to lead me into a scam trap. Why else would they play that stupid game. I should have trusted my instincts and not joined.
If I could leave “0” Stars
If I could leave “0” Stars, I would. Don’t be fooled by these scammers. After you “think” you’ve left, they will keep charging your card until kingdom come. I have no idea why they’ve never been shut down by kaw enforcement. I now have to take legal channels to get my money back.

These weirdos banned my account for no apparent reason. No explanation was given either. Just a bunch of idiots running a website that should've been shut down a long time ago.
Not good for females in DFW area over age 40
.Female over age of 40 signed up for 1 month. In over 100 profiles/likes of guys who liked me, it was the bottom of the barrel looks. Im not a beauty queen but these guys who were 40s and 50s looked to be im their 70s. Also many would lived out of state and were atheists which I clearly put on my profile I do not want. The only half way decent looking guy turned out to be a fake profile that match.com emailed & said was a fraud

Cancelled my subscription shortly after singing up, however they're still taking money from me. I tried contacting the customer care team (actually doesn't exist) it's an automated service with no chance of communicating with anyone. I received the same automatic response each time. I now have to change banks to stop the automatic payments coming out.
Again it's a scam site, DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BANK DETAILS
Don't waste your money
Don't waste your money. I admit that I am fussy but the decent men on this site are few and far between. I had up to 100 profile views each day but hardly any of the men send messages. I don't like to be the first to message but on the rare occasion that I did, there was eiher no response or a rather strange one. I think that there are also a lot of fake profiles on there. It may work for some but for me it was a waste of time and money.

Being charged for a recurring subscription that I did not sign up for
I signed up for Match.com sometime last year to check if it would be right for me. I paid about $60 for a trial membership and cancelled soon after when I realized that the website kept asking for more money to connect with my matches. I stopped using the site after that.
1 Yr later I find that my Paypal account is being billed for $108.83 every 6 months for subscription that I did not sign up for. When I tried to Peoplemedia.Inc at the number provided 866-727-8920 there was an automated message asking me to sign in at the website and cancel the recurring subscription. I have made multiple attempts to sign in using the email I had used but have been unable to. I requested a password rest link but got no replies. In the meantime I have paid for subscription that I have been unable to use.
I want to warn people to be very careful before signing up for a free or trial subscription as the website will sign you up for a recurring subscription without your knowledge that you will be unable to cancel.
This website is a total SCAM Don't say later that you didn't know and were not warned

very very expensive but lots of people on here
Match.com is a scam.
They are a scam. No hope of finding anyone I would be interested in. Don't make the same mistake.
I had been using Match on and off for…
I had been using Match on and off for many years , during the pandemic i tried signing on and my account was gone, i sent a email and i was banned for going against their rules , i read it and i figured this must be a mistake or someone stole my email info which i have had since 1996 , the Match Group of companies banned me from all there sites without giving me an opportunity to see evidence, or even as much give me a review .I have never once been banned or violate any online rules ever. Simply check my history and they would have simply seen it was either an error or fraud on my account .They chose not to give me due process, so i have decided to take this all the way to the FTC and the Attorney General i am hoping someone at the Match group will see this or the many emails i have sent, latest ones today .I got banned after paying with no reimbursement or no explanation of what i did
Don't Use Match! Frauds!
Opened a profile, paid 3 month subscription. Profile and photos approved. Began to view profiles and was locked out. No warning. No explanation. I hadn't even contacted anyone. Customer service refused my inquiries. All was silence. Finally, found a place to appeal a banned account. Submitted my questions and situation, and got answer I was banned for violating standards. How? I had a profile they approved and I hadn't talked to anyone. Worst is that because I bought it thru Google Play, they took my money connected me with Match, and said they had successfully supplied the service. So credit card dispute rejected. Match is such a scam. Frauds. And just take the money with extremely poor customer service.
Very expensive and the customer service…
Very expensive and the customer service is absolutely horrible! There are so many other dating sites out there that are not only better , but less expensive .

This company is a joke and scam
This company is a joke and scam. Joined membership and get suggestions 3 hours away, cant communicate with potential dates and have same benefits as free members.
It's a scam
It's a scam. Do not give them any money EVER. Every time you log in you will see about 40 new views of your profile. Then you check when those 40 people were last online.......7 days ago, 30 days ago, 3 months ago lol. It's just a scam, these viewers do not exist! In fact it's 95% scammers and bots. Also.....OUR TIME is the same thing as MATCH and rips off in the same ways. AVOID BOTH !!
Too many inactive profiles
haven't been on match in 10 years. I use to love it now its changed for the worse. Now its like Tinder in that you swipe on peolpe. Then if you swipe right on 5 people you have 5 discussions to deal with. That is overload. You use to be able to just add peolpe to your favorite list then get to them whne you want.
they also hide many profiles. I gte a daily email of matches and there are always 2-3 that I have nevr seen that meet my search criteria and sshould show on a manual search. Ialso get 3-4 where the profile is unavailable.
I've had a few women on my LIke list for 6 months now that have NEVER been online according to match's indicators. The keep them there so they can say they have so many active members.
Unfortunatly all there competitors are the same way
