I have used this company for 2 international moves (US to Italy in 2019 and again US to Germany in Mar/Apr 2024) and one word is the epitome of this company: professional. Michael and Alex were very responsive from the moment I engaged them asking for a quote, until my goods were delivered in Germany. They diligently worked with me to determine and complete pickup of my goods with a lot of moving parts (I am currently out of the country so they ensured my friend in the US stayed abreast of changes). The moving company on this end contacted me asking for customs paperwork and I messaged Michael to assist, he did and everything cleared very quickly on this end. These guys are awesome! If I ever require another move (which may be in a few years), I will definitely be calling Inter-Movers again. Quick, efficient, communicative, and professional. I would give them 10-stars if I could! Most definitely recommend this company for your next move!

I now used them 3 times to move from the US to France it was every time a pleasant experience.

Don't use inter-movers. They have hidden charges that you only find out about when preparing to pick up items. I shipped a few small items after the death of both my parents and then found out that on top of the high fees already paid, I had to pay extra they had not warned me about if I wanted to collect my items. They were very misleading in their wording claiming door-to-door service which was not true. Their communication was also woefully inadequate. My shipment kept getting delayed and they never contacted me. I always had to contact them and then they would just send me a new date and little else. This has several times.

Michael is prompt / polite and provides very detailed responses to all your questions..........until the money is transferred to his account - after that you are in the "deep blue sea"



We moved from the US to London,UK. Our sea shipment was collected on March 31st 2022 and we received it in London on July 18th 2022.

Here are the issues with the shipment


1) On the day of pick up - we did not get any confirmation of the time of pick up. We kept calling all morning and were told that they CANNOT provide an estimate as the team is out on another pick up. Pick up team came around 3pm in the afternoon. Note that we were told at the time of booking that we will receive a call one day prior to pick up confirming the time of pick up



2) the pick up crew looked extremely overworked, and tired. They got done by around 10.30 in the night (!). My sympathies with the team but this was indeed extremely poor management on behalf of the company. We were held up for the entire day, had to leave the apt in the middle of the night with a baby. To make matters worse, the head of the pick up team entered in a verbal argument with my husband as my husband wanted to cross check the bill (which was about twice the initial estimate).



3) Michael had advised us that we can cross check the cubic feet / cft after the packing is done. We had cross confirmed that with the pick up crew before they started packing. After the packing was done they loaded everything in a jiffy. After unpacking in London we realised that they had packed entire chairs in boxes (rather than disassembling it - thereby increasing the cubic feet). Of course we could not cross check the cubic feet once it was loaded in the truck - we were told that it is not allowed as their insurance does not cover if there is any harm to my husband if he gets on the truck (!) - maybe true, but a convenient excuse in my view.



4) Once the goods were collected, we had to follow up for everything, status of shipment, estimated / expected delivery dates (which were changed
multiple times). Note that once goods are collected then Mr Michael is almost done with you - you then have to follow up with 2/3 different companies who are managing the clearing and delivery.



5) And of course the goods arrived DAMAGED - lamp glasses broken, some glass artefacts broken, corners of side tables and dressers damaged.

Horrendous service and a total no-go! unless you like bad service, being charged twice of estimate, delayed shipment and damaged goods!



p.s. This review took some time because we wanted to provide Michael the review he deserved. More so, we chose Michael simply because of good reviews and ratings on Trustpilot. We wanted to ensure that "future customers" can make a more informed decision!

Thank you for your prompt work and punctuality. Everything was at the highest level! I needed to move furniture, some equipment, and couple of other things that were important to me from the rented apartment. They called before hand, so that i could prepare myself, helped me to load all the stuff into their truck. They really cared about safety of my belongings. You can tell that the guys are real pros.
