honestly, first off the overall rating of this company just shows how far people have gone to be ignorant. I do believe that in the beginning the products, both brand and size, for the price of the box were much more enticing but have any reviewers seen the prices out there? I believe they should have stuck with the one level of box, so the "original" and used subcategories instead of merch size. The focus would be less quantity/size and more on quality with quantity across the board. Otherwise, as a single mom of 3 sons living in the city...I'm ok with my monthly staying young {-looking} cost!😊

was a cute concept at first but items seemingly never align with my answers for the quiz. I asked for darker berries and neutrals and all I ever seem to get are pinks. I also get a lot of the same products just different brands, in my three months for having ipsy I’ve gotten three different cleansers and no other type of skin care. It also seems like they’ve sent significantly less this month compared to my last couple of months? Would recommend for one month but cancel immediately after, more than one month is not worth it.

I haven't even ordered yet and I'm not impressed. Why do you offer deals that are as low as 2.50 to get started and the other one is always 4$ but when its time to pay it's 35$ If you don't have a 2.50 deal or an actual 4$ deal to start then don't advertise that you do .

As a medical doctor who specializes in skin. Anti aging and all that it entails, I thought it might be fun and educational to use and evaluate products my patients are using as well as see ingredients/products trending. I continue to be extremely disappointed.. colors are always wrong, 2/5 products are actually full size, when paying for 5 full size products. I have received 5 eyeshadow palettes in the row and low quality/caliber products. I only stayed on this long because I have been too busy to log on and cancel. I have given so much away due to incompatible color matches and redundancy.

Oh Ipsy let me down big time .
One they have no customer support in place really, no number to call, it’s only emails that get answered every 24 hours, so even getting to a solution (if you do) takes forever .
For the last I’d say ehhh 8 months I was charged for my bag, never received it . At first they said the shipping address was wrong . Contacted the post office . Got it fixed . Still never received anything . Contacted Ipsy again, they said they “don’t do refunds” which really you don’t do refunds ?? What ? So they resent me a redo bag. Never got it . They kept saying the address was wrong but it was the same address as I was getting other mail from ?
After relentlessly trying to fix this situation more than the company seemed to care, I canceled and guess I’m out of close to $200 with zero product.
I will definitely be telling every single person I know to stay away from this company.
Completely terrible service overall. Can’t believe a company would screw over a paying customer like that, but it’s America so makes sense.

’ve been trying to resolve an issue with IPSY for almost two months, and at this point I’m exhausted. My package never arrived, and despite reaching out multiple times, customer service has been completely ineffective. Every time I contact their chat support, they act like it’s the first time I’m reporting the issue — even though this is my third request for the same missing package. No one seems aware of the history, and nothing gets resolved.
All I’m asking for is either a properly shipped replacement or a full refund, but IPSY has made even that impossible. The lack of communication, accountability, and basic customer service is really disappointing. I’ve been patient, but this experience has been unprofessional and incredibly frustrating.
I hope IPSY steps up and actually helps the customers they keep ignoring.

New Edit: They reached out to me and were very considerate. I won’t be cancelling the Ipsy Extra but I did cancel the Original. Please do not raise the price on that one too?
(Edit Below) I have had Ipsy on and off for years. While there are some good deals, they've barely changed the brands or products in 8 years. They also tend to refund you for out of stock items at least 2 weeks later. You don't get told what they didn't have in stock, so keeping all receipts is essential. The online stock is unreliable. That has to be what bothers me the most. All the refunds that I have to play guessing game with.

The worst experience I have ever had with a Company.
I signed up at the beginning of February, placed me order and it was shipped out pretty quickly. However after tracking the box hasn't moved since 02/16. (It is now 03/02)
I was originally told (via a Chat Bot) that I needed to wait until 03/01 then they would look into it. Today (03/02) I am being told to wait until 03/06!!! You cannot talk to a real person only an AI Chat Bot that has very automated responses.
I have cancelled my membership but will probably never see that money back or the items. There is no way to actually talk to a real person.
DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!!!!!!

First off let me start by saying their customer service is horrible the fact that they have no way to speak to a live person is ridiculous the Glam bot just repeatedly gives you choices of the same things no matter what you say to it and sometimes it's not matching up to what you need and you have a different problem everybody has different problems sometimes and they may not be listed in there and if they're not then you're just screwed there's no other way to get a hold of anyone I have been a member for around 6 years so I was a member when it was boxycharm when it was boxycharm it was so much better you didn't get to choose any of your products but the five products that they surprised you with we're always in good variety and they never repeated the same products such as I don't need sent liquid eyeliner every month for the next 3 months the choices that you have to pick from also are very limited it's just a few and some of them are name brands that I've never even heard of before I tried very hard to share a review with them and address this problem but of course I could not get a hold of anyone and it just kept sending me to the same thing which got me nowhere so I finally Googled it and ended up here I think not being able to speak to a live person is just a way out to not have to deal with everyone's issues and just put you off to the side it's ridiculous I am currently looking for another monthly box from another company I just refuse to deal with this Ipsy anymore.

