I have been listening to AM talk radio…

I have been listening to AM talk radio probably before many of you people were born! For the past 5 days I will go out to my vehicle and puff on a cigar. 21 times IN A ROW I turned on the radio to hear some of my favorite talk show hosts, and,,, commercials commercials commercials!! 21 TIMES IN A ROW. Are you getting this?
21 times. And you jerks have the audacity to ask your listeners for help "save AM radio". Thanks to your disgusting greed, radio is NOT worth saving anymore! To bad Trump can't come in and clean your crooked house too.

Forcing me to change email…

I wrote a review about this company yesterday. I tried to call them today to stop sending these unwanted news emails. Basically it was a number for advertisers do want to know about our digital advertising? What a bunch of B. S. They’re not really interested in provided a service to music listeners. Spotify does. Have I ever received a political news email Never. I’ve subscribed to them for years. Iheart never subscribed to anything downloaded the app and put my email. That was open season for them to make money for their advertisers. Hard to believe Google isn’t even that bad. I can block and send to spam their email. I have a lot of email coming to my Gmail account someone told me to delete this email account. I would have to do some work to change my email. But with this company responsive to businesses not people I just might have to do that.

iHeart most recent update (on ios…

iHeart most recent update (on ios devices) needs to be scrapped and reverted back to previous version. App completely restarts each time vehicle is shut off and restarted. Prior to update the app would pick up where it stopped (this is specific to podcasts). The updated Now Playing is a much less user friendly then the prior Episode view where the user could easily ff and rewind from 1 view. The Now Playing view is unnecessary and degrades usability.
Your Library has been dropped to the center of the view. Move Your Library back to the top of view above Presets.

TOO MANY COMMERCIALS

Hear me out….I LOVE that I can listen to radio on my phone. Especially the Steve Harvey morning show! But, they play soooooooo many commercials. And I know this helps pay for the app but these people will play 5 commercials in the MIDDLE of 1 song 🤦🏾‍♀️. They’ll cut Steve Harvey off in the MIDDLE of talkin like 4 times to play commercials. It’s really not worth it to even use this app because you can’t enjoy the music or the show you’re listening to 🤦🏾‍♀️.

IHeart Management are a bunch of Losers

I have been an avid listener of WOR for many years. The Morning Show with Len Berman and Michael Riedel has been my favorite since Michael joined the show 5 or 6 years ago. Then one day last month they canned both Len and Michael. I believe they enjoyed the highest rating for their time slot. I loved their chemistry and content. Even though Joe Barlet retired at the end of last year, Larry Mendte was a good replacement and long time Producer, Natalie Vacca has always been a favorite of mine. I feel bad for Larry and Natalie having to fill 4 hours each morning. I have nothing against them, but it does not work for 4 hours, and it is obvious they are in a tough spot having to do so. WOR and/or IHeart Radio management must be a bunch of nitwits. I have stopped listening to IHeart Radio and will likely never return. Some of their other WOR talents are okay, but none as good as Michael and Len. Horrible decision with a cost!

Firing of KFI talent.

I listened to KFI both over the air and using the IHeart app but mostly with the app as I have moved out of the LA area. I travel in and out of Southern California

When I learned that IHeart fired most of the news staff at KFI, I decided to fire IHeart.

I am no longer interested in using the IHeart app… Done and gone!

Make a positive change with your KFI station- the best in the west. Let me know…

Annoying, repetitive AD's

I have been using Iheart media for a couple of years now, and it has progressively gotten worse. The AD's play over and over every 15 minutes, (MORGAN JEWELERS, ANY HOUR SERVICE, LEAF GUARD, and the medication ads, are just relentless. Like other users have mentioned, the app just stops. It has done this to me a few times, which is inconvenient, but not too annoying. I feel I am being generous giving 3 stars, but seriously get a handle on the repetitive AD's! I know the ad sponsors pay you to play their commercials and keep your app free, but it's too much.

Way to many advertisements

Way to many advertisements. I literally listened to nearly 10 minutes ( maybe more, i stopped counting) of advertisements. Completely missed important announcements i wanted to hear from the station. I'll rather listen someplace else. They can keep it.

Absolutely the worst app on the market

Absolutely the worst app on the market. Constantly shuts down especially after having to listen to TEN commercials back to back. This issue is not to be confused with buffering. It literally shuts down What’s worse is that I’ve listened to 4 Dejardain insurance commercials within the 10 block set. Ironically the app just shut down again while typing this review. Absolute garbage app. One of the questions in the review model is the date of occurrence- the option of “daily” is not there but it does occur every single day. Don’t know who in their infinite wisdom at newstalk 1010 opted for this streaming service but they should start looking elsewhere for their listeners. Oh good….another Desjardain commercial- brutal

It's not the program but false…

It's not the program but false advertising from the State of Florida that is now everywhere on the podcasts. Corporations are not doing what they are saying in the commercials and figuring out how to make a complaint is IMPOSSIBLE and for that IHeart is Terrible

Worst app ever

Worst app ever. They play the same commercials at every single commercial break. Often playing the same commercials multiple times multiple times during the same break. The commercial will follow you across different stations. No respect for the listeners and zero consideration for the advertisers as the customer will turn down the volume and blow past the entire commercial break. I've reported this over and over again and they simply don't care. Try to give these guys feedback or call. They are a joke. I listen to two stations daily and the volume button is the only way to get to content. Silence mode during the breaks.
They would never pull this stunt on regular radio. Complete horse skata

The app takes too long to load pods

The app takes too long to load pods. The thing that prompted this 1 star review is the way they jam commercial blocks right in the middle of a sentence. I'm going to try some different platforms and see if it's any better.

My opinion on this site

With this app you can either install the app or you can use it on Google. I am very pleased with the quality and experience. You can pay a premium or you can listen to the free version. With the free version you do have a limited number of skips, but other than that it is a really good app.

No option to mark all podcasts as played

My favorite podcast has 4k episodes. There is no option to mark all as played. There is no option to play only the download podcasts. On my commute to work I start with the second from last airing. When that episode is done iHeart plays some random podcast from years ago.

way too many ads !!!

I follow just a single podcast: TechStuff.
I am not interested on anything else on that network, need just the tech, BUT, every episode of TechStuff has a lot of ads about all the other podcasts which I am never interested in.
AND the worst part, AD quantity in increasing exponentially: latest episode i listened to was 52 minutes long, had 16 minutes of ads, which means 30% of the episode is ads.

This is too much, and it leaves me one choice: move to something else.

Thanks for the time with this podcast, never again iheart....
