We’ve just had our solar panel system installed today and I want to write a review to say how pleased we are with the whole process.
Vince was very knowledgeable and helpful sorting out a quote, the surveyor was very efficient and the chaps, Andrew & Lewis, who installed the system were both lovely and friendly, really efficient & tidy and explained everything at a level I could understand.

Excellent product and expetience
Infinity Renewables were the first company (of six) that I contacted with regards to considering a solar power installation and requesting a quote as I had done some considerable research beforehand. I simply filled in a request quote form on their website and I was contacted by Rory. I explained to him that I was unsure as to whether we would actually have solar at all and, if we did, I was planning to speak to 5 other companies, so it may well be that we did not place an order with him, but once I had received all the information and made an informed decision I would contact all companies and advise them accordingly. I found Rory really easy to speak to, very informative and helpful. Their quote came in the middle of our budget range (£8k - £14k) and as soon as I came off the phone I said to my wife, “ they’re the ones to beat, good knowledge, filled me with confidence, great warranties ( the ONLY company to provide 15 year warranties on their Inverter and Batteries) and most of all not ‘pushy’. Safe to say that their quote was not the cheapest, but their products and service offering was by far the best of those companies I spoke to. Everything was given a timescale, which was agreed and delivered and in all, Rory and the team who support him ( surveyor, scaffolders, roof fitters, electrician and customer service) have been brilliant, can’t thank them enough, the whole experience has been stress free. I have to say that on the day of installation the EV charger was not available for fitting and all is in hand and I am confident that it will be dealt with with the same level of professionalism and competence that we have already experienced.

Would have given 5 stars but the Support team lets them down.
I wanted to give 5 stars as the installation team were professional, on time, deployed and tested a very neat installation, left everything tidy, explained all I needed to know and were very knowledgeable and friendly.
However, the support side of the business is not in the same league unfortunately. At no time was it explained to me that the MCS certificate and DNO letter would take 4-6 weeks, meaning I am unable to take advantage of my dual battery installation and AI to get the most favourable overall cost of electricity (buying, selling and storing). A very curt email from Georgia informed me of this wait when I politely asked for the documents.
It is now over 6 weeks and I haven’t received a single document. Not even anything confirming what was installed and that it was satisfactorily tested. Also, my only question sent to the sales representative was never replied to.
I am, however, delighted with my 18 panel plus dual battery system and can thoroughly endorse solar as a mature and efficient solution.

It’s great to know their professionalism, workmanship, and communication reflected the standards we aim to deliver on every project.
That said, I’m very sorry to hear about your experience with our support process and the frustration caused by delays in receiving your documentation. We completely understand how important the MCS certificate and DNO approval are in allowing you to fully optimise your system, particularly when it comes to export, storage, and tariff benefits.
To clarify, all DNO applications and MCS submissions are initiated by our team at the point of contract signing, well ahead of installation. We also have multiple dedicated members of staff whose role is to actively chase and progress these applications with the relevant bodies. Following installation, your system is technically audited and signed off in-house by our MCS-qualified electrical and roofing supervisors, typically within 24 hours.
However, while we manage and push these processes as proactively as possible, the final certification and approvals are issued externally by the DNO and MCS bodies themselves. Unfortunately, their processing timeframes—often quoted as 4–6 weeks—are outside of our direct control, and delays can occasionally extend beyond this despite our continued efforts to expedite them.
That said, we absolutely take on board your comments regarding communication. You should have been clearly informed of these timelines from the outset, and we apologise that this wasn’t explained properly or followed up with the level of service you expected. This is something we are actively reviewing internally to ensure better clarity and responsiveness moving forward.
We truly appreciate your recommendation of solar and your positive feedback about our installation team, and we hope to restore your confidence in the support side of our service as well. If you would like, I’d be happy to personally look into the status of your documentation and provide an update.

Tech Sp (Jake Heys) was able to provide clear written instructions to enable multi-step reconfiguration of Vodafone router to support the Growatt LAN Box in updating of data to Consumer dashboard. (background is that Vodafone router wasn't installed when my Solar Panels were installed; I had a different Broadband provider at the time)

I wish I’d done it sooner
I wish I’d done it sooner!
I first spoke to James after enquiring into one of their ads, he took everything I needed onboard and guided me through the process building a system that would cover all of my home’s needs.
The installation team showed up when they said. All of them were polite and courteous of our home finishing the installation in just 2 days
Since going live we’ve already seen a massive decrease in our bills and we haven’t even hit summer yet!

Installation of solar batter
I purchased a solar battery from this company.
The electricians came across the country to install it . I was worried about being able to understand how to use it The electricians Connor and Lewis were so helpful and patient and took time to find the place I could site it. They worked efficiently throughout the day and gave time to answering all my questions The monitoring app was clearly explained and time given for me to work it out on my own.
They were pleasant, polite and were respectful of the property. I thoroughly commend their workmanship

Connection problems
It was rather frustrating as my system wasn't charging the batteries I was taken through things step by step starting with a system shut down and restart. Next the growatt box wouldn't talk to the system and then the box wouldn't connect to the server. Jake Hays was more than helpful he went that extra mile asking for screen shots of the menus I'd got into (menus I didn't know existed especially after spending 3 hours on the computer with Vodafone). After checking them out he got back to me as he'd spotted the switch for the growatt server was off work he sent me detailed instructions on how to rectify it. The instructions were reasonably easy to follow and the problem was rectified. Thanks.

Previously wrote a review about the installation which was very good, subsequently have had a few technical questions which have been asked promptly and recently the unit faulted without me knowing and the team contacted me and gave me a clear date sheet on how to reset and reboot, so first class really.