Tried to switch my subscription from extra to original and then got charged for both. Also shipped to wrong address that I updated. Also now it says my subscription is inactive which I did not cancel so now I cannot cancel it. Cannot find anyone to contact other than their dumb AI bot. DO NOT BUY FROM IPSY!!!!!!!!

Ipsy lost for my Ipsy Ultimate November 2025 box and IPSY Extra October box, also 3 orders from Ipsy Shop were never delivered. That’s Order number: #o_16maf-i-midg2vje, Order number: #o_9873jn-i-mgnou0mo and Order number: #o_x3e2yl-i-mgnki1cu
The reason why all my orders since October were not delivered is because IPSY changed my delivery address, actually cropped it without letting me know of course.
I had severe health issues and was not able to pay more attention to this earlier, but when I find out I was very upset. It was around 300 USD loss for me and IPSY support literally refused any investigation or support on this case. I was a client for more than 2 years, many orders but this ignorance to systemic issues was just the last drop. It is not worth it. Better to buy what you want on Sephora or Cult Beauty or buy AllureBox instead, never happened anything like that with them. I can’t imagine how shop just randomly cropped my delivery address(which was fixed in the cabinet and valid for orders for years, no problem with delivering items before October 2025, no missed box) messed up it, no response, no investigation, nothing. Ipsy Care just completely ignored my case. Strongly advise against subscription. It is sad because it was my favourite and I spent a lot of money in the past and had a lot of joy with orders.

These people are garbage. I canceled my membership- they charged my card anyhow. And to add to their trashy business practices, I NEVER GOT THE ORDER. They ignore emails, and they have zero customer service. I regret ever giving them my information, and I'm telling literally anyone I can about this. I'm going to FB, Instagram, X, any social media I have to warn people about these thieves.

I subscribe to a monthly glam bag from Ipsy that includes 4-5 products. This month, one of the products, a lip plumper, instantly burned my lips to the point I almost had to ice them to cool the burn. The burning receded, but lingered for several hours. I had someone else try the product with the same effect. I contacted Ipsy customer support and explained what happened.
Her reply:
Please know that we take reports like yours very seriously. We’ve escalated your feedback to our brand and quality assurance teams so they can review this product and ensure it meets safety standards. While IPSY works closely with our brand partners, we recognize that reactions can still occur, and your report helps us improve safety and selection for all members.
Your membership and trust are very important to us, and I truly hope we can resolve this in a way that feels fair to you. Please let me know how you’d like to proceed so we can take immediate action.

Thank you for escalating my feedback to the teams. I hope the product is checked thoroughly for safety. It’s concerning that it has been sent to other Ipsy members who might not say anything but suffer the bad effects.
I would like a refund for that product. I know it’s a small amount, but it’s money spent for a product I can’t use. Please refund to my credit card.

At this time, we aren’t able to issue a refund for individual products included in the monthly Glam Bag, as all sales are final per our Terms of Use. I understand this may be disappointing, especially when a product cannot be used, and I sincerely apologize for the frustration this has caused.
She asked me how I wanted to proceed, then refused to help. This is not right to keep money for an unusable and dangerous product and tell me "tough." The $3.00 I asked to be refunded was all I asked for. I feel it is a reasonable request, especially after dealing with burning lips for several hours.
The company should back up its stance that its members matter, ensure products are safe, and issue refunds when justified, as in this case.

l'm extremely disappointed with my experience with IPSY.l paid for a January 2026 IPSY Original+Add Ons order,but 10 items were never delivered.After contacting customer support multiple times,the process turned into an endless loop of automated responses and repeated questions.Instead of resending the missing items,IPSY sent a replacement package with incorrect and duplicate(not for resale) products-items l had already received before.The value of these replacements was significantly lower than the original products l paid for(brands like Tatcha,Rare beauty,Saie,Briogeo,NARS,Amika).The issue hasn't been properly resolved.It feels like customers are being worn down until they give up.If items are out of stock,IPSY should be transparent and issue refunds promptly,not send random substitutes and delay the process.l expected much better customer service from a company of this size.Sadly,l don't recommend IPSY based on this experience

I have a IPSY extra account, and I have been charged twice in a month and received no packages. I tried canceling my account, and the app led me through a loop that never let me cancel my subscription. I can't even take my banking information out. To make matters worse, the AI customer service was extremely poor quality and it couldn't even send the verification code to my email.

Scammed my mom. They sent her January package to the wrong address ,that she hasn’t Lived at for years, even though she updated her address,And when my mom is trying to contact for a replacement, they’re refusing and said they’re going to charge her for a replacement and the February package. My mom NEVER gets anything nice for herself, and the one time she does, she gets screwed over by a scamming company. Ipsy just lost a customer, and someone who was considering buying a subscription with them. Get your crap together .
