Just returned home from what can only be described as a once in a lifetime adventure. Although our initial itinerary was completely thrown out of the window by Mother Nature, we had an amazing adventure with Sanjeev and his amazing team. The team had our comfort and safety at the forefront of everything they did and we never felt anything other than safe and cared for. We were supposed to visit the highest passes and valleys of the Ladakh region, however with so many roads closed or completely washed away, rockslides and passes inaccessible we had no other option but to follow the guidance of our amazing team who’s local knowledge and care guided us back to Delhi and safety whilst enjoying some of the best riding experiences we have ever had. We endured some of the most unique and challenging conditions any of Sanjeev’s tours have ever experienced and although we didn’t do the tour we expected we weren’t disappointed. It just means we might have to return for a second tour! We can’t recommend India motorbike tours highly enough they were exceptional on every level, from the well maintained motorcycles we rode, the accommodation we stayed in, the food we ate and their local knowledge that kept us safe ( this is exactly why we chose a local tour group for our trip).

I have just completed the Buddhist trail 17 day motorbike trip organized by Sanjeev.
I arrived a few days early to acclimatise and the weather was beautiful but as soon as the tour was supposed to start the rains came (we were there august24 -sept 9th 2025).
The rain was the worst the area has seen in over 76 years !! All the roads in and out of Leh were closed and the airport was shut! There were power cuts and the phones weren't working ! So we're left in limbo not knowing what we would do next.
But luckily we had Sanjeev and it was decided we would change the route to go to Hanle (on to Umling La) and go round in the opposite direction to what was originally planned.
We set off the following day for a trip of a lifetime!
The riding is the best I've ever experienced!
The scenery is just breathtaking!
I seemed to think every day couldn't get better but it does !
We had some really bad road conditions with road closures due to landslides and shooting rocks and whole roads collapsing but that just added to the adventure.
The bikes were well maintained and we had no real issues apart from a flat tyre on the last day which was fixed really quickly!
We had three lead riders in total as we were crossing different districts and all three (Rigi, Dawa and Sanjeev) were excellent.
They soon realised we could ride bikes so there was no holding back.
The hotels were all very good.
Some were basic the higher up you got and most had spectacular views .
The food was always plentiful and tasty and we always had enough water.
We had lots of issues with roads being closed but the guys always had a solution so never felt worried.
It must have been really difficult for Sanjeev as he didn't want us to be stuck somewhere which could really happen as routes back to Delhi were often shut but he handled it without an issue.
Even when I got back to Delhi I had a few days spare so he organised a trip for me with driver, guides and hotels to Agra which really finished the trip off nicely.
I really cannot recommend Sanjeev highly enough and already planning to come back soon

I cannot recommend Sanjeev and India Motorcycle Tours enough. We bought the Himalayan Odyssey tour, starting from Delhi and lasting for 10 days.

From the moment we reached the airport we were accomodated very well. We had a driver take us from the airport straight to the first hotel - they even gave us a wreath of flowers which was completely unexptected.

The hotel stays were always brilliant, from the hotel in Delhi to our highest altitude hotel near Chandra Taal (at an elevation near 5000m). Always we had a comfortable bed, shower and toilet facilities, and warm hospitality.

The food was delicious and always plentiful. We were really shown the best quality North Indian food during this trip.

We had a support car with us, which was a great addition to the trip - we didnt have to carry any luggage during the trip, and simply rode with ourselves on the bikes. This also meant we had a ready supply of water and snacks if we needed it, but also Sanjeev made sure to have safety equipment on hand, even for altitude sickness which we were not expecting. I brought my own medication for the trip for altitude sickness and did not even have to use it, however, because the route was well planned and I only got an altitude headache once in the whole trip when we were above 5000 metres altitude. But we specifically rode and stayed in places to acclimatise to the increasing altitude and that made a huge difference.

