A small group of incompetents trying—and failing—to imitate the major AI training players. The entire operation feels amateurish, disorganized, and ultimately ineffective. On top of that, there are clearly discriminatory hourly rates based on workers’ country of origin, which is both unethical and deeply unprofessional.

The internal culture is even worse. Nepotism is rampant: unless you’re part of the inner circle, there is no real path for growth or advancement. Performance and merit seem irrelevant compared to how well you can ingratiate yourself with operations managers. Career progression appears to depend far more on favoritism than on actual skills or results.

What makes the situation even more troubling is the broader context in which this company operates, as it seems to lack the ethical standards and accountability expected within the European market. Given these issues, it is difficult to justify allowing such an organization to continue operating or extracting data from within the European Union.

As the reviews below confirm, this is a scam. They’ve built an elaborate, automated theater, but behind the scenes, it is just a small group of data thieves. Experienced annotators need to speak out so we can make this circus crumble. Leeches like this are killing the market and slipping through industry ethics filters, making it much harder for legitimate companies to pay labelers fairly.

It’s a SCAM! They lure you in with a job on LinkedIn. And ask you to do many assessments run by Ai…for free. Unpaid long assessments (many hours and days) having nothing to do with the job offered. Then they disappear. They scam people out of free labor on Ai assessments

At the beginning of February I communicated via Linkedin with the company Meridial de Invisible. I was interested in the virtual job they offered, and I considered it to be a good occasional job while I find a permanent job. In addition, in the notice they mentioned that I was not applying for a particular job, but for a range of jobs offered by the company. Therefore, I applied for a job that requested translators for English-speaking doctors for Spanish-speaking patients. They indicated that no experience was needed and that after a 10-day training he would be ready to work. I sent them my resume to which they replied that "they were impressed by my CV". Then, they sent me a link to take 3 virtual exams to measure my level of English and my writing in Spanish. I passed the exams without problems. I was told that I would be paid $5 per hour and the schedule would be Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm (PST). In addition, that he could start the training as soon as he had the technical requirements. I was missing a headset with a microphone and a network cable. I notified the company when I got the implements, which cost me $20. They told me that I had to contact the company's IT manager to verify if my laptop met the requirements. I contacted the person, who replied sparingly that "his work schedule is from 8 to 5." I contacted me again on another occasion during office hours and he answered me the same. In the meantime, I received an email saying that I had to pass an English exam for the company's quality area. I took the exam, BUT THEY NEVER TOLD ME THE RESULT. On the third occasion I mentioned to the IT manager to notify me by wp when it is available. To which he replied sparingly "let's do the evaluation now". My equipment passed the evaluation, except for the resolution of my camera which should have been higher. I contacted the company again to start the training (and that I would later upgrade my laptop camera) and they replied saying that I had failed the company's quality exam and that the process ends here. Finally, they told me that I could apply again after 3 months. If the company offered a range of jobs, why should I wait 3 months to reapply? I wrote them an email complaining about all this and that I had spent $20 on implements, but they never responded.

I was about to sign the contract when I figured out that they reserve the right to not pay you for the work you'd do for them. they can easily cancel your contrac, all the risk, wether youd get paid, is on you. its a scam, beware!

You invest enormous time and effort just to make it into the so-called talent pool, yet they can end everything effortlessly.
The decision feels like a judge’s verdict: final, abrupt, and delivered without explanation, leaving no room for dialogue or understanding.

This is a company that provides it all: Outstanding guides to ease you into work, a good payday, enthusiastic co-workers and helpful higher ups.

This has been one of the most frustrating and unprofessional experiences I’ve ever dealt with. Their verification process is a complete mess — they keep requesting documents for no clear reason, and even official IDs with full addresses get rejected without explanation. They declined my national ID, birth certificate, driver’s license, and even my bike license, only to eventually accept a bank statement… after wasting an unbelievable amount of time.

And after all that? They randomly deactivated my account again with zero explanation. No communication, no logic, no respect for the effort they forced me to go through. It honestly feels like they don’t know what they’re doing, and they certainly don’t value anyone’s time.

If you’re considering applying or dealing with them — save yourself the headache. There are plenty of professional, competent companies out there. This is absolutely not one of them.”

I wanted to take part in AI training on invisible. Everything worked fine, I took many assessments, which were intelligent and made a great impression.
But these all took time. Eventually, I onboarded on some projects, setup Hubstaff, Slack and everything and did assessment tasks.
Their dashboard is very technical and complicated, so I spent time on figuring it out.
At the end, I was waiting on the workbench to get into projects.
Mind you, it took months to get there. And a lot of unpaid hours.
Now they started sending me emails. I should set up my tax in their system. Okay, I went there and... it told me, that I can't take part in their projects in general, because they do not work with people from Germany. This was identified via my IP.

They had this info all the time. But they still chose to let me spend countless hours of training, onboarding and setup, even though it was known, that I have no chance to take part.

And no, this is not a joke. I'm still on their Slack, have signed SOW's and waiting for a project assignment. It's just a useless time-waster.

I have no clue, why they did that. I know a lot of other companies, and they tell you from the start, if you can not work for them.

So this was quite a costly and sad experience. Since normally I liked, how they approached everything. But no, it was a trap.

I received and ad for applying as Biology Expert, fluent in Italian. After applying I received a link to assess my English language. The assessment was declared to last one hour. The assessment was not paid. The company does not apparently provide biology related content, but language related content. Thus, the approach is a bit strange. I suspect they want to get some AI training for free.
