Though i could get credits really fast and its literally slower then actual school. DO NOT RECOMMEND

The courses was fine. But the proctor did not show up for the final exam, which was held after work hours on the weekend and they do not have any customer support outside of business hours. Kind of ridiculous to schedule meetings or exams when there is no support as anything could go wrong. Also their phone support system is terrible. It gives many options but it seems that there is actually just 1 person at the other end. If there is more than one person in line it just ends the call.

As a teacher, the ENG4U content is an old format, the criteria is unclear which leads to wild inconsistencies with marking. Terrible course all around. I do not recommend.

I can’t tell you how much I regret not looking at reviews for this ‘school’, I’m posting this review on as many platforms as I can to say: if you can, avoid TVO ILC!!
I am a 20 year old student who struggles with ASD and intense Anxiety, when it came to completing in person high school I struggled extremely. I completed my Grade 12 education through OVS (wonderful alternative to this organization) But with OVS being a little out of budget I decided to complete some extra prerequisites for university through TVO. I cannot express the extent of my regret with that decision.
The only positive thing about TVO is the price point, but it seems as though you get what you pay for! Practically zero communication with teachers (or anybody for that matter), I faced extreme difficulties when I attempted to contact guidance after WEEKS of being denied my accommodations although I uploaded all the correct documentation. After reminding them of my rights and making them aware that I am aware, they seemed to fall to their knees pretty quickly.
It seems that anybody you speak with (if you manage to speak to someone) is either incompetent or it’s their first day on earth and they’ve been hired to work here.

I’ve seen others posting about issues with their AI detector and I can attest that I’ve also encountered this issue. Mind you, I’m currently enrolled in their Chemistry, Biology and Advanced Functions courses. I guess formulas we’ve been using for decades are now considered AI. And before you think to yourself, ‘Maybe a Bio or Chem report got flagged for AI’, oh you sweet sweet soul… The flagging I received was for a math assignment which required zero paragraphs or more than one sentence!!

Moving onto their grading. What is there positive to say about this? Zilch. Despite my struggles with attending school, I receive high 80’s to high 90’s in my courses. Which remains true with TVO. However. You will be waiting much longer than their “5 Day Marking Period”. The fact that you can only submit one assignment at a time is appalling considering the length it takes to get your f-ing grades back! Speaking of lengths of time in which you can complete things, let’s talk about the exam! Now. I have been waiting for this mystical email containing the link to do my exam for a month and a half. After contacting them for the third time about this email, they have found another way to stall me. They claim that my ID doesn’t match the address on file. This effectively blocks you from accessing or further completing your courses until you update it which, you guessed it! Takes around another week. Why my address matching to my ID is pertinent, I’m not sure. I guess they’re desperate to send me old fashioned mail, anything that takes the longest!

Apologies for the lengthy review and rant, I feel like it was necessary and at this point, unavoidable, as the stress this has put on me trying to make deadlines for early acceptance has finally gotten to me.
TDLR: AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!!! lol

I applied for online learning for my child due to tragic circumstances. However, they stole my money deny the application. The supervisor Ben who has zero common sense and gives me cocktail of stories as to why he deny it. The court will love to hear about this.

I am currently taking Math gr 12 and the assignment are inconsistly corrected. There is not grid for how the points are being awarded or deducted. Sometime you lose full mark for not being formatted ( not even specified how) and sometime you lose half a point.

Since it's fully online, it take 3-5 business days to get your answers to your question. If there was a chat in the course, is would solve a lot of feedback issues.

Would give zero stars if possible. Nobody answers the phone or emails. Just an auto response to the ‘support’ email address. Glad we discovered this before enrolling. Try reaching this organization with questions before paying any money. You will have your answer.
