Too risky for business-critical infrastructure
After being moved to this service by UK2 Ltd for our multi-year bare metal servers, we suddenly received a mandatory two-month termination notice for our server support, with no alternatives offered.
Support told us: “We are unable to offer an extension past 31st May, nor are we able to offer direct migration assistance. We wish you the very best in your future endeavours.” (not sure this is a good message at all).
As a result, we had to move everything quickly and entirely on our own. However, we continued paying full price for the service. When we asked to terminate earlier, they said our notice was subject to their terms and that we had to wait at least 30 days (and pay!).
Ridiculous. I would not use this service again. It is too risky to be suddenly left on your own with such short notice. This should not be allowed for critical server infrastructure.