The bikes we were on were brilliant; nimble, responsive, well looked after. And the support van came with a mechanic so we were able to have as mamy tweaks and accomodations as we liked on them (I got the suspension adjusted as I had a pillion, for example).

But Spiti valley and the roads themselves were the highlight of the trip. With Sanjeevs expert guidance we were shown some of the most remote and beautiful places this world has to offer. I have done a few motorcycle trips now and have never seen anything like these mountains. Snow capped, full of beautiful and technical switchbacks, sometimes with moon-like black sand stretching out for miles before you, and with all sorts of animals adorning the hill sides and roads. This tour has curated some of the best scenery the region has to offer, and still leaves you wanting to come back and explore more. All the while keeping you feeling safe in the knowledge you have support, with a group of people who are all just as awestruck as you.

If it hasnt been made clear yet, this was a lifechanging experience for me. I will have to come back some day to see more, because once simply isnt enough to take in the beauty of this region and the Himalayan mountains. I hope i can come back with India Motorcycle Tours to help guide me as I couldnt dream of a tour operator that is more accomodating and supportive than they were.

Ive just completed the India Motorbike Tour ‘Indian Himalayas Escapade’ - 13 days of sensational motorbike riding, cultural immersion and awe inspiring scenery.
Our trip coordinator and ride captain, Sanjeev Jaswal, was simply exceptional. His communication during the research and booking stage was professional and punctual, the payment process straightforward and reliable, and his wealth of knowledge of the mighty Himalayas and motorbike touring boundless.
He was very ably assisted by his back up driver and mechanic Rakesh - he kept every bike in top working order, was always ready to assist, and impeccably polite.
Sanjeev and his team were without doubt the catalyst for our unforgettable and highly successful tour of the Indian Himalayas - I cannot commend India Mororbike Tour highly enough to anyone considering a trip to the high mountains of India.

Sanjeev and his team made my dream of riding through the Himalayas with friends so unforgettable! From his correspondence in the planning phase, right through to days we spent with him and his expert mechanic, Rakesh, out on the northern Indian roads, the experience was so seamless. The route was challenging, but witnessing the landscape of the highest mountains in the world by motorbike was such a rewarding experience. The bikes never missed a beat, the northern Indian cuisine was exquisite and the choices of quality accomodation gave us a real insight into Indian culture.
What has stuck with me is Sanjeev’s professional, friendly and caring nature. He has a wealth of knowledge about the areas we travelled through, and his story telling and great humour made him a pleasure to converse with after a day’s ride. Memories of our Himalayan trip will stay with me for the rest of my days and woven into these memories is Sanjeev and Rakesh. I am so grateful.

I've recently returned from a 10 day himalayan odyssey trip 😀 everything was very well organised. sanjeev and his team were available to help with everything. nothing was to much trouble. Very knowledgeable about the areas we rode through food and accommodation was excellent the royal enfield bike is perfect for the trip 👌. I would definitely recommend this trip to anyone seeking adventure.

Having done the Himalayas with Indian Bike Tour last year, we were so well catered for that we decided to do the Rajasthan Desert this February. There were six of us looked after by four people from the Company and nothing was ever too much trouble for them. The bikes were well maintained and in between rides when we were busy seeing places of interest, it was perfect being picked up and dropped off efficiently and there was always bottled water when we asked for it. I would strongly recommend anybody who has a slight ambition to go out into the desert to do a tour with these people… they are so well organised that all we had to do was ride, eat and sleep!

We have just completed the two week Rajasthan Adventure with Sanjeev from India Motorbike Tour. If you are an experienced motorcyclist and looking for an incredible adventure, mixing culture and a range of motorcycling conditions, you will love this. The motorcycling is an absolute adrenaline rush. The food and accommodation has been excellent. We really feel like we've experienced India. And the cultural destinations with experienced guides have been jaw-droppingly spectacular. The back up support from an experienced mechanic and excellent drivers was reassuring in a country where we had no local language.
We will definitely return to explore another part of this amazing country with Sanjeev and his team.
